Shengdihuang (Rehmanniae Radix, 8 liang) Shaoyao (Paeoniae Radix Alba, 5 liang) Xiangchi (Fermented Soybean, 1 sheng) Congbai (Scallion White, cut, 1 sheng) Shengjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens, 4 liang) Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, 2 liang, honey-fried)
The above six ingredients are cut, decocted in 7 sheng of water until reduced to 2.5 sheng, divided into three doses. Do not re-decoct; abstain from sexual intercourse. (From *Waitai Miyao*, Vol. 34)
Formula for treating virgins who suffer bleeding that does not stop due to improper first sexual intercourse or injury by other objects.

Mahuanggen (Ephedrae Radix et Rhizoma Cinnamomifoliae, 3 fen), Gu Shan (Old Fan, burned to ash, 1 fen). Grind and mix with milk. For adults, dose is 1 cunbi (square inch spoonful); for infants, 3 fenbi. Take three times daily. (From *Yixin Fang*, Vol. 25)
Lingshen Gao (Spirit God Ointment) for treating acute Jingfeng (Acute Convulsion).
Chifu Shen (Red Poria with Hostwood, 1 liang), Zhusha (Cinnabar, 1 liang), Maimendong (Ophiopogonis Radix, 5 qian), Shexiang (Moschus, 2.5 qian).
Grind all into fine powder, mix with honey to form small pills. Take one pill before sleep with Bohe Tang (Mint Decoction). The effect is miraculous. An old physician, whose family practiced pediatrics for three generations, cured countless diseases with only four or five medicines. For instance, infant convulsions are mostly heat syndromes; do not immediately use standard Jingfeng medicines. Instead, use Daochi San (Guide Out the Red Powder) added with Fangfeng (Saposhnikoviae Radix) and Zhuye (Bambusae Folium), decoct together, and take two or three doses to guide out the heart-startling evil heat, after which the convulsions will cease. Shenxiao Dan (Divine Efficacy Pill) for treating incurable pediatric Ganqi (Childhood Malnutrition Syndrome).
Lvfan (Melanterite/Vitriol), calcine until red hot, quench in strong vinegar, calcine again. Repeat this process three times. Grind finely, mix with jujube pulp to form pills the size of mung beans. Administer with warm water, two to three doses daily. (From *Zhenglei Bencao*, Vol. 3)
Formula for treating pediatric malaria.
