Apply cooked Tung oil (Verniciae Folium Oil) mixed with Miduoseng (Litharge) powder topically.
Another method: Use Gafen (Concha Meretricis et Cyclinae), Lacha (Tea Leaves from the twelfth lunar month), Kushen (Sophorae Flavescentis Radix), Qingdai (Indigo Naturalis), and Miduoseng. A patient with a chronic chancre (Xiagan / Genital Ulcer) developed spontaneous diarrhea in early summer with slight chest oppression. After taking Zhizhong Tang (Regulate the Middle Decoction), he fell into a coma resembling death. Both pulses were choppy and heavy, slightly wiry and seemingly rapid. This was a severe case of chancre. He was given Danggui Longhui Wan (Angelica and Gardenia Pill) five doses; after purgation, symptoms subsided. Then, Xiaochaihu Tang (Minor Bupleurum Decoction) with Banxia (Pinelliae Rhizoma) removed, and Huanglian, Shaoyao (Paeoniae Radix Alba), and Chuanxiong added, was decocted and taken for five to six doses until recovery.

Another method: Baijiaoxiang (Colophonium, 3 qian) and Longgu (Fossilia Ossis Mastodi, 1 qian), grind into powder and apply.
