This is the *Ganying Wan* (Miracle Response Pill), but it uses only Dingxiang (Clove, *Syzygii Aromatisati Flos*), Muxiang (Costus Root, *Aucklandiae Radix*) (each 1 qian), Ganjiang (Dried Ginger, *Zingiberis Rhizoma*), and Baicaoshuang (Soot from Hundred Herbs, *Herba Centaurii Carbonisata*) (each 5 qian). These four herbs are each ground into powder, mixed evenly, and passed through a fine sieve multiple times to obtain an extremely fine powder.

Separately, Rouddou (Nutmeg, *Myristicae Semen*), Xingren (Apricot Seed, *Armeniacae Semen Amarum*), and Badou (Croton Seed, *Crotonis Fructus*) (5 qian, stir-fried to remove oil, retaining slight medicinal properties) are ground together into a paste. The aforementioned herb powders are added to this paste. Prepare 2 liang of wax in advance; boil it in vinegar to remove impurities, melt it, add half a liang of oil to blend, then mix into the paste with the fine herb powder. Grind repeatedly for hundreds of strokes until the mixture can be rolled into strips. Wrap each strip in wax paper; each strip weighs approximately 1 qian. Form into pills as needed and take orally.
