温湿袭膀胱。阴茎肤囊浮肿作痛。 又方。牡蛎大黄（煨）木香各一钱五分。水煎服。得利

小麦百粒煎服。治自汗盗汗。 又方。牡蛎（ ）研末。醋调成丸。再 通红。取出研细。

腥）海藻（洗去盐）栝蒌根商陆根（熬）葶苈子各等分。为散每服方寸匕。白汤调下。治大
病瘥
后。腰以下有水气。
【主治功效】
破胞（破裂胞宫）、堕胎、祛除体内陈旧瘀血、停止产后恶露不尽，同时也能安胎。
千金神造汤：蟹爪一升，甘草二尺，水一斗，煮至二升，滤去药渣，加入阿胶三两使其溶化，一次性服用。治疗胎儿死于腹中，以及双胎中一死一生的情况。服用后能使存活者平安，死者排出。如果患者虚弱无法自行服药，灌入即可苏醒。
下胎方：蟹爪二合，桂心、瞿麦各一两，牛膝二两，研成细末。空腹时用温酒送服一钱，治疗孕妇患病欲终止妊娠。
【壳的主治功效】
软坚散结、破除积滞、涩肠止泻、收敛止汗、清热、解渴、滋阴生津、益肾、治疗虚劳、气机郁结、气虚、盗汗、风热、虚热、烦热、痰结、咳嗽、喉痹、烦闷胀满、心痛及胸腹部气痛、疝气瘕块、小便频数、阴部出汗、梦遗、赤白浊、便溏、妇人崩漏带下、鬼交（指精神恍惚或性幻觉症状）、小儿惊痫、疗瘰（淋巴结核）、发背、痈肿。（均用鸡蛋清调和外涂）
牡蛎丸：牡蛎三两，赤石脂（醋拌炒制）三两，研成细末，用酒煮米糊制成梧桐子大小的丸剂。每次服用五十丸，空腹时用盐汤送服。治疗滑脱不禁之证。
又方：牡蛎、赤石脂、代赭石各一两，阿胶、川芎、当归、鹿茸、续断、干姜各三两，甘草二钱五分，研成细末，蜂蜜制成梧桐子大小的丸剂。每次服用三十丸，空腹时用温酒送服。治疗血海虚损，月经淋漓不断。
牡蛎大黄汤：牡蛎、大黄（均煅制）各一两，研成细末。每次服用一钱，空腹时用温酒调服。治疗小儿因温湿邪气侵袭膀胱，导致阴茎及阴囊浮肿疼痛。
又方：牡蛎、大黄（煨制）、木香各一钱五分，水煎服。大便通畅即停药。治疗肘部痈肿。
牡蛎散：牡蛎（研碎）、麻黄根各等分，研成细末。每次服用三到五钱，用水一盏，加入小麦一百粒煎服。治疗自汗和盗汗。
又方：牡蛎（煅制）研成细末，用醋调成丸剂，再烧至通红，取出研细，用醋调和艾叶末熬成膏，混合制成梧桐子大小的丸剂。每次服用五十丸，用醋艾汤送服。治疗月经不止、产后乳汁不通及乳房胀痛。
又方：牡蛎（煅制研粉）、车前子、白龙骨（煅制赤色）、熟地黄、黄芩、桂心各一两，研成细末。每次服用二钱，饭前用米饮送服。治疗劳损伤及中焦导致的尿血。
又方：牡蛎、当归（酒拌）、甘草节、滑石（煅制）各一钱五分，大黄三钱，木鳖子（捣碎）五枚，水煎服。治疗血疝。
又方：牡蛎、龙骨、赤石脂、肉苁蓉（酒浸切片焙干）、石斛、乌贼骨、黄柏各一两五钱，牛骨鳃灰、阿胶（炒制）、熟地（焙干）、芍药（炒制）各二两，干姜（炮制）、当归（切焙）、人参、白术、桑耳各一两二钱五分，桂枝、川芎、附子（炮制）、艾叶（炒制）各一两，研成细末。每次服用三钱，米饮调服，每日两次。治疗带下病及月经量过多，或突然大量出血成片状。
牡蛎泽泻散：牡蛎、泽泻、蜀漆（洗去腥味）、海藻（洗去盐分）、栝蒌根、商陆根（熬制）、葶苈子各等分，制成散剂。每次服用一方寸匕，用白开水调服。治疗大病初愈后，腰部以下有水气停留。
[Indications]
Rupture of the uterus (Po Bao), abortion, expulsion of old blood stasis, cessation of postpartum lochia retention, and also ability to calm the fetus.
Qianjin Shenzao Decoction: Xiezhao (Crab Claws) 1 sheng, Gancao (Licorice Root) 2 chi, water 1 dou. Boil until reduced to 2 sheng, filter out dregs, add Ejiao (Donkey-hide Gelatin) 3 liang until dissolved, and take in one dose. Treats fetal death in utero, as well as cases of twins where one is alive and one is dead. Administration ensures the survival of the living fetus and expulsion of the dead one. If the patient is too weak to swallow,灌入 (instillation) will revive them.
Xitai Formula: Xiezhao (Crab Claws) 2 he, Guixin (Cinnamon Twig Heart) and Qumai (Herba Siegesbeckiae) each 1 liang, Niuxi (Radix Achyranthis Bidentatae) 2 liang. Grind into powder. Take 1 qian with warm wine on an empty stomach. Treats pregnant women suffering from illness who wish to terminate the pregnancy.
