子大，细研
上四味同研三千遍，汤溶蜡少许，以柳枝子搅四十九遍，入脑子少许，更多尤妙，于五
月五日合丸作饼子，如此○大，每用一饼子临卧安于目 内，来早以净水于盏内洗，自见取
下者，病也。临卧再用，一饼子可使三次。
眼药，旧日京师太庙相对铁汤瓶家方。
蕤仁（细研，竹纸裹，压去油） 芜苡仁（新者，细研，竹纸裹，压去油，二件各四十
九粒） 透明硼砂（如指大，细研，如磨翳多用之，赤目少用之） 生龙脑（如硼砂大，细
研，少
上四味同研匀，将砂将沙糖如指大先筛极细，须夹绢筛过，与前药再研？银瓷盒子收之，
以铜筋点，凡眼中百疾皆治之。
仙灵脾（一两） 淡豆豉（四十九粒）
上二味水一碗半煎至一碗，露冷，令病患顿饮之，即瘥。
兰香子洗净晒干，每用一粒，以箸点大 头，闭目即觉药在目内团圆旋转，药力过即不
转，须臾，自随眵泪出。若翳膜在上如鱼眼然，再易一粒，以病退为度。庐州彭知录名大辩，

遂传得，屡以治人。
唐丞相李恭公扈从，在蜀中日患眼，或涩，或生翳膜，或即疼痛，或见黑花如豆大，累
累数十不断，或见如飞虫翅羽，百方治之不效。僧知深云∶相公此病缘受风毒，夫五脏实则
泻其子，虚则补其母，母能令子实，子能令母虚，肾是肝之母，今肾受风毒，故令肝虚，肝
虚则目中恍惚，五脏亦然。香港脚，消中，消渴，诸风等皆由肾虚也，地黄丸悉主之。
生干地黄（一斤） 熟干地黄（一斤） 石斛（去苗） 枳壳（麸炒，去穣） 防风（去芦，
各四两）
牛膝（酒浸） 杏仁（去皮尖，麸炒黄，为末，入瓦器中，研去油）
上为细末，不许犯铁器，炼蜜丸如桐子大，空心以豆淋酒下五十丸。豆淋酒法∶黑豆半
升，净拣簸，炒令烟出，以酒三升浸之，不用黑豆，用此酒煮独活，即是紫汤也。
治疗眼睛生成翳膜。

以上四味药一同研磨三千次，用热水溶解少许蜂蜡，用柳树枝条搅拌四十九次，加入少许冰片，加得更多尤其好，在五月五日制作成丸剂做成饼状，直径约○大，每次使用一枚饼，睡前放入眼内，次日清晨用净水在盏中清洗，洗下来的就是病邪。睡前再用，一枚饼可以使用三次。

以上四味药一同研磨均匀，将砂糖和白糖如手指头大小先筛至极细，必须用绢布过滤，与前药再研磨，装入银瓷盒中收藏，用铜签点用，凡是眼中的各种疾病都能治疗。
淫羊藿（一两） 淡豆豉（四十九粒）
以上两味药加水一碗半煎至一碗，放置冷却，让病人一次性喝下，病即痊愈。
兰香子洗净晒干，每次用一粒，用筷子点大头，闭目就能感觉药在眼内团圆旋转，药力过后就不转了，一会儿，自然随着眼屎眼泪排出。如果翳膜在上面像鱼眼一样，再换一粒，以病情消退为限度。庐州彭知录名叫大辩，从番地传得此方，多次用来治病。
唐丞相李恭公扈从皇帝，在蜀中时每天患眼病，有时涩痛，有时生成翳膜，有时疼痛，有时看见黑花如豆子大小，连续不断数十个，有时看见像飞虫翅膀羽毛一样的东西，用百种方法治疗都不见效。僧人知深说：相公这个病是因为受了风毒，五脏实证就泻其子脏，虚证就补其母脏，母脏能令子脏实，子脏能令母脏虚，肾是肝的母脏，现在肾受风毒，所以导致肝虚，肝虚则眼中恍惚，五脏也是如此。香港脚、消中、消渴、各种风症等都是由肾虚引起的，地黄丸都主治这些病。

