芹菜内蚂蝗极多，摘洗不净，每每误
食下咽，肚腹作痛。
或云∶蚂蝗 灰研细，散于水碗内，露一宿即变细蚂蝗，何况误吞活蚂蝗乎！
蚂蝗一名水蛭，以火焙为灰，见水复活，惟土井及藏芹菜根内，小如米麦，人
所难防，误食必害人。若知此物在腹，但以芝麻油润肛门，蛊闻香尽出，可无害矣。
验方 水田泥为丸桐子大，每服二三钱，用水送下。蚂蝗即随泥解出，空心服之更效。
又方 蜜糖一杯，和水服之。
又方 空心饮地浆水少许，自下。
验方
雄黄（一钱） 巴豆（去油一粒） 干姜（五分） 麝香（一分）
共研细末，开水调服。
验方 蓝青汁服之。
凡中蚯蚓毒者，形如大麻疯，眉发脱落 锻石泡热水，候冷浸良久，即愈。
小儿受之 盐汤温洗，或鸭血涂之。
人有食牛、犬肉，一时心疼，不能吐
泻，此毒结心胃，不升不降也。亦宜用吐。如吐之不效，当用消肉化毒丹。夫牛犬无
毒，本补精血之物，何以毒至于此？必牛犬抱病将死，又加缚束以激动怒气，毒结
于皮肉之间，适当其处，人误食之，故食之生病，卒至暴亡也。
凡中马、犬、河豚、鱼、蟹毒者，心下必坚硬，或腹胀口渴，忽发热妄语者是。
凡误食瘟牛肉，口吐白沫，不省人事 早稻草煎汤，灌之立醒。
又方 乌 树根皮酒煎，同热酒服。
又方 菊花连根捣汁，同热酒服。
消肉化毒丹
山楂 神曲 大黄 雷丸（各三钱） 枳壳 浓朴（各一钱）
水煎服。
芹菜中蚂蝗极多，若采摘清洗不净，常常误食咽下，导致肚腹疼痛。
有人说：将蚂蝗烧成灰研细，放入水碗中，放置一夜就会变成细小的活蚂蝗，何况是误吞了活的蚂蝗呢！
蚂蝗又名水蛭，用火焙干烧成灰，遇到水又能复活，它们只存在于土井及储藏芹菜根的地方，小如米麦，人们难以防范，误食必定害人。如果知道此物在腹中，只需以芝麻油润滑肛门，蛊毒闻到香气便会全部排出，就可以没有危害了。
验方：取水田泥制成梧桐子大小的药丸，每次服用二三钱，用水送服。蚂蝗就会随着泥土化解排出，空腹服用效果更佳。
又一方：取一杯蜂蜜糖，加水调和后服用。
又一方：空腹饮用少许地浆水，可自行排出。
验方：雄黄（一钱）、巴豆（去油一粒）、干姜（五分）、麝香（一分），共同研成细末，用开水调服。
验方：蓝靛青汁服用。
凡是中了蚯蚓毒的人，症状如同大麻风病，眉毛头发脱落。用煅石泡热水，待冷却后浸泡很久，即可痊愈。
有人吃了牛肉、犬肉，突然心口疼痛，不能呕吐也不能腹泻，这是毒邪结聚在心胃之间，气机不升不降所致。也应当使用催吐法。如果催吐无效，应当使用消肉化毒丹。牛和犬本身无毒，本是补益精血的食物，怎么会中毒到这种地步？一定是牛犬患病将死时，又被捆绑束缚以激发其怒气，毒邪结聚在皮肉之间，正好处于食用部位，人误食之后，所以进食后生病，甚至突然暴亡。
凡是中了马肉、犬肉、河豚、鱼、蟹毒的人，心下部位必然坚硬，或者腹胀口渴，忽然发热胡言乱语的就是这类情况。
凡是误食瘟牛肉，口吐白沫，不省人事的：用早稻草煎汤，灌服后立即清醒。
又一方：菊花连根捣碎取汁，与热酒同服。
There are many leeches in celery; if not carefully picked and washed, they may be accidentally swallowed, causing abdominal pain.
It is said: If leeches are calcined into ash, ground finely, and placed in a bowl of water overnight, they transform into tiny living leeches. How much more so would swallowing live leeches cause harm!
Leeches, also known as Shuizhi (Water Leeches), can revive upon contact with water even after being calcined by fire. They inhabit soil wells and the roots of stored celery, being as small as rice or wheat grains, making them difficult for people to prevent. Accidental ingestion is harmful. If one knows these creatures are in the abdomen, lubricating the anus with sesame oil will cause the toxins to exit due to their attraction to the scent, thereby preventing harm.
Empirical Formula 1: Form pills from paddy field mud the size of Chinese quince seeds. Take 2-3 qian each time, taken orally with water. The leeches will dissolve and pass out with the mud. Taking this on an empty stomach is more effective.
Another Formula: Drink one cup of honey sugar diluted with water.
Another Formula: On an empty stomach, drink a small amount of earth slurry water to facilitate expulsion.
Empirical Formula 2: Realgar (1 qian), Ba Dou (Croton Seed, de-oiled, 1 grain), Gan Jiang (Dried Ginger, 5 fen), She Xiang (Musk, 1 fen). Grind all ingredients into a fine powder and take with boiled water.
Empirical Formula 3: Drink mulberry juice, or decoction of mulberry root or mulberry leaves.
Empirical Formula 4: Drink Indigofera tinctoria leaf juice (Lan Qing Zhi).
For those poisoned by earthworms, symptoms resemble severe leprosy, with loss of eyebrows and hair. Soak in hot water prepared with Calcined Alumen (Duan Shi) for a long time after cooling; recovery follows.
For children infected: Wash with warm salt water, or apply duck blood to the affected area.
When someone consumes beef or dog meat and suddenly experiences heart pain without ability to vomit or defecate, this indicates toxin accumulation in the Heart and Stomach, blocking the ascending and descending mechanisms. Vomiting should be induced. If vomiting is ineffective, Xiaorou Huadu Dan (Meat-Dissolving Toxin-Resolving Pill) should be used. Beef and dogs are inherently non-toxic and are substances that nourish essence and blood. How could they become toxic? It must be that the animal was sick and near death, and its anger was stirred by binding and restraint, causing toxins to accumulate between the skin and flesh at the edible parts. Humans who mistakenly consume this meat fall ill and may die suddenly.
For poisoning from horse meat, dog meat, pufferfish, fish, or crab, there is invariably hardness below the heart, abdominal distension, thirst, sudden fever, and delirious speech.
For accidental ingestion of plague-infected beef, presenting with foaming at the mouth and unconsciousness: Decoct early-season straw and administer orally to restore consciousness immediately.
Another Formula: Decoct the bark of Phytolacca acinosa root (Wu La Shu Gen Pi) in wine, and take with hot wine.
Another Formula: Crush fresh Chrysanthemum flowers with roots to extract juice, and take with hot wine.
Xiaorou Huadu Dan (Meat-Dissolving Toxin-Resolving Pill)
Shan Zha (Hawthorn Fruit), Shen Qu (Medicated Leaven), Da Huang (Rhubarb Root and Rhizome), Lei Wan (Omphalia Lapponica), Zhi Qiao (Bitter Orange Peel), Hou Po (Magnolia Bark) (each 3 qian for Shan Zha, Shen Qu, Da Huang, Lei Wan; 1 qian for Zhi Qiao, Hou Po).
Decoct in water and take orally.
