This condition is named "Qiangzhong" (Strong Middle, referring to persistent priapism), caused by excessive Yang and excess-heat accumulation. If not treated urgently, it will inevitably develop into a severe carbuncle that is difficult to cure. Use Shengdi Huang (Rehmanniae Radix), Huangbai (Phellodendri Cortex), Zhimu (Anemarrhenae Rhizoma), Longgu (Fossilia Ossis Mastodi et Scapulae), Dahuang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma), and Zhike (Aurantii Fructus) each one qian (approx. 3g). Decoct in water and take orally. If the patient has weak stomach Qi and poor appetite, use Huangbai (Phellodendri Cortex), Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma), and Sharen (Amomi Fructus Rotundus) each one qian (approx. 3g). Decoct in water and take orally.
In elderly people with Kidney deficiency-cold and internal hardness of the Kidney organ, even if tonifying medicines are taken, they cannot be absorbed. Take one pair of sheep kidneys and one slice of Duzhong (Eucommiae Cortex, two cun long and one cun wide). Cook thoroughly and eat on an empty stomach. The Kidneys will naturally become soft, followed by regulation with tonifying medicines.
A child had his glans penis tied with hair, causing Qi blockage and swelling shortly thereafter, with no way to resolve it. Later, the child was placed sitting in cold water; he immediately shrank, and upon removing the hair, he recovered completely.
Use Weilingxian (Syringae Ramulus et Folium) two liang (approx. 60g), decoct into a concentrated liquid to soak and wash the affected area, which will lead to recovery.
This formula is found in Volume XIV, Shanghan Section, Yin Syndrome Shanghan subsection.
Whenever the penis is severed and the wound fails to heal, urgently take the severed penis, bake until dry, grind into powder, and administer with wine. Immediate effect.
This falls under the category of "Xiagan" (Chancre). Use Luganshi (Calamina) one liang (approx. 30g) (calcined over fire and quenched with vinegar, repeated five times), Ercha (Catechu) three qian (approx. 9g). Grind together into powder, mix with sesame oil, and apply topically. Immediate recovery.
Another prescription: Burn women's menstrual cloth to ash, let cool, mix with sesame oil, and apply topically. Highly effective. Alternatively, add a small amount of Bingpian (Borneolum Syntheticum) on top for better results.
Another prescription: First wash the area with a decoction of Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma), Yinhua (Lonicerae Japonicae Flos), and Congtou (Allii Cepae Bulbus). Take one raw olive pit (if unavailable, boil salted olive pits to remove saltiness, then calcine to retain properties), plus one fen (approx. 0.3g) of Meihua Bingpian (Plum Blossom Borneol). Grind into fine powder, mix with sesame oil, and apply. Even if the tissue is severely rotten, application leads to recovery; tested repeatedly with miraculous results.
Another prescription: Calcify Dahezi (Terminalia Chebulae Fructus) to ash and grind into powder, add a small amount of Shexiang (Moschus). First wash the area with a decoction of Jingjie (Schizonepetae Herba), Huangbai (Phellodendri Cortex), Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma), and Congbai (Allii Tuberosi Bulbus), then apply. Even if rot extends one or two cun deep, this method is excellent. It is also advisable to consult internal decoctions from the Carbuncle and Toxin section for Syphilis sores for combined treatment.
Another prescription: Apply Yinqing San (Silver and Cyan Powder) (see formulas for various carbuncles); highly effective.
Another prescription: Calcinate Biejia (Testudinis Carapax et Plastrum) to ash and apply. When other medicines fail, this works miraculously.
Another prescription: Grind Wubeizi (Galla Chinensis) into powder, mash Si Gua (Luffae Fructus), and wrap/apply to the area. Effective even in cases of severe rot.
