有的出现坚硬结块并疼痛，严重的如同痈肿一样，感觉时就用冷水清洗、用冷石熨敷；轻微的，片刻就能消散；严重的，需要数日水不间断地冲洗才能痊愈。清洗没有固定的次数限制，以痊愈为期限。如果仍然不愈，就取磨刀石，烧至通红，将石头投入醋中，
Some present with hard nodules and pain; in severe cases, it resembles a carbuncle (Yong, 痈). Upon sensation, wash with cold water and apply cold stones for moxibustion-like warming (Wen, 熨); in mild cases, it dissipates after a short while; in severe cases, continuous washing with water over several days is required until recovery.
