(Attached: Chancre)
Wind pathogen disease. If the consolidation of essence is not regulated, and it is attacked by external wind-dampness, the condition begins with damp sweat and itching in the scrotum. The dampness flows into the four limbs and hands, presenting as white lesions, all generating sores.
Commonly referred to as "Kidney Wind." Treatment involves using two liang of Sisheng Yin (Four Generations Decoction). One pair of pig kidneys is finely sliced with a bamboo knife, placed in a silver or ceramic vessel, soaked in wine, and cooked until soft and rotten. It is then ground into a fine powder and mixed with the medicine to form pills, sized like paulownia seeds. If pill formation is difficult, add a small amount of human urine and vinegar. Take 50-60 pills per dose, on an empty stomach, washed down with salted wine. Alternatively, use Huashe San (Flower Snake Powder) combined with Xiaofeng San (Eliminate Wind Powder), taken with wine; or consume Shengma Heqi Yin (Cimicifuga Harmonizing Qi Drink), swallow Wutou Zhuyan Wan (Aconite Boiled Salt Pills), Wu Jing Wan (Aconite and Vitex Pills), or Huashe Wan (Flower Snake Pills). If there is frequent dampness and itching requiring washing, decoct a single herb, Shechuangzi (Cnidium Fruit), for topical use.
For chancre, apply pearl powder intended for eye medication directly as a dry powder to the lesion. Another method is to apply Shuiyin Gao (Mercury Ointment) to induce drainage of fluid, then grind Huozhongbai (Calcined Calamine) into powder, mix equally with Dandan (Cinnabar), add a little Muxiang (Musk), and sprinkle onto the lesion. For unbearable itching caused by wind, mix ginger juice with one or two drops of sesame oil, stir evenly, and apply topically.
(Attached: Traumatic Injury)
Falling and losing consciousness is called "Pu" (falling); striking each other is called "Pu" (blow/collision). The damage they cause is essentially the same. For those who become unconscious or stifled due to falling or collision, treat with Suhe Xiang Wan (Styrax Pill) or Jiming San (Cockcrow Powder) taken with wine, or Heqi Yin (Harmonizing Qi Drink) with added Rhubarb and a little vinegar decocted; or use Tongbian (Child's Urine) to take Heishen San (Black Divine Powder). If child's urine is not used, decoct Hematoxylum (Suzmu) instead; taking it with wine is also acceptable. For pain from traumatic injury, Hupo San (Amber Powder) taken with wine yields excellent results. Additionally, Wuyao Shunqi San (Lindera Regulating Qi Powder) can be used to treat this, particularly suitable for wind-induced lower back pain. If a patient suffering from trauma finds that oral medications, fumigation, washing, and topical applications are ineffective and the condition remains unchanged, some recommend using Baishao Yao (White Peony Root), Chishao Yao (Red Peony Root), Weilingxian (Clematis Root), Ruxiang (Frankincense), and Moyao (Myrrh) in equal parts. Grind into fine powder, mix evenly, and take with wine; pain will immediately reduce by half.
For knife wounds with unceasing bleeding, use a single herb formula of Baishao Yao San (White Peony Powder), taken with white wine, and simultaneously sprinkle the powder on the wound. If blood does not exit smoothly, causing stagnation of evil blood, leading to redness and swelling at the injury site, or swelling attacking the four limbs and head/face, concurrently take Jiming San (Cockcrow Powder), or decoct Honghua (Safflower) to take Heishen San (Black Divine Powder). For cases where bleeding is unceasing and difficult to restrain, use Longgu (Dragon Bone) and Ruxiang (Frankincense) in equal parts, ground into powder, packed into the affected area; stuffing with crushed Shenyu Cao (Ophiopogon Root or similar local herb) is especially effective. This is not only applicable to knife wounds but also to unceasing bleeding from traumatic injuries.