[Shell Indications]
Softening hardness, breaking accumulations, astringing intestines, stopping sweating, clearing heat, relieving thirst, nourishing yin/water, benefiting kidneys, treating consumptive fever (Xu Lao), qi stagnation, qi deficiency, night sweats, wind-heat, deficiency heat, vexillating heat, phlegm nodules, cough, throat obstruction (Hou Bi), vexation and fullness, heart pain, qi pain in chest and abdomen, hernia and mass (Shen Jia), frequent urination, sweaty genitals, nocturnal emission, red and white turbidity, loose stools, metrorrhagia and leukorrhea in women, "ghost intercourse" (psychosomatic sexual hallucinations), pediatric convulsions and epilepsy, scrofula (Luo Li), back carbuncle, abscesses and swellings. (All applied externally mixed with egg white).
Muli Pill: Muli (Oyster Shell) 3 liang, Chishizhi (Halloysitum Rubrum) 3 liang (stir-fried with vinegar). Grind into powder, make pills using rice paste boiled in wine, size of wu zi (wu berry). Take 50 pills per dose with salt water on an empty stomach. Treats slipping and uncontrolled discharge.
Another Formula: Muli (Oyster Shell), Chishizhi (Halloysitum Rubrum), Daizheshi (Haematitum) each 1 liang; Ejiao (Donkey-hide Gelatin), Chuanxiong (Rhizoma Chuanxiong), Danggui (Radix Angelicae Sinensis), Lurong (Cornu Cervi Pantotrichum), Xuduan (Radix Dipsaci), Jiangjiang (Radix Zingiberis Preparata) each 3 liang; Gancao (Licorice Root) 2 qian 5 fen. Grind into powder, make honey pills size of wu zi. Take 30 pills per dose with warm wine on an empty stomach. Treats deficiency damage of the Blood Sea, resulting in continuous menstrual bleeding.
Muli Dahuang Decoction: Muli (Oyster Shell) and Dahuang (Radix et Rhizoma Rhei) (both calcined) each 1 liang. Grind into powder. Take 1 qian with warm wine on an empty stomach. Treats pediatric damp-warmth invading the bladder, causing edema and pain in the penis and scrotum.
Another Formula: Muli (Oyster Shell), Dahuang (Radix et Rhizoma Rhei) (baked), Muxiang (Radix Aucklandiae) each 1 qian 5 fen. Decoct in water and take. Stop taking when bowel movement is achieved. Treats elbow carbuncle.
Muli San (Powder): Muli (Oyster Shell) (crushed) and Mahuanggen (Radix Ephedrae) in equal parts. Grind into powder. Take 3-5 qian per dose with 1 zhan of water, adding 100 Xiaomai (Tritici Semen) grains, decoct and take. Treats spontaneous sweating and night sweats.
Another Formula: Muli (Oyster Shell) (calcined) ground into powder, mixed with vinegar into pills, then fired until red-hot, taken out and ground fine. Mixed with mugwort leaf powder boiled in vinegar into a paste, formed into pills size of wu zi. Take 50 pills per dose with vinegar-mugwort soup. Treats incessant menstruation, postpartum lactation failure, and breast distension/pain.
Another Formula: Muli (Oyster Shell) (calcined and powdered), Cheqianzi (Semen Plantaginis), Bailonggu (Os Draconis et Ossis Mammothi) (calcined until red), Shudihuang (Radix Rehmanniae Preparata), Huangqin (Radix Scutellariae), Guixin (Cinnamon Twig Heart) each 1 liang. Grind into powder. Take 2 qian per dose before meals with rice drink. Treats hematuria caused by labor injury damaging the middle jiao.
Another Formula: Muli (Oyster Shell), Danggui (Radix Angelicae Sinensis) (mixed with wine), Gancaojie (Node of Licorice Root), Huashi (Halloysitum Album) (calcined) each 1 qian 5 fen; Dahuang (Radix et Rhizoma Rhei) 3 qian; Muguezi (Semen Strychnos) (pounded) 5 pieces. Decoct in water and take. Treats blood hernia.
Another Formula: Muli (Oyster Shell), Longgu (Os Draconis et Ossis Mammothi), Chishizhi (Halloysitum Rubrum), Rongrong (Cynomorii Herba) (soaked in wine, sliced and baked), Shihu (Dendrobii Caulis), Ouigu (Cutula Sepiae) Huangbo (Cortex Phellodendri) each 1 liang 5 qian; Niugu Sa Hui (Ash of Ox Bone Gills), Ejiao (Donkey-hide Gelatin) (fried), Shudi (Prepared Rehmannia Root) (baked), Shaoyao (Radix Paeoniae Alba) (fried) each 2 liang; Jiangjiang (Zingiberis Radix Preparata) (pao), Danggui (Radix Angelicae Sinensis) (sliced and baked), Renshen (Radix Ginseng), Baizhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma), Sang'er (Auricula Auricularia) each 1 liang 2 qian 5 fen; Guizhi (Ramulus Cinnamomi), Chuanxiong (Rhizoma Chuanxiong), Fuzi (Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata) (pao), Aiye (Folium Artemisiae Argyi) (fried) each 1 liang. Grind into powder. Take 3 qian per dose mixed with rice drink, twice daily. Treats leukorrhea and excessive menstruation, or sudden massive hemorrhage in clots.
