Indications: A formula for treating men and women with long-standing accumulation of cold qi, intestinal wind dysentery, pain in the umbilical and abdominal regions, sallow complexion, and loss of appetite.
Ingredients: Huanghuang (Sulfur, *Realgar* or *Sulfur* - context implies Sulfur here as 'Liu Huang' is standard, but text says Liu Huang which is Sulfur), four liang, ground; Yanhua (Salt Flower), one sheng.
Preparation: First, spread half a jin of salt flower at the bottom of a flat pan. Next, layer the powdered sulfur on top, then cover it with the remaining salt. Cover with paper and seal the seams tightly. Maintain a slow boil resembling "fish eyes" for seven days and nights without interrupting the fire. Remove the salt.
Nijin Dan (Simulated Golden Pill)
Indications: Treats wind-pathogen epilepsy, ghost-related heart pain, detoxification, malignant sores, activation of cinnabar/stone drugs, diabetes (Xiaoke), Yin Jaundice, calms the spirit, stops palpitations, removes wind from the head and face, and stops red and white leukorrhea.
