附子研末，吹入喉中，即愈。
又方∶豆豉煮汤加入好酒服之。或用人乳汁半合，和好酒调服。
真硼砂一两，元明粉一钱，诃子肉二钱，胆星一钱，冰片三分，共为末，外加大乌梅一
两，捣如泥，丸如龙眼核大。每用一丸，噙化，数次即愈。
又方∶猪油二斤，熬去滓，入白蜜一斤，再炼少顷，沥净，入瓷器内俟成膏，不拘时挑
服一匙。并治肺热声哑。
又方∶通草，水煎服。或用橘皮煎浓汁，俟冷冻饮料之。
人之失音，由于色欲过度，元气耗丧，虽参茸无能为力。惟有未破身十六、七童男女，
五更早起未食物之前，不必漱口，烂嚼海南子槟榔一、二个与病者服之。换十人嚼至十次，
其病自愈。男病用童女嚼，女病用童男嚼。
又方∶新好槐花米放新瓦上，慢火炒熟放身旁，随行随坐闻送一、二粒置口中，咀嚼咽
之，使喉中常有气味，久之自通。
又方∶生白矾，炼蜜为丸服之。
咳嗽声哑见咳嗽门

另一个方子：猪油二斤，熬制去渣，加入白蜜一斤，再次炼制片刻，沥净杂质，装入瓷器内等待凝固成膏状，不拘时间挑取一匙服用。此方同时治疗肺热导致的声哑。
另一个方子：通草，用水煎服。或者用橘皮煎煮浓汁，待冷却冷冻后饮用。
肉桂一钱，杏仁五钱，研成粉末，用蜂蜜制成如樱桃大小的丸剂，用棉布包裹含在口中，让药汁咽下。
人的失音，是由于房事过度，元气耗损丧失，即使使用人参、鹿茸也无能为力。只有未曾破身的十六七岁的童男童女，在五更早起尚未进食之前，不必漱口，将海南子槟榔一两个嚼烂给病人服用。换十个人嚼至十次，其病自然痊愈。男性患病由童女嚼，女性患病由童男嚼。
另一个方子：新鲜优质的槐花米放在新瓦上，用慢火炒熟放在身旁，行走或坐着时闻一闻，送一到两粒放入口中，咀嚼咽下，使喉中常有气味，久而久之自然通畅。
另一个方子：生白矾，用炼蜜制成丸剂服用。

Take one chicken egg, pierce a small hole, remove the yolk and keep only the albumen (egg white), insert one raw Pinelliae Rhizoma (Banxia), warm it gently over a low fire until hot, and consume the albumen.
For someone who has lost their voice and cannot speak due to fright, use 7 fen of Calcitum (Tuoseng), taken with tea water for mixing; recovery occurs immediately. This method has been tested repeatedly with miraculous efficacy.
Grind Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata (Fuzi) into powder and blow it into the throat; recovery follows immediately.
Another prescription: Decoct Fermented Soybean (Douchi) in water, add good wine, and take orally. Alternatively, use half he of human milk, mix with good wine, and take orally.
1 liang of Borax (Pengsha), 1 qian of Mirabilite (Yuanmingfen), 2 qian of Pericarpium Arecae Seedae (Hezi Rou), 1 qian of Arisaema cum Bile (Danning), and 3 fen of Borneolum Syntheticum (Bingpian), all ground together into powder. Additionally, use 1 liang of Prunus mume (Wumei), pounded into a paste. Form pills the size of a longan seed. Use one pill each time, hold in the mouth to dissolve slowly; recovery occurs after several times.
Another prescription: Take 2 jin of Porcine Adipose (Zhuyou), render and strain the dregs, add 1 jin of White Honey (Baimi), refine again briefly, strain thoroughly, pour into a porcelain vessel, and wait for it to solidify into an ointment. Take one spoonful at any time. This also treats hoarseness caused by Lung Heat.
Another prescription: Decoct Tetrapanacis Medulla (Tongcao) in water and take orally. Or decoct Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium (Jupi) into a thick juice, chill it until frozen/cold, and drink it.
1 qian of Cinnamomi Cortex (Rougui) and 5 qian of Armeniacae Semen Amarum (Xingren), ground into powder, formed into pills the size of a cherry using honey. Wrap in cotton, hold in the mouth to dissolve, and swallow the juice.
Hoarseness in humans is due to excessive sexual activity, leading to the depletion and loss of Yuan Qi (Primordial Qi); even Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma (Renshen) and Cervi Cornu Pantotrichum (Rongsu) are powerless. Only virgin boys or girls aged sixteen or seventeen who have not yet had sexual intercourse should chew one or two Betel Nut (Binglang) from Hainan before eating in the early morning (Wugeng) without rinsing their mouths, and feed them to the patient. Have ten different people chew, repeating ten times; the illness will heal naturally. If the patient is male, a virgin girl chews; if female, a virgin boy chews.
Another prescription: Place fresh, high-quality Sophorae Flos (Huaihua Mi) on a new tile, stir-fry熟ly over a slow fire, keep it nearby, and while walking or sitting, smell it occasionally. Put one or two grains in the mouth, chew, and swallow, ensuring the throat constantly retains the aroma; over time, speech will naturally return.
Another prescription: Raw Alum (Baifan), formed into pills using refined honey, and taken orally.

This condition manifests above the laryngeal prominence (commonly known as Adam's apple) of the neck, named Jiehou Yong (Laryngeal Carbuncle). It manifests on both sides of the laryngeal prominence, named Jiahou Yong (Paralaryngeal Carbuncle). In severe cases, it blocks the pharynx.
