治疗男子下焦长期积聚的风寒之邪，肾脏虚损乏力，腰膝酸痛，小便频数，性功能衰退，食欲不振，面色无华，筋骨软弱。巴戟丸方：
巴戟天（一两）、肉苁蓉（一两，酒浸一夜，刮去皱皮，炙干）、石斛（一两，去根锉碎）、鹿茸（一两，去毛，涂酥炙微黄）、山茱萸（一两，去核，三日曝晒干燥，另捣碎）、仙灵脾（即淫羊藿，三分）、覆盆子（三分）。
以上药物，捣碎过筛成粉末，用炼蜜调和并捣击三五百下，制成梧桐子大小的药丸。每日空腹时，用盐汤送服二十丸。剂量可逐渐增加。具有补暖水脏（肾），治疗虚冷气，充实肌肤，增进食欲的功效。
另一巴戟丸方：
巴戟天、石斛（去根锉碎）、补骨脂（微炒）、桂心、附子（炮制裂开，去皮和脐）、川椒红（微炒）、木香、诃子。
以上药物，捣碎过筛成粉末，取白羊肾七对，去除筋膜后细切，用酒五升，熬煮至熟烂，研碎拌和药末，捣击均匀。

Zexie (Alismatis Rhizoma, 1 liang), Fuzi (Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata, 1 liang, processed until cracked, peel and umbilicus removed), Guixin (Cinnamomi Cortex, 1.5 liang), Yuanzhi (Polygalae Radix, 3 qian, heart removed), Niuxi (Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix, 3 qian, seedlings removed), Fangfeng (Saposhnikoviae Radix, 3 qian, rhizome removed), Shihu (Dendrobii Caulis, 3 qian, roots removed).

Bajie (Morindae Officinalis Radix, 1 liang), Rongshen (Cistanches Herba, 1 liang, soaked in wine overnight, wrinkled skin scraped off, dried by roasting), Shihu (Dendrobii Caulis, 1 liang, roots removed and cut into pieces), Lurong (Cervi Cornu Pantotrichum, 1 liang, hair removed, coated with butter and roasted until slightly yellow), Shanzhuyu (Corni Fructus, 1 liang, pits removed, sun-dried for three days, separately pounded), Xianlingpi (Epimedii Folium, 3 qian), Fupenzi (Rubiae Fructus, 3 qian).
The above ingredients are crushed, sifted into powder, mixed with refined honey, and pounded three or five hundred times until uniform. Form pills the size of Sophora seeds. Take twenty pills on an empty stomach daily, administered with salt water. The dosage may be gradually increased.
