[1] If the fever is due to excessive blood loss, with a pulse that is large and forceful on the surface but empty upon light pressure, and completely absent upon heavy pressure, this is fever caused by Blood Deficiency. Use Danggui Buxue Tang (Dongquiang Tonifies the Blood Decoction).
[2] If the pulse is deep and minute, feeling weak and soft upon pressure, this is fever caused by Yin Excess (False Heat due to True Cold). Si Jun Zi Tang (Four Gentlemen Decoction) should be used with Pao Jiang (Processed Ginger) and Fu Zi (Prepared Aconite Root).
[3] If there is fever accompanied by irritability, muscle twitching, and tendon tremors, this indicates severe blood loss. Sheng Yu Tang (Sage Renewal Decoction) is appropriate.

Attributes:
[1] The wrist bones, also known as metacarpals, are the proximal joints of the five fingers. They are also called Yong Gu, commonly known as Hu Gu (Tiger Bone).
[2] There are six such bones that come together to form the palm; they are not a single solid bone.
[3] Their upper ends connect to the distal ends of the forearm bones (radius and ulna). The lateral bone is named Gao Gu, also called Rui Gu or Huai Gu, commonly known as Long Gu (Dragon Bone). It is named Wan (Wrist) because it can flex and extend up and down.
[4] If falling from a carriage or horse, landing on the palms, only the wrist may be injured. If landing on the fingertips, causing the fingers to flip back against the forearm, the joint spaces of the wrist must have separated (dislocation).
[5) For wrist injuries characterized by swelling and pain, the method involves massaging the wrist with both hands, taking Zhenggu Zijin Dan (Orthopedic Purple Gold Pill) internally, and applying Wanling Gao (Myriad Miracles Plaster) externally.
[6) If the back of the hand is flipped backward against the forearm, grasp the back of the hand with both hands, gently rotate it back to its original position to reduce the dislocation, then massage the tendons until they are harmonious and smooth. Take Ren Shen Zijin Dan (Ginseng Purple Gold Pill) internally and apply Hunyuan Gao (Primordial Harmony Plaster) externally.
