Urination is difficult, and there is sweating only on the head; this indicates death (due to Yang collapse).
In patients with dampness, if mistaken treatment with purgation leads to sweating on the forehead and slight wheezing, it indicates death (due to Yang collapse).
Sweating on the hands and feet belongs to the Yangming Stomach channel.
When heat accumulates in the Stomach, body fluids leak out from the sides; this must be accompanied by hard stools or delirium, and purgation can be used.
When cold invades the Stomach, causing Yangming Cold-Invading the Middle, the patient cannot eat, urination is difficult, and stools are initially hard but later loose; purgation is contraindicated.
When pathogenic factors are in the exterior, there is no sweating, and the six pulses are floating and forceful.
In Taiyang disease, with no sweating and a floating-tight pulse, Mahuang Tang (Ephedra Decoction) is indicated.
In Yangming disease, with no sweating, free urination, vomiting, coughing, and cold extremities...
In Gang Jing (Stiff Spasm), with no sweating and a string-like pulse, Gegen Tang (Kudzu Decoction) is indicated.
Pathogenic factors transmit inward.

In winter, for Yangming disease with no sweating and a flooding-excess pulse, clear the heat. If there is constipation, locked jaw, and chest fullness, use purgation. For tidal fever and delirium...

When water-fluids accumulate internally and do not circulate, body fluids become insufficient, leading to fullness and slight pain below the heart and difficult urination.
In Wang Yang (Loss of Yang) with no sweating, Yang deficiency leads to scanty body fluids; the pulse is floating and slow, and the body must itch; alternatively, Guizhi Mahuang Banban Tang is indicated.
In Yin-Yang Yi (Sexual Transmission Disease) with no sweating, a tight pulse indicates Yang deficiency; without Yang to transform into sweat, Shao Kui San (Burnt Underwear Powder) and Shu Shi Tang (Mouse Dropping Decoction) are indicated to harmonize.
In Re Bing (Heat Disease), if the pulse is restless and excessive, and sweating cannot be induced, it indicates the extreme of Yang, which is fatal; if three doses of medicine fail to induce sweating, it is fatal.
Headache involving all three Yang channels: Taiyang pulse is floating, treated with Gegen Congbai Tang (Kudzu and Scallion Decoction); Shaoyang pulse is string-like, treated with Chaihu Tang (Bupleurum Decoction); Yangming pulse is long, treated with Chengqi Tang (Order the Qi Decoction).
The three Yin channels generally do not cause headache; only Jueyin, whose pulse meets at the vertex, causes headache with dry retching and salivation, treated with Wuzhuyu Tang (Evodia Decoction).
If urine is clear, heat is not in the interior, and dispersing methods can be used.
If there is no bowel movement, indicating headache due to heat, purgation can be used.
