鼻痔初起榴子形，久垂紫硬碍气通，肺经风湿热郁滞，内服辛夷外点平。
【注】此证生于鼻内，形如石榴子，渐大下垂，色紫微硬，撑塞鼻孔，碍人气息难通。
由肺经风湿热郁，凝滞而成。内服辛夷清肺饮，以清肺热；外以 砂散，逐日点之，渐
化为水而愈。宜戒浓味、暴怒，庶不再发。

辛夷清肺饮
辛夷（六分） 甘草（生，五分） 石膏（ ） 知母 栀子（生研） 黄芩（各一钱） 枇杷叶
（去毛，蜜炙，三片） 升麻（三分） 百合 麦冬（去心，各一钱）
水二盅，煎八分，食远服。或加羌活、防风、连翘、薄荷。
【方歌】鼻痔辛夷清肺饮，辛草膏知栀子芩，枇杷升麻百合麦，或加羌活翘薄斟。
砂散（见耳部耳痔内）
肺风粉刺肺经热，面鼻疙瘩赤肿疼，破出粉汁或结屑，枇杷颠倒自收功。
【注】此证由于肺经血热而成。每发于面鼻，起碎疙瘩，形如黍屑，色赤肿痛，破出
白粉汁，日久皆成白屑，形如黍米白屑。宜内服枇杷清肺饮，外敷颠倒散，缓缓自收功也。

枇杷清肺饮
人参（三分） 枇杷叶（刷去毛，蜜炙，二钱） 甘草（生，三分） 黄连（一钱） 桑白皮
（鲜者佳，二钱） 黄柏（一钱）
水一盅半，煎七分，食远服。
【方歌】枇杷清肺枇杷叶，参草黄连桑白
皮，黄柏同煎食远服，肺风粉刺尽皆宜。
颠倒散
大黄 硫黄（各等分）
研细末，共合一处，再研匀，以凉水调敷。
【方歌】颠倒散敷功效极，大黄硫黄各研细，等分再匀凉水调，专医酒 肺风刺。
鼻痔初起时形状像石榴子，日久下垂且颜色紫暗、质地坚硬，阻碍气息通畅。这是由于肺经风湿热邪郁滞所致，内服辛夷清肺饮，外用平散点涂治疗。
【注】此证生于鼻腔内部，形状如同石榴子，逐渐增大并下垂，颜色紫暗微硬，撑塞鼻孔，阻碍气息难以通畅。
由肺经风湿热邪郁结凝滞而成。内服辛夷清肺饮，以清除肺热；外用平散，每日点涂，逐渐化为水液而痊愈。应当忌食浓味食物和避免暴怒，这样才不会再复发。

平散（见耳部耳痔篇内）
肺风粉刺因肺经热邪引起，面部和鼻子出现疙瘩，红肿疼痛，破溃后流出粉状汁液或结成皮屑，内服枇杷清肺饮，外敷颠倒散，自然能收到疗效。
【注】此证由于肺经血热而成。多发于面部和鼻子，起初为细小的疙瘩，形状如同黍米碎屑，颜色红赤肿痛，破溃后流出白色粉汁，日久皆形成白色皮屑，形状如同黍米白屑。适宜内服枇杷清肺饮，外敷颠倒散，缓缓自能收效。

Nasal polyps (Nose warts) initially resemble pomegranate seeds; if left untreated, they hang down for a long time, becoming purple and hard, obstructing the flow of Qi. This is caused by the stagnation of wind-dampness and heat in the Lung Meridian. Internally administer Xinyi Qingfei Yin (Magnolia Flower Decoction to Clear the Lungs), and externally apply Ping San (Leveling Powder).
[Note] This condition arises inside the nose, shaped like a pomegranate seed. It gradually enlarges and hangs down, appearing purple and slightly hard, blocking the nasal cavity and making breathing difficult.
It is formed by the condensation and stagnation of wind-dampness and heat in the Lung Meridian. Internally administer Xinyi Qingfei Yin (Magnolia Flower Decoction to Clear the Lungs) to clear Lung heat; externally apply Ping San (Leveling Powder) daily. It will gradually liquefy and heal. One should avoid rich flavors and prevent fits of anger, so that it will not recur.

Xinyi Qingfei Yin (Magnolia Flower Decoction to Clear the Lungs)
Xinyi (Flos Magnoliae, 6 fen) Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae Preparata, raw, 5 fen) Shigao (Gypsum Fibrosum, ) Zhimu (Rhizoma Anemarrhenae, ) Zhizi (Fructus Gardeniae, raw and crushed) Huangqin (Radix Scutellariae, each 1 qian) Pipaye (Folium Eriobotryae, remove hairs, honey-fried, 3 leaves) Shengma (Rhizoma Cimicifugae, 3 fen) Baihe (Bulbus Lilii) Maidong (Radix Ophiopogonis, remove heart, each 1 qian)
Add two zhong of water, decoct until one-eighth remains, and take after meals. Alternatively, add Qianghuo (Rhizoma et Radix Notopterygii), Fangfeng (Radix Saposhnikoviae), Lianqiao (Fructus Forsythiae), or Bohe (Herba Menthae).
[Formula Song] For nasal polyps, use Xinyi Qingfei Yin;
Xinyi, Gancao, Shigao, Zhi Mu, Zhizi, Huangqin;
Pipaye, Shengma, Baihe, Maidone;
Or add Qianghuo, Lianqiao, and Bohe as needed.
Ping San (See Ear Section, Internal Treatment for Auricular Polyps)
Lung Wind Acne (Acne Vulgaris due to Lung Heat) is caused by heat in the Lung Meridian. Papules appear on the face and nose, characterized by redness, swelling, and pain. When ruptured, powdery fluid or scales emerge. Pipaye Qingfei Yin (Loquat Leaf Decoction to Clear the Lungs) internally and Diandao San (Inverted Powder) externally will naturally yield results.
[Note] This condition results from blood-heat in the Lung Meridian. It often occurs on the face and nose, starting as small papules resembling millet husks, with redness, swelling, and pain. Upon rupture, white powdery fluid is discharged. Over time, white scales form, resembling millet grains. It is suitable to internally administer Pipaye Qingfei Yin (Loquat Leaf Decoction to Clear the Lungs) and externally apply Diandao San (Inverted Powder), which will slowly bring about healing.

Pipaye Qingfei Yin (Loquat Leaf Decoction to Clear the Lungs)
Renshen (Radix Ginseng, 3 fen) Pipaye (Folium Eriobotryae, brush off hairs, honey-fried, 2 qian) Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae Preparata, raw, 3 fen) Huanglian (Rhizoma Coptidis, 1 qian) Sangbaipi (Cortex Mori Radicis, fresh is best, 2 qian) Huangbai (Cortex Phellodendri, 1 qian)
Add one and a half zhong of water, decoct until seven-tenths remain, and take after meals.
[Formula Song] Pipaye Qingfei Yin uses Loquat Leaf;
With Renshen, Gancao, Huanglian, and Sangbaipi;
Decoct together with Huangbai and take after meals;
Suitable for all cases of Lung Wind Acne.
Diandao San (Inverted Powder)
Dahuang (Radix et Rhizoma Rhei) Liuhuang (Sulfur, equal parts)
Grind into fine powder, mix thoroughly, and grind again until uniform. Mix with cool water and apply topically.
[Formula Song] The effect of applying Diandao San is extreme;
Dahuang and Liuhuang are each ground finely;
Equal parts mixed uniformly with cool water;
Specifically treats alcoholic rhinophyma and Lung Wind Acne.
