The human body possesses 108 acupoints; among them, injury to 72 points is not fatal and will not be discussed further. The remaining 36 major acupoints are all vital areas where injury can lead to death. If injured, specific regulatory treatments must be applied as follows.
The forehead belongs to the Heart Meridian (Heart Channel). The Heart governs blood vessels and should not be damaged. After damage, exposure to wind is most feared. If beaten heavily causing unceasing bleeding, and the blood swells upon exposure to wind, death will occur in three to five days or six to seven days. If not exposed to wind and no swelling occurs, death will not ensue. Use Chuan Qiang Huo (Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix), Chuan Xiong (Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma), and Fang Feng (Saposhnikoviae Radix), each one qian (approx. 3g), added to the aforementioned "Thirteen-Ingredient Decoction" for decoction and oral administration. Additionally, administer Duo Ming Dan (Life-Restoring Pill) three to four doses until recovery.

The point between the two eyebrows is named Mei Xin (Center of Eyebrows). Heavy beating here causes the head to swell like a bucket, leading to death in three days. Use the aforementioned "Thirteen-Ingredient Decoction" with added Chuan Xiong (Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma), Chuan Qiang Huo (Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix), Fang Feng (Sapothnikoviae Radix), and Jing Jie (Schizonepetae Spica), each one qian five fen (approx. 4.5g), decocted and taken orally. If medication is refused, lack of swelling means survival, but edema with bleeding indicates certain death.
The sides of the forehead are the Tai Yang (Sun) points. Heavy beating here leads to death in seven days or half a month. If eyes and ears are damaged and blood coagulates into pus, survival is possible. Wind exposure must be avoided, as it causes swelling and death. Use Chuan Xiong (Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma) and Chuan Qiang Huo (Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix), each one qian (approx. 3g), added to the Thirteen-Ingredient Decoction for decoction. Simultaneously, take Qi Li San (Seven-Cent Powder) two fen (approx. 0.6g) mixed in. Administer Duo Ming Dan (Life-Restoring Pill) twice. Apply Tao Hua San (Peach Blossom Powder) externally.
The back of the head is the Zhen Gu (Occipital Bone), which governs the twelve meridians and is also known as the Du Mai (Governing Vessel). It is the master of the body and must not be damaged. The areas on both sides behind the head belong to the Tai Yang (Sun) Meridian, containing blood-storing points.
