用磨房驴粪泥烧灰，趁热将青布包咬痛牙处，俟流出涎，以碗加水接视之，见虫在碗上

杨梅根皮、韭菜根白、厨房案板上刮下泥，三味相等，捣匀贴两腮上，半时其虫从眼角
而出。
苍耳三十个，川椒三十粒，小黑豆三十粒，陈腊醋一碗煎半碗，常温漱。
生地二两，白蒺藜（炒去刺）二两，制香附四两，青盐一两五钱，没实子大者四个，破

公老鼠一个，剥去皮肉，尽用骨放瓦上焙干，再用白芷、川芎、地骨皮、桑皮、川椒、
蒲公英、旱莲草、青盐、川槿皮各三钱，麝一钱（又方以香附一两易之，可不必用麝），共

槐枝叶、柳枝叶，不拘多少，切碎水浸三日，熬汁去渣，入青盐、白盐各二两，同汁熬
干为末，擦牙吐出洗眼。
细辛、生石膏各三钱，川椒、生矾、青盐各二钱，共为末擦之。
又方∶姜黄、白芷、细辛各五分，共为末擦痛处，过后以盐汤漱口。如遇外面赤肿，去
姜黄，加川芎。
又方∶荜茇、细辛、潮脑，三味共为细末擦牙，立刻满口清凉，低头流尽清涎，温茶漱
口，切莫咽下。一切牙痛多擦数次即愈。
火硝一钱，冰片二分，明雄一分，元明粉五分，共为末，擦患处，数次即愈。
又云∶一撮花椒水一钟，细辛白芷与防风。浓煎漱齿三更后，不怕牙痛风火虫。
Use the mud from a mill donkey's dung, burn it to ash, and while hot, wrap it in a blue cloth and bite it against the painful tooth. Wait until saliva flows out, catch it in a bowl with water to observe; seeing insects on the bowl yields miraculous effects.
Equal parts of mulberry root bark, the white part of leek roots, and soil scraped from kitchen cutting boards are mixed evenly and applied to both cheeks. After half an hour, the insects will emerge from the corners of the eyes.
Thirty cocklebur fruits (Xanthii Fructus), thirty Sichuan peppercorns (Zanthoxyli Pericarpium), thirty small black soybeans, and one bowl of aged vinegar are decocted until half a bowl remains. Rinse the mouth at room temperature.
One Chinese gallnut (Galla Chinensis), pierce a small hole, fill it with salt, calcine over fire, grind into powder, and apply several times for permanent relief.

Willow and locust tree branches and leaves, in any quantity, are chopped, soaked in water for three days, decocted, and filtered. Add two liang each of green salt and white salt, and boil down to a dry powder. Use to brush teeth, spit out, and wash eyes.
Three qian each of Asarum Root (Xixin) and Raw Gypsum (Sheng Shigao), and two qian each of Sichuan Peppercorn (Chuanjiao), Raw Alum (Sheng Fan), and Green Salt (Qingyan). Grind into powder and apply.
Another prescription: Five fen each of Turmeric Root (Jianghuang), Angelica Dahurica Root (Baizhi), and Asarum Root (Xixin). Grind into powder and apply to the painful area. Rinse mouth with salt water afterwards. If external swelling and redness occur, remove Turmeric and add Ligusticum Chuanxiong Rhizome (Chuanxiong).
Another prescription: Long Pepper Fruit (Bibo), Asarum Root (Xixin), and Camphor (Chaonao). Grind these three into fine powder and apply to teeth. Immediately the mouth feels cool, clear saliva flows out when bowing the head. Rinse with warm tea, do not swallow. For all types of toothache, applying several times leads to recovery.
One qian of Niter (Huoxiao), two fen of Borneol (Bingpian), one fen of Realgar (Ming Xiong), and five fen of Mirabilite (Yuanmingfen). Grind into powder and apply to the affected area. Recovery occurs after several applications.
It is also said: One handful of Sichuan peppercorn boiled in one cup of water, along with Asarum Root (Xixin), Angelica Dahurica Root (Baizhi), and Saposhnikovia Root (Fangfeng). Decoct strongly and rinse teeth after midnight; fear no toothache caused by wind, fire, or insects.
