上 咀。每服五、六钱，水一钟，入盐一捻，煎七分，食前温服。一方加茯苓、甘草。
益志汤 治肾经亏损，遗精白浊，四肢烦倦，时发蒸热等证。

汗，浓肠胃。见《肘后》，甚验。

上用米醋二升浸一宿，漉出曝干，再于原醋内拌匀，炒令紫色，焙干为末，稀糊丸，桐
子大。每服三、五十丸，空心食前，温酒、盐汤、米汤、白汤任下。
《局方》大已寒丸 治脏腑虚寒，心腹 痛，肠鸣泄泻，自利自汗，米谷不化
，手足厥冷，阴盛阳衰等证。

水煮面糊为丸，桐子大。每服二、三十丸，食前米饮下。
《元戎》大已寒丸 治诸沉寒冷秘等证。

上为末，醋糊丸，桐子大。每服三、五十丸，米饮下，空心食前，日二服。无所忌。
（海藏）巳寒丸 此丸不僭上而阳生于下。治阴证服四逆辈，胸中发躁而渴者，或数日大
便秘，小便赤涩，服此丸，上不燥，大小便自利。

上为末，米糊丸，桐子大。空心温水下五、七十丸，或八、九十丸，食前亦可。酒醋糊

十补丸 治肾脏虚冷，面黑足寒，耳聋膝软，小便不利等证。

《金匮》当归生姜羊肉汤 治寒疝腹中痛，及胁痛里急者。

上三味，以水八升，煮取三升，温服七合，日三服。若寒多者，加生姜成一斤；痛多而
呕者，加橘皮二两，白术一两。如加生姜，亦须加水五升，煮取三升二合服之。
（丹溪）肾气丸 治诸疝痛。

上为末，萝卜汁丸，桐子大。盐汤下五、七十丸。
《百选》胡芦巴丸 治小肠气 蟠肠气，奔豚，疝气，偏坠阴肿，小腹有形如卵，上下
来去，痛不可忍，或绞结绕脐攻刺，呕吐者。

