Among women, those who are born without breast milk cannot be treated. Some cases arise from crying, grief, or anger leading to Qi stagnation and obstruction, causing the breast meridians to fail to flow. In such cases, a clear soup made from lean pork can be used to prepare delicious food. After meals, take Diao Yi Yuan San (Regulate and Benefit Primordial Powder) 5–7 qian, administered continuously for 3–5 doses. Additionally, comb the breasts with a wooden comb over 100 times around the circumference, and the breast milk will naturally flow.
Another method: Consume delicious food mixed with pig trotter soup; breast milk will also flow. Eating four cooked pig trotters is also effective.
Yet another method: Acupuncture at the Jianjing (GB21) acupoints bilaterally is also effective.
For women experiencing tidal fever and dry mouth one or two days postpartum, fresh well water can be used to mix Yu Lu San (Jade Dew Powder); alternatively, ice water may be used for mixing. Taking Xiao Chai Hu Tang (Minor Bupleurum Decoction) added with Dang Gui (Angelica Sinensis) or Chai Hu Yin Zi (Bupleurum Drink) is also acceptable. It is strictly forbidden to treat this as a deficiency-cold syndrome.
Mastitis presenting with pain originates from the Heart, commonly known in folk terms as "blown milk." "Blown" refers to wind pathogenic factors. Wind-heat pathogens condense between the breasts, causing blood vessels to coagulate and stagnate. If unresolved over time, it ulcerates and rots into pus. One method can be employed to prevent its progression.
The incantation states: "Respectfully invite the Eastern Guardian Clan; blown milk is ash-milk offspring."
When applying this method, first ask the patient: "What illness?" The patient replies: "Blown milk." Inhale one breath of air, blow it onto the Kan character pattern on both palms, press firmly with the thumbs, stand facing North, recite seven times in one breath, blowing towards the North. Observe this process three times. During the ritual, have two women face the patient and vigorously knead the affected breast 100–200 times. Repeating this three times leads to recovery.
For pregnant women experiencing difficulty in urination and defecation, Ba Zheng San (Eight Upright Powder) can be used in a large dosage. Remove Hua Shi (Talcum), add Kui Cai Zi (Abelmoschus Manihot seeds), decoct, and administer.
The *Nei Jing* (Inner Canon) states: "Obstruction of the Bladder is called Long." Long refers to the closure and blockage of urination. Adding Mu Xiang (Aucklandia Root) to Ba Zheng San yields faster results. The Classics state: "When the Qi transformation of the Bladder functions, urine can be excreted." Subsequently, taking Wu Ling San (Five-Ingredient Powder with Poria) for 3–5 doses results in cure.
