Skin disease prescriptions are attached below; please refer to the sections on leg and foot diseases and stroke.

One person loved eating roasted, fried, pan-fried, and stir-fried foods with strong flavors, which led to pain and weakness in the whole body's sinews and bones, gradually progressing to the inability to move hands and feet. After more than a year without cure, he recovered after consuming hundreds of jin of winter melon.

Another person suffered from pain all over the body. Some said it was wind-stroke (Zhong Feng), some said damp-wind, and some said Hong Kong foot (Gout). Various medicines were ineffective. Later, a physician diagnosed it as stagnation of Qi and Blood. He prescribed equal parts of Corydalis Rhizome (Yanhusuo), Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Danggui), and Cinnamon Twig (Rougui) ground into powder, taken with warm wine, four qian per dose, resulting in recovery. Gastrodia Rhizome (Tianma) can also be added.

Anyone who has suffered from sores like Yangmei sore (Syphilis-related lesions) and ingested Calomel (Qingfen) will inevitably suffer from pain and contracture of sinews and bones, or chronic non-healing ulcerations. Treat this according to the prescription for detoxifying Calomel found in the section "Relief of Various Poisons".

Fresh Perilla Leaf (Zisu) one bunch (dried leaves can be used if fresh ones are unavailable), scallion heads with roots one bunch, fresh old ginger one large piece, Tangerine Peel (Chenpi) two qian. Mash them together thoroughly and apply externally. [Note: Original text contains garbled characters "Cai Shou", interpreted as application method based on context].

Another formula: Ginger Juice one liang, Scallion Juice one liang, aged rice vinegar five qian, Ox Hide Glue (Niujiaojiao) three liang. Separately boil Chenpi eight qian to extract a thick juice, remove dregs, mix into the glue mixture, simmer slowly over low heat until it forms a gel. Allow to cool to dissipate the fire heat, spread on green cloth, and apply as a plaster. It is extremely effective for pain relief.

Another formula: Pounded glutinous millet very thoroughly (millet comes in sticky and glutinous varieties; glutinous is preferred), stir-fry until hot, wrap in cloth, and frequently apply as a hot compress to the painful area.

Another formula: Take a piece of old ginger, cut off one side, stir-fry thoroughly with Guangdong Feng Liao Xing Medicated Wine, then remove. Heat the Feng Liao Xing Medicated Wine separately. Dip the prepared ginger slice into the hot wine and rub it on the painful area while avoiding wind exposure. This is extremely effective.

Another formula: Finely chop Camphor Tree Bark (Zhangshupi), pound with old ginger until fused, mix with fermented glutinous rice distiller's grains (Jiuzao), and stir-fry until hot. Replace when cold, day and night without interruption. Full recovery in three days. Alternatively, fumigate the umbilicus with this material, cover with blankets to induce sweating, and recover.

Wind-Dampness Moxibustion Method: For areas such as shoulder and back, waist and flanks, arms and legs, knee joints, Huantiao (the lateral aspect of the thigh is Huantiao), and periosteal regions, where Wind-Cold pathogens have invaded... [Text fragment ends here, mentioning acupuncture needles, Pangolin Scales, dry flour, preventing falling sparks, moxibustion once or twice, etc.]

Zilong Pill: Treats sudden onset of pulling and hook-like pain in the chest, back, hands, feet, waist, neck, sinews, and bones, moving unpredictably, or cold numbness in hands and feet with blocked Qi and blood vessels. This is caused by phlegm-saliva accumulating above and below the diaphragm; it is mistaken for paralysis, but it is not. It also treats Qi knot in the throat, resembling a plum pit, appearing and disappearing suddenly, causing choking sensations. It also treats Hong Kong foot pain, and the appearance of tendon lumps all over the body, resembling pomegranates or chestnuts, with unchanged skin color, no pain or itching, only acid-numbness, or spontaneous ulceration with serous discharge lasting years, sometimes forming fistulas. This is caused by phlegm stagnation in the meridians. Regular consumption of these pills leads to complete recovery. The prescription is found in the Yin Ulcer section. Take three fen per dose, washed down with light ginger decoction. Increase the number of pills if phlegm is severe. For Hong Kong foot, add Areca Seed (Binglang), Chaenomelis Fructus (Mugua), Pine Branch (Songzhi), and Serpylli Herba (Juanbai). For hot phlegm, add Natrii Sulfas (Penxiao). For cold phlegm, add Piperis Longi Fructus (Hujiao), Eugenic Flos (Dingxiang), Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens (Ganjiang), and Cinnamomi Cortex (Rougui).