（东垣）丁香楝实丸 治寒疝气血留滞。

以上 咀，用好酒三升同煮，酒尽焙干为末，每药末一两，入没药，丁香、木香
（各五分） 全蝎（十三个） 玄胡索（五钱）。
上俱为末，拌匀，酒糊丸，桐子大。每服三、五十丸，加至百丸，空心温酒送下。
苦楝丸 治奔豚小腹痛，神效。
川苦楝子 茴香（各二两） 附子（一两，炮，去皮脐）
上三味，用酒三升，同煮尽为度，焙干为末，每药末一两，入玄胡索（二钱，一作五钱）
全蝎（十八个，炒） 丁香（十八粒。）
俱为末，和匀，酒糊丸，桐子大。温酒下五十丸，空心服。如痛甚，煎当归酒下。
《良方》三层茴香丸 治肾与膀胱俱虚，邪气搏结不散，遂成寒疝，脐腹疼痛，阴丸偏
大，肤囊壅肿，有妨行步，或瘙痒不止，时出黄水，浸成疮疡，或长怪肉，或外肾肿胀，冷
硬如石，日以渐大，须温导阳气，渐退寒邪，补虚消疝，暖养肾经。凡一应小肠气寒疝之疾
，久新不过三料。
第一料∶
舶上茴香（用盐半两，同炒焦黄，和盐秤用一两，连下共重四两） 川楝子（炮，去核）
沙参（洗） 木香（各一两。）
上为细末，米糊丸，桐子大。每服二、三十丸，空心温酒或盐汤下，日三服。小病一料
可安，病深者，一料才尽，便可用第二料。
第二料∶
如前方加荜茇（一两） 槟榔（五钱）
上六味，共重五两半，根据前糊丸，服如前。若未愈，再服第三料
第三料∶
如前方加白茯苓（佳者，四两） 附子（炮，去皮脐，或五钱或一两）
上八味，共重十两，丸服如前，渐加至三、四十丸。凡小肠气频发及三十年者，或大如
栲栳者，皆可消散，神效。
夺命丹 治远年近日小肠疝气，偏坠搐痛，脐下胀痛，以致闷乱，及外肾肿硬，日渐滋
长，阴间湿痒等证。
吴茱萸（拣净，一斤，分四分用，酒、醋、盐汤、童便各浸一宿，焙干） 泽泻（净片，二两，酒浸一宿）
上为末，酒糊丸，桐子大。每服五十丸，食前盐酒或盐汤下。
《良方》夺命丹 方在妇人。治瘀血入胞，胀满难下。
（万氏）夺命丹 方在痘疹。治痘疮倒陷，解毒发痘。
《外科》夺命丹 方在外科。治疔疮发背，恶毒恶证，有夺命之功。
《局方》二气丹 治虚寒积冷，小便不禁，老人虚人尺脉微弱患此者。
硫黄（制，研细） 肉桂（各二钱半） 干姜（炮） 朱砂（研为衣，各二钱） 附子（制，半两）
上以面糊丸，桐子大。每服二十丸，空心盐汤下。
《局方》半硫丸 治高年冷秘虚秘，及 癖冷气。《简易》曰∶此润剂也。
半夏（汤泡七次，焙干为末） 硫黄（明净者，研极细，用柳木槌子杀过）
上等分，以生姜汁打糊丸，桐子大。每服五、七十丸，用无灰酒或生姜汤任下。
养正丹 治上盛下虚眩运，此药升降阴阳，及咳逆翻胃，霍乱吐泻，中风涎潮，不省人
事，伤寒阴盛，唇青自汗。
硫黄（为末） 黑锡（熔净） 水银 朱砂（研，各一两）
上将锡熔化，入硫末，渐入渐搅为末，再入水银同擂。如硬，再于火上微 ，又擂匀放
冷，研极细末，糯米糊丸，绿豆大。每服三十丸，空心盐汤下。
《局方》黑锡丹 治痰气壅塞，上盛下虚，肾水亏竭，心火炎盛，或一应下虚阴寒，真
头痛等证，及妇人血海久冷无子，赤白带下。
黑锡（去滓，二两，炒末） 硫黄（二两） 肉桂（五钱） 附子（炮） 木香 沉香 舶茴香 故纸
阳起石（水飞） 葫芦巴（酒浸炒） 肉豆蔻（面裹煨） 金铃子（蒸，去皮核，各一两）
上用新铁铫将锡化开，下硫黄末，提起，以木杵擂极细，放地上退火毒，同余药研一日
，至黑光色为度，酒糊丸，桐子大，阴干入布袋内擦令光莹，每服四十丸，空心姜盐汤下，
女人艾枣汤下。
《局方》红丸子 和脾胃，消宿食，去膨胀，治大人小儿脾胃之证，极有神效。
京三棱（浸软切片） 蓬术（煨） 青皮 橘红（各五斤） 干姜（炮） 胡椒（各三斤）
上为末，用醋糊丸，桐子大，矾红为衣。每服三十丸，食后姜汤送下。小儿临时加减与
服丸，治饮食所伤，中脘痞满，服之应手而愈。妊妇恶阻呕吐，全不纳食，百药不治者，惟
此最妙，可佐二陈汤服之。但人疑其堕胎，必不信服，每易名用之，时有神效；但恐妊妇偶
尔损动，未免归咎此药，是当酌而防之。
椒囊法 辟一切瘴疾时气，风寒时气。
红川椒（去闭口者）
以绛纱囊贮椒两许，悬佩身傍近里衣处，则一切邪气不能侵犯。
将药材研成细末，用大枣一百枚，与生姜八两一同煮烂，取枣肉捣碎制成丸药，大小如梧桐子。每次服用七、八十丸，空腹或进食前，用白开水送服。按语：此丸不宜使用大枣，若只用姜汁煮面糊来制丸效果更好。
《澹寮》四神丸：治疗脾肾泄泻，清晨大便溏薄。
破故纸（炒制，四两） 肉豆蔻（二两） 木香（半两） 小茴香（炒制，一两）
将上述药材研成细末，用姜汁煮枣肉为粘合剂制成丸药，大小如梧桐子。用白开水送服。
《医林》四神丸：治疗寒疝引起的胀痛不止。
荜澄茄 木香（各半两） 吴茱萸（一半用酒浸，一半用醋浸） 香附（各一两）
将上述药材研成细末，用面糊制成丸药，大小如梧桐子。每次服用七、八十丸，空腹时用盐汤或乳香葱汤任意送服。
《集要》四神丸：方剂记载在补阵章节。治疗小便频数且无法控制。
五味子丸：治疗下元虚寒，命门火衰不能温煦脾土，导致命门不暖、关门不固，称为肾泄，也称为脾肾泄。

上述药材用汤浸泡蒸饼为粘合剂制成丸药，大小如梧子。每次服用七、八十丸，进食前用白滚汤送服。
（陈氏）肉豆蔻丸：方剂记载在小儿科章节。治疗肠滑导致的泻痢。
《济生》诃梨勒丸：治疗大肠虚冷，泄泻不止，腹部和胁部牵引疼痛，饮食不消化。

