一、甲子年，土运，南正司天。观测时面向北方，左侧向西，右侧向东，上方为正征（君火）。君火之气在天，天气顺转。从甲至子，顺行十一位，子对应坎卦，数为1；火成数为7，1加7等于8。当司天之气到来时，在天数前八刻到达。之后十一日，火气开始主事，天令开始施行。治天后五日，太宫（土音）与太征（火音）相和，赤色之气在上，热气行于天，傍晚青霞显现，早晨黄云发散。这是随从司天之色的现象。
二、甲午年，土运，南正司天。观测时面向北方，左侧向西，右侧向东，上方为太征（君火）。君火之气在天，天气顺转。从甲至午，顺行五位，午对应离卦，数为9；火生数为2，2加9等于11。当司天之气到来时，在天数前十一刻到达。之后五日，火气开始主事，天令开始施行。治天后五日，太宫与太征相和，赤色之气向上显现，傍晚青霞显著，早晨黄色之气发散。这是天道顺应的吉兆。
三、己丑年，土运，南正司天。观测时面向北方，左侧向西，右侧向东，上方为正宫（太阴湿土）。太阴湿土之气在天，天气顺转。从己至丑，左迁七位，丑属土，数为5；土不成数亦为5，5加5等于10。当司天之气到来时，在天数后十刻到达。之后七日，土气开始主事，少宫与上正宫相同，始化天令，黄色之气在上，湿气行于天，红色云彩早晚频繁出现。这是左右随从司天之正的体现。
四、己未年，土运，南正司天。观测时面向北方，左侧向西，右侧向东，上方为正宫（太阴湿土）。太阴湿土司天，天气顺转。己本在未，不再左迁，未属土，数为5；运土其数也为5，5加5等于10。当司天之气到来时，在天数后十刻到达。当日土气主事，便行天令。治天后十八日，少宫与正宫会同，黄色之气在上，湿气行于天，早晚赤色之气共同直对天令。
五、甲戌年，土运，南正司天。观测时面向北方，左侧向西，右侧向东，上方为太羽（太阳寒水）。太阳寒水司天，天气顺转。从甲至戌，左迁九位，戌属土，数为5；运土其数也为5，5加5等于10。当司天之气到来时，在天数前十刻到达。之后九日，水气开始主事，天令开始施行。治天后五日，太宫来刑克太羽，羽气无亏损，气不和，黑色之气在上，寒气行于天，早晨见到黄色之气，傍晚有黄霞，最终还归紫色，紫变黑色。这是顺化的征兆。
六、甲辰年，土运，南正司天。观测时面向北方，左侧向西，右侧向东，上方为太羽（太阳寒水）。太阳寒水司天，天气顺转左迁，从甲至辰左迁三位。辰属土，数为5；运亦为5，5加5等于10。当司天之气到来时，在天数前十刻到达。之后三日，水气开始主事，天令开始施行。之后五日，太宫来刑克太羽，羽气不亏，黑色之气在上，寒气行于天，黄色之气上腾，每次刑克天令。

十一、己酉年，土运，南正司天。观测时面向北方，左侧向西，右侧向东，上方为正商（阳明燥金）。阳明燥金司天，天气顺转自巳至酉左迁三位。酉属兑，数为7；土数5，7加5等于12。当司天之气到来时，在天数后十二刻到达。之后三日，金气开始主事，天令开始化育。后十八日，少宫来和正商，白色之气在上，燥气行于天，早晨有彤云，傍晚生黑气。这是左右二直同司之候。
十二、己卯年，土运，南正司天。观测时面向北方，左侧向西，右侧向东，上方为正商（阳明燥金）。阳明燥金司天，天气顺行自巳至卯左迁九位。卯属震，数为3；土数5，3加5等于8。当司天之气到来时，在天数后八刻到达。之后九日，金气开始主事，天令开始化育。白色之气在上，燥气行于天，早晨生赤气，暮时有黑云。这是顺天之候。
Twelve Methods of Nan Zheng Si Tian (Nan Zheng Si Tian proceeds sequentially from Heavenly Stems to Earthly Branches, adding the Branch number to the Generation and Completion numbers)
1. Jia Zi Year, Earth Transport, Nan Zheng Si Tian. Observe facing North, Left towards West, Right towards East, Upper aspect is Zheng (Jun Huo / Sovereign Fire). Jun Huo Qi is in the Heaven, Heavenly Qi turns smoothly. From Jia to Zi, proceeding forward eleven positions; Zi corresponds to Kan Trigram, number 1; Fire Completion number is 7, 1 plus 7 equals 8. When Si Tian Qi arrives, it reaches eight ke (time units) before the Heavenly Day number. Eleven days later, Fire Qi begins to govern, and Heavenly Order begins to execute. Five days after governance begins, Tai Gong (Earth tone) harmonizes with Tai Zheng (Fire tone); Red Qi appears above, Heat moves through the Heaven; at dusk, Blue-Red clouds appear, and at dawn, Yellow clouds disperse. This is the phenomenon of following the color of Si Tian.
2. Jia Wu Year, Earth Transport, Nan Zheng Si Tian. Observe facing North, Left towards West, Right towards East, Upper aspect is Tai Zheng (Jun Huo / Sovereign Fire). Jun Huo Qi is in the Heaven, Heavenly Qi turns smoothly. From Jia to Wu, proceeding forward five positions; Wu corresponds to Li Trigram, number 9; Fire Generation number is 2, 2 plus 9 equals 11. When Si Tian Qi arrives, it reaches eleven ke before the Heavenly Day number. Five days later, Fire Qi begins to govern, and Heavenly Order begins to execute. Five days after governance begins, Tai Gong harmonizes with Tai Zheng; Red Qi manifests upward, at dusk Blue-Red clouds are prominent, and at dawn Yellow Qi disperses. This is an auspicious omen of Heavenly Dao compliance.
3. Ji Chou Year, Earth Transport, Nan Zheng Si Tian. Observe facing North, Left towards West, Right towards East, Upper aspect is Zheng Gong (Tai Yin Shi Tu / Great Yin Damp Earth). Tai Yin Shi Tu Qi is in the Heaven, Heavenly Qi turns smoothly. From Ji to Chou, moving left seven positions; Chou belongs to Earth, number 5; Earth's non-completion number is also 5, 5 plus 5 equals 10. When Si Tian Qi arrives, it reaches ten ke after the Heavenly Day number. Seven days later, Earth Qi begins to govern; Shao Gong harmonizes with the upper Zheng Gong, beginning to transform Heavenly Order; Yellow Qi is above, Dampness moves through the Heaven; Red clouds appear frequently morning and evening. This reflects the correctness of Left and Right following Si Tian.
4. Ji Wei Year, Earth Transport, Nan Zheng Si Tian. Observe facing North, Left towards West, Right towards East, Upper aspect is Zheng Gong (Tai Yin Shi Tu / Great Yin Damp Earth). Tai Yin Shi Tu Si Tian, Heavenly Qi turns smoothly. Ji originally resides in Wei, no further left movement; Wei belongs to Earth, number 5; Earth Transport number is also 5, 5 plus 5 equals 10. When Si Tian Qi arrives, it reaches ten ke after the Heavenly Day number. On that day, Earth Qi governs and immediately executes Heavenly Order. When Si Tian Qi arrives, it reaches ten ke before the Heavenly Day number. Nine days later, Water Qi begins to govern, and Heavenly Order begins to execute. When Si Tian Qi arrives, it reaches ten ke before the Heavenly Day number. Three days later, Water Qi begins to govern, and Heavenly Order begins to execute.
