**Maimai Disease (Malformed Veins Disease)**: Suddenly, red collateral vessels appear under the skin, resembling earthworms. This is caused by malignant wind invading the collaterals during spring and winter, leading to blood stasis.
It is advisable to take Wuxiang Liaoqiao Tang (Five-Aromatic Forsythia Decoction) to remove blood stasis, and apply Danshen Gao (Salvia Ointment). The condition will improve after several days. If I suffer from this when crossing mountain ridges, I often take Wuxiang Tang and apply Vigna angularis seeds externally, which leads to resolution. (From *Zhouhou Beiji Fang*, Vol. 5)
**Ehe Disease (Malignant Nodules Disease)**: Sudden nodules appear within the flesh, large ones like plums or peaches, small ones like bean grains. There is severe pain in the skin, wandering left and right across the body, accompanied by high fever and aversion to cold.
It is advisable to take Wuxiang Liaoqiao Tang and apply Vigna angularis seeds externally, causing immediate resolution. For residual nodules, Danshen Gao may also be taken. (From *Zhouhou Beiji Fang*, Vol. 5)
**Errou Disease (Malignant Flesh Disease)**: Suddenly, fleshy growths appear in the body, initially the size of adzuki beans, protruding and growing rapidly, resembling cow or horse milk, or chicken combs.
It is advisable to take Lulu Tang (Radix Rhapontici Uniflori Decoction). Externally, the area can be cauterized with a heated iron tool, three times a day, until slightly charred, followed by the application of Shengma Gao (Cimicifuga Ointment). (From *Zhouhou Beiji Fang*, Vol. 5)