《三因》桂香丸：治疗脏腑虚寒，被风寒邪气搏结，导致冷滑注下无法控制，病情危重者多次服用有效。

（杨氏）萆薢厘清饮：治疗真元不足，下焦虚寒，或者因服用过多寒凉刮削药物，导致小便白浊，频数无度，清澈如膏糊等症状。
益智仁 川萆薢 石菖蒲 乌药（各等分）
将药材切碎。每次服用五、六钱，加水一钟，放入一捻盐，煎至七分，进食前温服。另一配方加茯苓、甘草。
益志汤：治疗肾经亏损，遗精白浊，四肢烦闷疲倦，时常发作蒸热等症状。

《局方》安肾丸：治疗肾经积冷，下元衰惫，视力昏暗耳鸣，四肢无力，夜间梦遗，小便频数，脐腹拘急疼痛，食少体瘦，精神困倦健忘。常服可壮元阳，益肾水。

小安肾丸：治疗肾气虚乏，下元冷惫，夜间多尿，体瘦神倦，腰膝沉重，泄泻肠鸣，眼目昏暗，牙齿蛀痛。

用水煮面糊制成丸药，大小如梧桐子。每次服用二、三十丸，进食前用米饮送服。
《元戎》大已寒丸：治疗各种沉寒冷秘等症状。

将上述药材研成细末，用醋糊制成丸药，大小如梧桐子。每次服用三、五十丸，用米饮送服，空腹进食前，每日两次。没有禁忌。
（海藏）巳寒丸：此丸不上僭而阳气生于下。治疗阴证患者服用四逆汤类药后，胸中烦躁口渴者，或者数日大便秘结，小便赤涩，服用此丸，上部不燥，大小便自然通利。

将上述药材研成细末，用米糊制成丸药，大小如梧桐子。空腹时用温水送服五、七十丸，或八、九十丸，进食前服用也可以。用酒醋糊制丸也可以。海藏说：巳寒丸中的前五味药虽然性热，但配合芍药、茴香等润剂引导下行，阴得阳而化，所以大小便自然通畅，如同得到春和之阳，冰雪自然消融。
十补丸：治疗肾脏虚冷，面色黑足寒，耳聋膝软，小便不利等症状。

