Use a needle to pick out the maggots, and the condition will heal spontaneously. Alternatively, lie on a bed covered with tender willow leaves, and the maggots will crawl out on their own.
Another prescription: Take salt vinegar soup. Or treat it using the prescription for treating maggots in sores from the "Abscess and Toxic Disease" section; this is most excellent.
Another prescription: Spray the whole body with vinegar soup. Do not lightly use salt vinegar soup.

Another prescription: Take one cup of indigo sediment juice, mix with swallow mud, apply to the umbilicus, burn five cun of incense, and remove when finished.
Another prescription: Take one small rooster, dissect it alive, coat the inside of the stomach with Realgar (Xionghuang) and sesame oil, then apply the chicken to the umbilicus; this is most stable and excellent. Combine with the previous various prescriptions for applying lotus root paste to the feet, which yields even more miraculous effects.
Another prescription: Raw radish, mashed, mixed with lead powder to form a cake, applied to the sole of the foot; also excellent.
Another prescription: Mud from swallow nests, mixed with egg white to form a cake, applied to the umbilicus.
Another prescription: If the heat is severe and there is fear of inducing convulsions (Jing Feng), pricking the middle finger to draw blood with a small needle (left hand for males, right hand for females) is excellent.
This is fire pathogen latent in the Middle Jiao. Use the previously mentioned top prescription of dissected chicken applied to the umbilicus, and the body will naturally calm.
