Nine types of heartache, phlegm-fluid obstruction, chest binding, regurgitation, stagnation of wine and food that is difficult to stop, intestinal and gastric rumbling, water-qi disorder, diaphragmatic disease, umbilical pain, abdominal pain accompanied by blood distension, wind in the intestines, malaria, heartache, retained placenta, blood confusing the heart, diarrhea, etc. Needling Gongsun (SP4) brings immediate effect.

Fullness in the middle, chest and heart stuffiness and distension, intestinal rumbling, watery diarrhea, rectal prolapse, difficulty swallowing, damage from alcohol, hard and fixed masses,胁肋 (hypochondriac) snatching pain, women's blood pain and heartache, chest binding with urgency and unbearable pain, unresolved cold damage, chest binding, malaria. Neiguan (PC6) alone can handle these conditions.

Hemiplegia of hands and feet due to wind-stroke, inability to lift, pain and numbness, fever, spasms, head wind, headache, swelling and toxins extending to the cheeks, red and painful eyes, toothache, deafness, swollen throat, wind-induced itching, tendon pulling causing leg pain, hypochondriac distension and rib fullness. Needling Linqid (GB14) often yields verified results.

Swelling and pain of limbs and joints, cold arms, paralysis of four limbs, head wind, pain attacking the back, hips, and internal/external bones, top of head and supraorbital ridge pain, hot and numb hands and feet, night sweats, traumatic tetanus, red swollen eyes and red eyeballs, self-sweating due to unresolved cold damage, burning sensation on the body surface. Waiguan (TE5) is the primary treatment point.

Urgent spasms and trembling of hands and feet, muteness due to wind-stroke, epilepsy, headache, red swollen eyes with continuous tearing, pain in legs, knees, back, and neck, generalized neck stiffness, unresolved cold damage, red swollen teeth and cheeks, sore throat, numbness of hands and feet, foot injury with traction, night sweats. Piercing Houxi (SI3) first.

Pain in waist, back, and neck, leg swelling, susceptibility to wind, spontaneous sweating, headache, dizziness, red painful eyes, supraorbital ridge pain, numbness and spasms of hands and feet, cold arms, milk stasis (galactostasis), deafness, epistaxis, epilepsy, limb joint vexation and aversion, generalized edema, profuse sweating like rain. Needling Shenmai (BL62) first often yields verified results.

Hemorrhoids, malaria, swollen bowels, diarrhea, hematemesis, hematuria, coughing up sputum, toothache, swollen throat, dysuria, pain in chest, heart, groin, dysphagia, postpartum rigidity, muteness, lower back pain, blood disorders, cold at the umbilicus. Lieque (LU7) disperses mastitis, treats retained placenta, and addresses cold in the diaphragm.

Throat obstruction, dribbling urination, bladder qi pain, intestinal rumbling, food stagnation, wine stagnation, abdominal and umbilical pain, vomiting and diarrhea, stomach reversal, tight stools, dystocia with coma, masses, wind in intestines with frequent bleeding. For resolving qi in the diaphragm and invading phlegm, Zhaohai (KI6) is effective.