用炼蜜制成丸药，大小如梧桐子。每次服用六、七十丸，用盐汤送服。
《百选》十补丸：治疗小肠寒疝。
附子（一大枚，制过） 胡芦巴 木香 巴戟天 川楝肉 玄胡索 官桂 荜澄茄 大茴香 破故纸（炒制，各一两）
将上述药材研成细末，用酒煮糯米粉糊制成丸药，大小如梧桐子，朱砂为衣。空腹时用酒送服五十丸。
《集成》神应散：治疗寒疝及其他诸疝，心腹痛不可忍受，散气开郁。
玄胡索 胡椒 小茴香（等分）
将上述药材研成细末。每次服用二钱，用酒调服。
《金匮》当归生姜羊肉汤：治疗寒疝腹中痛，以及胁痛里急者。
当归（三两） 生姜（五两） 羊肉（一斤）
以上三味药，用水八升，煮取三升，温服七合，每日三次。如果寒气重者，加生姜成一斤；如果疼痛多且呕吐者，加橘皮二两，白术一两。如果加了生姜，也必须加水五升，煮取三升二合服用。
（丹溪）肾气丸：治疗各种疝痛。
小茴香（炒制） 破故纸（炒制） 吴茱萸（盐炒，各五钱） 胡芦巴（七钱半） 木香（三钱半）
将上述药材研成细末，用萝卜汁制成丸药，大小如梧桐子。用盐汤送服五、七十丸。
《百选》胡芦巴丸：治疗小肠气、蟠肠气，奔豚，疝气，偏坠阴肿，小腹有形如卵，上下往来，痛不可忍，或者绞结绕脐攻刺，呕吐者。
胡芦巴（炒制，一斤） 大巴戟（炒制） 川乌（炮制，去皮，各六两） 川楝子（炒制，十八两） 茴香（二十两） 吴茱萸（汤浸七次，炒制，十两）
将上述药材研成细末，用酒糊制成丸药，大小如梧桐子。每次服用十五丸至二十丸，空腹时用温酒送服。
（东垣）丁香楝实丸：治疗寒疝气血留滞。
当归（酒洗） 附子（炮制） 川楝肉 茴香（各一两）
以上药材切碎，用好酒三升同煮，酒尽后焙干研成细末，每药末一两，加入没药、丁香、木香（各五分）、全蝎（十三个）、玄胡索（五钱）。
将以上所有药材研成细末，拌匀，用酒糊制成丸药，大小如梧桐子。每次服用三、五十丸，加至一百丸，空腹时用温酒送服。
苦楝丸：治疗奔豚小腹痛，神效。
川苦楝子 茴香（各二两） 附子（一两，炮制，去皮和脐）
以上三味药，用酒三升，同煮至酒尽为止，焙干研成细末，每药末一两，加入玄胡索（二钱，一作五钱）、全蝎（十八个，炒制）、丁香（十八粒）。
全部研成细末，和匀，用酒糊制成丸药，大小如梧桐子。温酒送服五十丸，空腹服用。如果疼痛剧烈，煎当归酒送服。
《良方》三层茴香丸：治疗肾与膀胱俱虚，邪气搏结不散，遂成寒疝，脐腹疼痛，阴丸偏大，肤囊壅肿，妨碍行走，或者瘙痒不止，时常流出黄水，浸成疮疡，或者长怪肉，或者外肾肿胀，冷硬如石，日以渐大，须温导阳气，逐渐退除寒邪，补虚消疝，暖养肾经。凡一切小肠气寒疝之疾，新旧不过三料即可治愈。
第一料：
舶上茴香（用盐半两，同炒焦黄，和盐秤用一两，连下共重四两） 川楝子（炮制，去核） 沙参（洗） 木香（各一两。）
将上述药材研成细末，用米糊制成丸药，大小如梧桐子。每次服用二、三十丸，空腹时用温酒或盐汤送服，每日三次。小病一料可安，病深者，一料刚吃完，便可用第二料。
第二料：
如前方加荜茇（一两） 槟榔（五钱）
以上六味药，共重五两半，根据前法糊丸，服用方法同上。如果未愈，再服第三料。
第三料：
如前方加白茯苓（佳者，四两） 附子（炮制，去皮和脐，或五钱或一两）
以上八味药，共重十两，丸服方法同上，逐渐加量至三、四十丸。凡小肠气频发及三十年者，或者大如栲栳者，皆可消散，神效。
夺命丹：治疗远年近日小肠疝气，偏坠搐痛，脐下胀痛，以致闷乱，以及外肾肿硬，日渐滋长，阴间湿痒等症状。
吴茱萸（拣净，一斤，分四分用，酒、醋、盐汤、童便各浸一宿，焙干） 泽泻（净片，二两，酒浸一宿）
将上述药材研成细末，用酒糊制成丸药，大小如梧桐子。每次服用五十丸，进食前用盐酒或盐汤送服。
《良方》夺命丹：方剂记载在妇人科章节。治疗瘀血入胞，胀满难下。
（万氏）夺命丹：方剂记载在痘疹章节。治疗痘疮倒陷，解毒发痘。
《外科》夺命丹：方剂记载在外科学章节。治疗疔疮发背，恶毒恶证，有夺命之功。
《局方》二气丹：治疗虚寒积冷，小便不禁，老人虚人尺脉微弱患此病者。
硫黄（制过，研细） 肉桂（各二钱半） 干姜（炮制） 朱砂（研为衣，各二钱） 附子（制过，半两）
用面糊制成丸药，大小如梧桐子。每次服用二十丸，空腹时用盐汤送服。
《局方》半硫丸：治疗高年冷秘虚秘，以及癖冷气。《简易》说：这是润剂。
半夏（汤泡七次，焙干为末） 硫黄（明净者，研极细，用柳木槌子杀过）
以上等分，用生姜汁打糊制成丸药，大小如梧桐子。每次服用五、七十丸，用无灰酒或生姜汤任意送服。
养正丹：治疗上盛下虚眩晕，此药升降阴阳，以及咳逆翻胃，霍乱吐泻，中风涎潮，不省人事，伤寒阴盛，唇青自汗。
硫黄（为末） 黑锡（熔净） 水银 朱砂（研，各一两）
先将锡熔化，加入硫末，渐渐加入渐渐搅拌成末，再加入水银同擂。如果太硬，再在火上微炒，又擂匀放冷，研极细末，用糯米糊制成丸药，绿豆大。每次服用三十丸，空腹时用盐汤送服。
《局方》黑锡丹：治疗痰气壅塞，上盛下虚，肾水亏竭，心火炎盛，或一应下虚阴寒，真头痛等症状，以及妇人血海久冷无子，赤白带下。
黑锡（去滓，二两，炒末） 硫黄（二两） 肉桂（五钱） 附子（炮制） 木香 沉香 舶茴香 故纸 阳起石（水飞） 葫芦巴（酒浸炒） 肉豆蔻（面裹煨） 金铃子（蒸，去皮核，各一两）
上用新铁铫将锡化开，下硫黄末，提起，以木杵擂极细，放地上退火毒，同余药研一日，至黑光色为度，酒糊制成丸药，大小如梧桐子，阴干入布袋内擦令光莹，每次服用四十丸，空腹时用姜盐汤送服，女人用艾枣汤送服。
《局方》红丸子：和脾胃，消宿食，去膨胀，治疗大人小儿脾胃之证，极有神效。
京三棱（浸软切片） 蓬术（煨） 青皮 橘红（各五斤） 干姜（炮制） 胡椒（各三斤）
将上述药材研成细末，用醋糊制成丸药，大小如梧桐子，矾红为衣。每次服用三十丸，食后用姜汤送下。小儿临时加减与服丸，治疗饮食所伤，中脘痞满，服之应手而愈。妊妇恶阻呕吐，全不纳食，百药不治者，惟此最妙，可佐二陈汤服之。但人疑其堕胎，必不信服，每易名用之，时有神效；但恐妊妇偶尔损动，未免归咎此药，是当酌而防之。
Powder the herbs, use one hundred large dates (Ziziphus jujuba), boil together with eight taels of fresh ginger (Shengjiang) until soft, take the date flesh, pound into pills, size of Sophora japonica seeds. Take seventy to eighty pills each time, before meals or on an empty stomach, swallow with plain boiled water. Yilin's Four Spirits Pill (Yilin Sishen Wan): Treats cold hernia with continuous distending pain.

