For Heart deficiency and accumulated heat in the gastrointestinal tract, flourishing Heart Fire, or insufficient Heart Fire, Mudanpi is the Sovereign herb. For those mentioned as Sovereign herbs above, their dosage follows the dosage of Gan Dihuang (Raw Rehmannia Root), which serves as the Minister herb according to the example, with the same dosage. Some say: Bawei Wan taken for a long time can make one an immortal. Now, when old people take it, they have abdominal pain; when young people take it, they develop sores; or there is frequent urination, or urinary retention, or blurred vision, or slippery Essence leakage. Why is this? The eight ingredients are not flawed in system or regulation; it is not the fault of the formula. Now, merchants treat Rehmannia with Alum and Fermented Soybean Paste, soaking and steaming to change its nature. Gan Dihuang is naturally cool, and adding the cold nature of Alum causes abdominal pain in the elderly. Fuzi often weighs 3-4 qian, which is leaked and adulterated Cezidu (side root), which is very hot and toxic, causing sores in the young. Frequent urination is due to raw Zexie. Urinary retention is due to Shanzhuyu not having the core removed. Now, the eight ingredients are listed below:
Dihuang (Raw, remove soil; floating in water is Tianhuang, middle is Renhuang, sinking is Dihuang. First steam Dihuang for a long time, Tianhuang and Renhuang crush to take juice, take steamed Dihuang... Soap Pod Thorns... Yu (wine-soaked good... Danpi (combine. Take it.)
