To treat unbearable pain in the fleshy areas of the waist.
Take half a qian of Moschus (Shexiang) powder, mix with wine, and take orally.
To treat ulcers in the genitalia, known as "Du Chuang" (envy sores), which may be painful or itchy, feeling like insects crawling, with continuous discharge of purulent fluid, causing severe erosion of the genital tissue. Treatment should focus on tonifying Heart Qi.
Baifuling (Poria, 3 fen), Renshen (Radix Ginseng, 3 fen), Qianhu (Radix Peucedani, 3 fen), Banxia (Rhizoma Pinelliae, washed seven times in decoction to remove slipperiness, 3 fen), Chuanxiong (Radix Ligustici Chuanxiong, 3 fen), Jupi (Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae), Zhike (Fructus Aurantii, bran-fried, pith removed), Dihuang (Radix Rehmanniae, 1.5 liang).
Cut the above ingredients into coarse pieces for a powder. Take 4 qian each time, decocted with 1.5 cups of water, 5 slices of Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens (Shengjiang), and one Ziziphi Jujubae Fructus (Dazao), taken before meals.
To treat corrosive ulcers in the genitalia, with ulceration, continuous discharge of thick pus, and foul odor.
Cut Acanthopanacis Senticosi Caulis (Yelangya) finely, decoct to make a concentrated juice. Wrap the tip of a chopstick with cotton (size of a silkworm cocoon), dip it in the concentrated juice, and apply to the genital area multiple times.
To treat sores in the lower part.
Xionghuang (Realgar, ground), Qingxiangzi (Semen Celosiae), Kushen (Radix Sophorae Flavescentis), Huanglian (Rhizoma Coptidis, each 2 fen), Taoren (Semen Persicae, peeled and pit removed, ground, 1 fen).
Grind the above ingredients into powder. Mix with fresh juice obtained from pounding Artemisia argyi (Aiye). Form pills the size of a jujube pit. Wrap in cotton and insert into the lower orifice. If there is no improvement, add juice from Banzhu (Bambusa textilis); if Aiye is unavailable, simply wrap the powder in cotton and insert.

Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae), Ganqi (Resina Taxilli, each 1 liang), Huangqin (Radix Scutellariae), Ganhudihuang (Radix Rehmanniae Preparata), Danggui (Radix Angelicae Sinensis), Shaoyao (Radix Paeoniae Rubra or Alba, each 2 liang), Guijia (Carapax et Plastrum Testudinis, 5 liang).

Decoct in 1-2 sheng of clear wine in a clay pot until 1 sheng remains. Strain. Take warm occasionally. When the wine is finished, decoct the dregs again and take. If symptoms are just beginning, see another prescription: when swelling, hardness, and pain are first felt but no sore has formed yet, use Congbai (Scallion) for moxibustion-like warming. Method: Use a medium-sized bottle with a wide mouth suitable for seafood. Place charcoal fire inside the bottle and use the heat from the bottle's mouth to fumigate/warm the affected area.
To treat "Qiezi Ji" (lower jiao damp-heat disorders), with mental restlessness. Continuous yellow discharge is easy to treat; white discharge is difficult to cure. Use Wu Jin Er Dou San (Black Gold Two-Bean Powder), decocted with Jiang and Zao, taken warm. (Formula seen previously.)
Another method: Boil powder made from raw Zhike (Fructus Aurantii), fumigate and wash the affected area. Then wrap the dregs of Zhike in silk cloth and insert into the vagina/genital area. The condition will gradually subside.