Powder the above ingredients, use flour paste to make pills, size of Sophora japonica seeds. Take seventy to eighty pills each time, on an empty stomach, swallow with salt water or frankincense and scallion soup as preferred.
Jiyao's Four Spirits Pill (Jiyao Sishen Wan): Formula recorded in the Tonification Section. Treats frequent and incontinent urination.
Schisandra Pill (Wuweizi Wan): Treats deficiency-cold of the lower origin, fire failing to warm earth, leading to warming failure of the Gate of Life (Mingmen) and closure failure of the gate, named Kidney Diarrhea (Shenxie), also called Spleen-Kidney Diarrhea.

Heleli Pill from Jisheng (Jisheng Helilei Wan): Treats large intestine deficiency-cold, continuous diarrhea, pulling pain in abdomen and hypochondrium, indigestion.

Guixiang Pill from San Yin (Sanyin Guixiang Wan): Treats deficiency-cold of viscera, combined with wind-cold pathogen, causing cold slippery downward discharge uncontrollably, effective repeatedly for critical cases.

Bixie Liqing Drink from Yang Shi (Yang Shi Bixie Liqing Yin): Treats insufficiency of true origin, deficiency-cold of lower jiao, or excessive intake of cold-cooling purgatives, leading to white turbid urine, frequent and unlimited urination, clear like paste, etc.

Anshen Pill from Bureau Formulas (Ju Fang Anshen Wan): Treats accumulated cold in kidney meridian, exhaustion of lower origin, dim vision and tinnitus, weakness of limbs, nocturnal emission in dreams, frequent urination, cramping pain in navel and abdomen, poor appetite and emaciation, mental fatigue and forgetfulness. Regular use strengthens primal yang and benefits kidney water.

Small Anshen Pill (Xiao Anshen Wan): Treats deficiency of kidney qi, cold exhaustion of lower origin, frequent night urination, emaciation and mental fatigue, heavy waist and knees, diarrhea and borborygmus, dim eyes, tooth decay pain.
Toosendan fruit (Chuanlianzi, one jin, boiled with Cyperus rhizome and Sichuan aconite one jin each, plus four taels of salt and four sheng of water, until dry, remove Cyperus and aconite, take Toosendan, slice and roast) Small fennel (Xiaohui, eleven taels) Prepared Rehmannia root (Shudi, eight taels) Sichuan peppercorn (Chuanjiao, four taels, remove closed-mouth ones, lightly stir-fry to sweat)

