Chenxiang San (Agarwood Powder)
Secret recipe from Lin Huifu of Jian'an. During the Xining era, he was staying with his son at the Li family's home in Longmen. One day, Mr. Lin had bloody stool. The Li brothers prepared Bazheng San for him to take. After taking it, he felt uncomfortable, and pain in the lower abdomen and anterior yin intensified. I advised Mr. Lin to take Tusishan Yao Wan. His illness resolved, and his qi and blood slightly recovered. This is likely because one cannot exclusively use hot herbs; blood tends to expand when exposed to heat. Chenxiang San treats leng lin (cold strangury) with pain below the umbilicus and oppression in the lower abdomen.

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Take 1 qian per dose, mix with frankincense wine before meals. Repeat if not cured.
Qibao San (Seven Treasures Powder)
Treats long-standing or new-onset strangury due to sand/stones and heat binding.

Grind each ingredient separately into a powder as fine as flour. Mix thoroughly and grind over a thousand times until extremely fine and uniform. Take 1 qian per dose, mix with warm wine, taken on an empty stomach.
Initial Guide Formula:
Take one good walnut, burn until carbonized but preserved in nature, grind finely, mix with one silver zhan of warm wine, and take. After taking the guide formula, take Qibao San. Effective within three days; thereafter, take Qibao San daily.