以上药物研成细末，不许接触铁器，炼蜜制成梧桐子大小的丸剂，空腹时用豆淋酒送服五十丸。豆淋酒的制法：黑豆半升，净选簸扬，炒至冒烟，用三升酒浸泡它，不用黑豆，只用此酒煮独活，这就是紫汤。
Treats the formation of corneal opacity (翳膜) in the eyes.
Sepiae Endoconcha (Cuttlebone, 乌鱼骨) (remove skin, finely ground), Equiseti Herba (Muo Zei, 木贼) (remove nodes, made into powder), Cinnabaris (Zhu Sha, 朱砂) (water-triturated, each 1 qian), Borax (Nan Peng Sha, 南硼砂) (size of four soap pods, finely ground).
The above four ingredients are ground together for three thousand times. Dissolve a small amount of beeswax in hot water, stir forty-nine times with a willow twig, add a small amount of Borneolum Syntheticum (Bing Pian, 冰片), more is better. Prepare pills as cakes on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month, about ○ large in diameter. Use one cake before sleep, place it inside the eye. Rinse with clean water in a cup early the next morning; what comes out is the disease pathogen. Use again before sleep; one cake can be used three times.
This is an eye medicine formula, originally from the Iron Soup Bottle family opposite the Imperial Ancestral Temple in the old capital.
Plukenetia Semen (Rui Ren, 蕤仁) (finely ground, wrapped in bamboo paper, pressed to remove oil), Xanthoceras Sorbifolium Seed (Wu Yi Ren, 芜苡仁) (fresh ones, finely ground, wrapped in bamboo paper, pressed to remove oil, both ingredients take forty-nine seeds each), Transparent Borax (Ru Zhi Da, size of a finger, finely ground, use more for grinding away opacity, less for red eyes), Natural Borneol (Sheng Long Nao, 生龙脑) (size of borax, finely ground, small amount).
The above four ingredients are ground evenly together. Sift sugar and white sugar (size of a finger) until extremely fine, must pass through silk gauze, then grind again with the previous medicines. Store in a silver-ceramic box. Apply with a copper stick. It treats all diseases of the eyes.
Epimedii Folium (Xian Ling Pi, 仙灵脾) (1 liang), Fermented Soybean (Dan Dou Chi, 淡豆豉) (forty-nine grains).
The above two ingredients are decocted in one and a half bowls of water until reduced to one bowl. Let it cool, and have the patient drink it all at once; the illness will recover immediately.
Perilla Fructus (Lan Xiang Zi, 兰香子) washed and dried. Use one grain each time. Touch the larger end with chopsticks. Close your eyes, and you will feel the medicine rotating roundly inside the eye. When the medicinal power passes, it stops rotating. Shortly after, it naturally discharges with eye discharge and tears. If the opacity is on top like a fish eye, change to another grain. Continue until the disease recedes. Peng Zhilu named Da Bian from Luzhou transmitted this formula from Fan regions and has treated many people with it.
Prime Minister Li Gonggong Hu Cong of the Tang Dynasty accompanied the emperor. While in Shu, he suffered from eye diseases daily: sometimes dryness and pain, sometimes formation of opacity, sometimes pain, sometimes seeing black spots the size of beans continuously dozens of times, or seeing things like flying insect wings. Hundreds of treatments were ineffective. Monk Zhishen said: "Your Excellency's illness is due to wind-toxin. For excess patterns in the five zang organs, drain the son organ; for deficiency patterns, tonify the mother organ. The mother organ can make the son organ full, and the son organ can make the mother organ empty. Kidney is the mother of Liver. Now the Kidney is affected by wind-toxin, causing Liver deficiency. Liver deficiency leads to visual hallucinations/dizziness. The same applies to the five zang organs. Podagra, Xiao Zhong, Xiao Ke, and various wind syndromes are all caused by Kidney deficiency. Dihuang Wan treats them all."
Rehmanniae Radix Preparata (Sheng Gan Di Huang, 生干地黄) (1 jin), Rehmanniae Radix Preparata (Shu Gan Di Huang, 熟干地黄) (1 jin), Dendrobii Caulis (Shi Hu, 石斛) (remove seedlings), Aurantii Fructus Pericarpium (Zhi Ke, 枳壳) (bran-fried, remove pith), Saposhnikoviae Radix (Fang Feng, 防风) (remove radicle, each 4 liang).
Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix (Niu Xi, 牛膝) (soaked in wine), Armeniacae Semen Amarum (Xing Ren, 杏仁) (remove skin and tips, bran-fried yellow, made into powder, put in a clay vessel, grind to remove oil).
Grind the above into fine powder. Do not allow contact with iron vessels. Refine honey and make pills the size of paulownia seeds. Take fifty pills on an empty stomach with Dou Lin Jiu (Bean-Dripping Wine). Method for Dou Lin Jiu: Half a sheng of black beans, cleaned and winnowed, fried until smoke rises. Soak in three sheng of wine. Do not use the beans, only use this wine to decoct Angelicae Dahuricae Radix (Du Huo, 独活); this is called Zi Tang (Purple Decoction).