Xiao Yihan Pill from Yuanrong (Yuanrong Xiao Yihan Pill): Also known as Qiangzhong Pill. Treats accumulated cold in spleen-stomach, profuse watery diarrhea, fatigue, lack of appetite. Stops spontaneous sweating after eating, thickens intestines and stomach. Recorded in Zhouhou Fang, very effective.
Mugwort leaf (Aiye, four taels) Atractylodes lancea rhizome (Cangzhu, one tael, Chao) Evodia fruit (Wuzhuyu, Chao) Tangerine peel (Chenpi, Chao, two taels each)
Soak the above ingredients in two sheng of rice vinegar overnight, drain and sun-dry, mix back in original vinegar, stir-fry until purple, bake dry and powder, use thin paste to make pills, size of Sophora japonica seeds. Take thirty to fifty pills each time, before meals on an empty stomach, swallow with warm wine, salt water, rice soup, or plain boiled water as preferred.
Da Yihan Pill from Bureau Formulas (Ju Fang Da Yihan Pill): Treats deficiency-cold of viscera, heart and abdominal pain, borborygmus and diarrhea, spontaneous discharge and sweating, undigested food, cold extremities, yin excess and yang deficiency, etc.

Da Yihan Pill from Yuanrong (Yuanrong Da Yihan Pill): Treats various sinking cold and constipation conditions.

Powder the above ingredients, use vinegar paste to make pills, size of Sophora japonica seeds. Take thirty to fifty pills each time, swallow with rice drink, on an empty stomach before meals, twice a day. No taboos.
Yihan Pill from Haizang (Haizang Yihan Pill): This pill does not cause upward rebellion but generates yang from below. Treats yin syndrome patients who, after taking Sizni category medicines, experience chest irritability and thirst, or severe constipation for several days with red and scanty urine. Taking this pill prevents upper dryness and naturally promotes bowel and bladder movement.

Haizang said: Although the first five herbs in Yihan are hot, guided down by moistening agents like Peony and Fennel, yin transforms upon receiving yang, thus bowel and bladder movements become natural, like ice melting under spring sunshine.
Shibu Pill (Shibu Wan): Treats kidney deficiency-cold, dark face and cold feet, deafness and weak knees, difficult urination, etc.

