姜汁为佳。太阳贴药痛方瘥，四物汤服无价。
此是撞打贼风，故血肿也，瞳仁碎作两边，不可治，但能以药散血止痛。宜服四物汤、活血散、逐血散。

目飞尘证要明，风拂飞尘入眼睛。粘定双睛生赤肿，致令瞳子不非轻。痛而泪，莫迟
停，鹅涎调末药名罂。更将京墨拖筋膜，莫把寻常眼类评。
此病忌客风入目也。若是麦芒入眼，煮大麦汁洗之，新鹅涎点之亦愈，若无物 目，乃
肌肉消瘦不能为肥肤，外感风邪，乃脾之毒也。宜服活血散、连翘散。

因撞击、挫伤或异物刺入导致眼部受伤，若疼痛剧烈则易受风邪侵袭。视物模糊不清如乱麻，惊震导致瞳神受损切勿轻视。瘀血停滞、红肿不散，以地黄配姜汁外敷为最佳。太阳穴贴敷药物后疼痛方可痊愈，内服四物汤（由当归、川芎、白芍、熟地黄组成的补血调经方剂）效果极佳。
这是因撞击及贼风（非正常季节的风邪）所致，故出现血肿。若瞳神破裂分为两半，则不可治愈，只能用药散瘀止痛。适宜服用四物汤、活血散、逐血散。

Xijiang Yue (West River Moon) Ci Poem:
Trauma from impact, bruising, or puncture causes injury; severe pain invites Wind pathogen. Vision becomes blurred like tangled hemp; shock and vibration damaging the pupil must not be taken lightly. Stagnant blood and redness/swelling failing to dissipate are best treated with Rehmanniae Radix (Shudihuang) mixed with ginger juice applied externally. Applying medication to the Taiyang acupoint relieves pain; taking Siwu Tang (Four Substances Decoction) is invaluable.
This is caused by trauma and "Thief Wind" (pathogenic wind), resulting in hematoma. If the pupil is ruptured into two parts, it is incurable; only medication can disperse blood stasis and relieve pain. Suitable formulas include Siwu Tang (Four Substances Decoction), Huoxue San (Invigorate Blood Powder), and Zhuxue San (Expel Blood Powder).

Zhegu Tian (Partridge Sky) Ci Poem:
Human eyes must be preserved; sudden trauma or puncture defies description. Swelling and pain instantly generate corneal opacity (Yi Zhang), compounded by Wind-Heat causing tears to flow. Treatment must be early, not delayed; applying Huangtaoliu paste alleviates eye dizziness. Medication follows true mantras; medical efficacy is miraculous and transcendent.
This is caused by external Wind entering the eye, generating Heat and corneal opacity. Suitable formulas include Zhuxue San (Expel Blood Powder) and Huoxue San (Invigorate Blood Powder); application to the Taiyang acupoint is recommended.

Zhegu Tian (Partridge Sky) Ci Poem:
The pupil is infused with blood, all due to mental exertion causing Qi and Blood to rush upward. Without corneal opacity, differentiation is difficult; pain is like needle pricking, and blood flow is obstructed. Liver Qi is closed, the disease is fierce; purple swelling requires decoction with concentrated wine. Mutong Wan (Akebia Pill) must be swallowed; Sihuo Huoxue (Four Active Blood Invigorating) effects are infinite.
This is a disorder of the Liver Meridian, characterized by Deficiency-Heat and Kidney Deficiency-Heat. Suitable formulas include Tiezhu San (Iron Pillar Powder), Zhuxue San (Expel Blood Powder), and Huoxue San (Invigorate Blood Powder); application to the Taiyang acupoint is recommended.

Zhegu Tian (Partridge Sky) Ci Poem:
The syndrome of Flying Dust in the eye must be understood; wind-blown dust enters the eyes. Adhering to both eyes, it generates redness and swelling, making the condition of the pupil serious. Pain and tears should not cease; mix goose saliva with powdered medicine named Ying (likely referring to Poppy Shell or similar astringent). Apply Jingmo (Beijing Ink) to the tendons/membranes; do not evaluate this as an ordinary eye disease.
This disease contraindicates external Wind entering the eye. If wheat awn enters the eye, wash with boiled barley water; applying fresh goose saliva also cures it. If no foreign body is present, but muscles are emaciated and cannot form healthy flesh, and external Wind pathogen is contracted, it is considered Toxin of the Spleen. Suitable formulas include Huoxue San (Invigorate Blood Powder) and Lianqiao San (Forsythia Powder).
