Immediately instruct the patient to lie flat on the ground. Have someone immediately pour hot urine over the affected area, then frequently wash the eyes with one's own urine; vision will be restored. If the eyeball is ruptured, apply saliva from a cow's mouth several times daily, avoid wind, and rest quietly; it will heal naturally after a long period.
Crush *Bian Tao Ye* (Platycladi Cacumen) to extract its juice, mix evenly with *Ji Dan Qing* (Egg White) and *Ma You* (Sesame Oil), and apply to the affected area for immediate healing.
Another prescription: Grind *Sang Ye* (Mulberry Leaf) that has been exposed to frost into powder, mix with sesame oil, and apply. Alternatively, apply Gaoliangjiang Jiujing (Sorghum Distilled Wine); both are extremely effective in relieving pain.
For snake bites, first urgently drink one or two bowls of good vinegar, or sesame oil may also be used, to prevent the spread of toxic qi. Then, tie off the proximal and distal ends of the injured limb, clean the wound with hot urine, and take only *Bai Zhi* (Angelicae Dahuricae Radix) ground into powder, mixed with decoction of *Mai Dong* (Ophiopogonis Radix). After ingestion, yellow fluid will discharge; once the fluid is exhausted and swelling subsides, the skin heals and recovery occurs.
Another prescription: Mix equal parts of *Xiong Huang* (Realgar), *Wu Ling Zhi* (Trogopteri Dung), *Bei Mu* (Fritillariae Bulbus), and *Bai Zhi* (Angelicae Dahuricae Radix) into powder. Take 3 qian per dose, mixed with warm wine. Apply the dregs to the affected area. Using only Bai Zhi powder applied externally is also acceptable.
Another prescription: Use *Qing Mu Xiang* (Aucklandiae Radix) in any amount, decoct and ingest to relieve pain immediately.
Another prescription: Use raw *Ming Fan* (Alumen) dissolved in boiling water to wash the affected area.
Furthermore, for severe snake bites causing trismus (lockjaw) and unbearable pain, urgently consume garlic and alcohol. Place slices of garlic on the bite site and moxibustion (Ai Zhu Jiu Zhi) with moxa cones. For mild cases, apply 5-7 moxa cones; for severe cases, 30-50 moxa cones. Recovery occurs once the toxic qi is expelled.
Another prescription: Use *Jin Feng Hua* (Canna Indica Flower), stem, or leaf, grind them, mix with wine, and ingest. Apply the dregs to the affected area for immediate effect.
For bites by various harmful insects and snakes where toxic qi has entered the abdomen, crush tender leaves of *Cang Er Cao* (Xanthii Herba), extract the juice, and administer orally. Also, apply thick compresses of the dregs to the wound; this is effective for all such cases.
When poison enters the abdomen, manifesting as blurred vision, trismus, and rigidity of the limbs, use raw *Ming Fan* (Alumen) and raw *Gan Cao* (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma), each ground into fine powder (2 liang total), and mix uniformly. Take 2 qian per dose, mixed with cold water. Additionally, mix this powder with sesame oil and apply to the affected area; this yields miraculous results.