Prepared aconite root (Fuzi, one large piece, prepared) Legume seed (Huluba) Aucklandia root (Muxiang) Morinda officinalis root (Bajitian) Toosendan pulp (Chuanlian Rou) Corydalis rhizome (Yanhusuo) Official cinnamon (Guangui) Litsea cubeba fruit (Bichengqie) Large fennel (Dahuixiang) Psoralea corylifolia seed (Pogu Zhi, Chao, one tael each)
Powder the above ingredients, use wine-boiled glutinous rice flour paste to make pills, size of Sophora japonica seeds, coat with Cinnabar. On an empty stomach, swallow fifty pills with wine.
Shenyingsan from Jicheng (Jicheng Shenyingsan): Treats cold hernia and other hernias, unbearable heart and abdominal pain, disperses qi and opens depression.
Corydalis rhizome (Yanhusuo) Black pepper fruit (Hujiao) Small fennel (Xiaohuixiang, equal parts)
Powder the above ingredients. Take two qian each time, mix with wine and swallow.
Danggui Shengyang Lamb Soup from Jingui (Jingui Danggui Shengjiang Yangrou Tang): Treats cold hernia abdominal pain, and hypochondriac pain with internal tension.
Angelica sinensis root (Danggui, three taels) Fresh ginger (Shengjiang, five taels) Lamb meat (Yangrou, one jin)
The above three ingredients, add eight sheng of water, decoct to obtain three sheng, take seven he of warm liquid, three times a day. If cold is severe, add ginger to one jin; if pain is severe with vomiting, add tangerine peel two taels and Atractylodes macrocephala rhizone one tael. If adding ginger, also add five sheng of water, decoct to obtain three sheng and two he, and take.
Shenqi Pill from Danxi (Danxi Shenqi Wan): Treats various hernia pains.
Small fennel (Xiaohuixiang, Chao) Psoralea corylifolia seed (Pogu Zhi, Chao) Evodia fruit (Wuzhuyu, salt stir-fried, five qian each) Legume seed (Huluba, seven qian half) Aucklandia root (Muxiang, three qian half)
Powder the above ingredients, use radish juice to make pills, size of Sophora japonica seeds. Swallow fifty to seventy pills with salt water.
Huluba Pill from Baixuan (Baixuan Huluba Wan): Treats small intestine qi, coiling intestine qi, running piglet, hernia, unilateral testicular swelling, palpable mass in lower abdomen like an egg moving up and down, unbearable pain, or twisting pain around navel with stabbing sensation, vomiting.
Legume seed (Huluba, Chao, one jin) Large Morinda root (Dabajiji, Chao) Sichuan aconite (Chuanwu, processed, skin removed, six taels each) Toosendan fruit (Chuanlianzi, Chao, eighteen taels) Fennel fruit (Huixiang, twenty taels) Evodia fruit (Wuzhuyu, soaked in water seven times, Chao, ten taels)
Powder the above ingredients, use wine paste to make pills, size of Sophora japonica seeds. Take fifteen to twenty pills each time, on an empty stomach, swallow with warm wine.
Dingxiang Lianshi Pill from Dongyuan (Dongyuan Dingxiang Lianshi Wan): Treats cold hernia with qi and blood stagnation.
Angelica sinensis root (Danggui, washed with wine) Prepared aconite root (Fuzi, processed) Toosendan pulp (Chuanlian Rou) Fennel fruit (Huixiang, one tael each)
Cut the above ingredients, boil together with three sheng of good wine until wine is exhausted, bake dry and powder. For every one tael of herb powder, add Myrrh, Clove, Aucklandia root (five fen each), Scorpion (thirteen pieces), Corydalis rhizome (five qian).
Powder all ingredients, mix well, use wine paste to make pills, size of Sophora japonica seeds. Take thirty to fifty pills each time, increase to one hundred pills, swallow with warm wine on an empty stomach.
Kulian Pill (Kulian Wan): Treats running piglet lower abdominal pain, extremely effective.
Sichuan Kulian fruit (Chuan Kulianzi) Fennel fruit (Huixiang, two taels each) Prepared aconite root (Fuzi, one tael, processed, skin and umbilicus removed)
The above three ingredients, use three sheng of wine, boil together until wine is exhausted, bake dry and powder. For every one tael of herb powder, add Corydalis rhizome (two qian, alternatively five qian), Scorpion (eighteen pieces, Chao), Clove (eighteen grains).
Powder all, mix evenly, use wine paste to make pills, size of Sophora japonica seeds. Swallow fifty pills with warm wine, take on an empty stomach. If pain is severe, decoct Angelica sinensis wine and swallow.
Three-Layer Huixiang Pill from Liangfang (Liangfang San Ceng Huixiang Wan): Treats deficiency of both kidney and bladder, pathogenic qi binding and not dispersing, resulting in cold hernia, navel and abdominal pain, enlarged unilateral testicle, swollen scrotum hindering walking, or unceasing itching with yellow fluid discharge causing sores, or growth of abnormal flesh, or external genital swelling cold and hard as stone, gradually enlarging daily. Must warm and guide yang qi, gradually dispel cold pathogen, tonify deficiency and dissipate hernia, warm and nourish kidney meridian. For any small intestine qi cold hernia disease, old or new, three doses are sufficient.
First dose:
Imported fennel (Bo Shang Huixiang, stir-fry with half tael of salt until scorched yellow, weigh one tael including salt, total weight four taels) Toosendan fruit (Chuanlianzi, processed, pitted) Codonopsis root (Shashen, washed) Aucklandia root (Muxiang, one tael each)
Powder the above ingredients finely, use rice paste to make pills, size of Sophora japonica seeds. Take twenty to thirty pills each time, on an empty stomach, swallow with warm wine or salt water, three times a day. Minor illness can be cured with one dose; for deep-seated illness, start second dose immediately after finishing the first.
Second dose:
Add Long pepper fruit (Bibo, one tael) Areca nut (Binglang, five qian) to the previous formula.
The above six ingredients, total weight five taels and a half, make pills with paste as before, take as before. If not healed, take third dose.
Third dose:
Add Poria (Baifuling, best quality, four taels) Prepared aconite root (Fuzi, processed, skin and umbilicus removed, five qian or one tael) to the previous formula.
The above eight ingredients, total weight ten taels, make pills and take as before, gradually increase to thirty to forty pills. For frequent small intestine qi attacks lasting thirty years, or masses as large as a basket, all can be dissipated, extremely effective.
Duoming Pill (Duoming Dan): Treats long-standing or recent small intestine hernia, unilateral dragging and spasmodic pain, distending pain below navel causing confusion, external genital swelling and hardness gradually increasing, damp itching in genital area, etc.
Evodia fruit (Wuzhuyu, selected clean, one jin, divided into four parts, soaked overnight in wine, vinegar, salt water, and child's urine respectively, then baked dry) Alisma rhizome (Zexie, clean slices, two taels, soaked in wine overnight)
Powder the above ingredients, use wine paste to make pills, size of Sophora japonica seeds. Take fifty pills each time, before meals, swallow with salt wine or salt water.
Duoming Pill from Liangfang (Liangfang Duoming Dan): Formula recorded in Gynecology. Treats blood stasis entering uterus, fullness and difficulty in expulsion.
Duoming Pill from Wan Shi (Wan Shi Duoming Dan): Formula recorded in Smallpox section. Treats inverted smallpox, detoxifies and promotes eruption.
Duoming Pill from Waike (Waike Duoming Dan): Formula recorded in Surgery. Treats carbuncles and back sores, malignant toxic conditions, has life-saving power.
Erqi Pill from Bureau Formulas (Ju Fang Erqi Dan): Treats deficiency-cold and accumulated cold, urinary incontinence, in elderly or deficient persons with weak chi pulse.
Prepared sulfur (Liuhuang, prepared, ground fine) Cinnamon twig (Rougui, two qian half each) Dried ginger (Ganjiang, processed) Cinnabar (Zhusha, ground for coating, two qian each) Prepared aconite root (Fuzi, prepared, half tael)
Use flour paste to make pills, size of Sophora japonica seeds. Take twenty pills each time, on an empty stomach, swallow with salt water.
Banshu Pill from Bureau Formulas (Ju Fang Banshu Wan): Treats cold constipation and deficiency constipation in the elderly, and phlegm-cold accumulation. Jianyi says: This is a moistening agent.
Pinellia tuber (Banxia, soaked in water seven times, baked dry and powdered) Sulfur (Liuhuang, pure and clean, ground extremely fine, killed with willow wood pestle)
Equal parts, use ginger juice to make paste and pills, size of Sophora japonica seeds. Take fifty to seventy pills each time, swallow with non-intoxicating wine or ginger soup as preferred.
Yangzheng Pill (Yangzheng Dan): Treats dizziness from excess above and deficiency below, this medicine regulates ascending and descending of yin and yang, also cough and reverse flow of stomach, cholera vomiting and diarrhea, stroke with salivary flooding, unconsciousness, typhoid with yin excess, blue lips and spontaneous sweating.
Sulfur (Liuhuang, powdered) Black tin (Heixin, melted clean) Mercury (Shuiyin) Cinnabar (Zhusha, ground, one tael each)
Melt tin first, add sulfur powder, gradually add and stir into powder, then add mercury and grind together. If too hard, heat slightly on fire, grind again until uniform, cool, grind to extremely fine powder, use glutinous rice paste to make pills, size of mung bean. Take thirty pills each time, on an empty stomach, swallow with salt water.
Heixin Pill from Bureau Formulas (Ju Fang Heixin Dan): Treats phlegm-qi obstruction, excess above and deficiency below, kidney water depletion, heart fire blazing, or any lower deficiency yin-cold, true headache, etc., and women with long-term cold in blood sea causing infertility, red and white leukorrhea.
Black tin (Heixin, remove impurities, two taels, stir-fried and powdered) Sulfur (Liuhuang, two taels) Cinnamon twig (Rougui, five qian) Prepared aconite root (Fuzi, processed) Aucklandia root (Muxiang) Agarwood (Chenxiang) Imported fennel (Bo Huixiang) Psoralea seed (Guzhi) Actinolith (Yangqishi, water floated) Legume seed (Huluba, wine-soaked and stir-fried) Nutmeg (Roudoukou, wrapped in flour and baked) Melia toosendan fruit (Jinlingzi, steamed, skin and core removed, one tael each)
Melt tin in a new iron pot, add sulfur powder, lift and grind extremely fine with wooden pestle, place on ground to remove fire toxicity, grind together with remaining herbs for one day until black and glossy, use wine paste to make pills, size of Sophora japonica seeds, dry in shade, put in cloth bag and rub until shiny. Take forty pills each time, on an empty stomach, swallow with ginger-salt water, women swallow with mugwort-date soup.
Hongwanzi Pill from Bureau Formulas (Ju Fang Hongwanzi Pill): Harmonizes spleen and stomach, eliminates retained food, removes distension, treats spleen-stomach conditions in adults and children, extremely effective.

Powder the above ingredients, use vinegar paste to make pills, size of Sophora japonica seeds, coat with alum-red. Take thirty pills each time, after meals, send down with ginger soup. For children, adjust dosage temporarily, treat injury from diet, epigastric fullness, effective immediately. For pregnant women with morning sickness vomiting, unable to retain food, untreatable by hundred medicines, this is best, can be taken with Erchen Tang. But people suspect it causes abortion and refuse to take it, often changing its name to use it, sometimes with miraculous effect; but fear that pregnant women might occasionally suffer damage, inevitably blaming this medicine, so one should consider and prevent this.
Jiaonang Method (Jiaonang Fa): Ward off all miasma diseases and seasonal qi, wind-cold seasonal qi.
Red Sichuan peppercorn (Hong Chuanjiao, remove closed-mouth ones)
