For women suffering from head wind and vertigo, who also experience vertigo, dry eyes, numbness in hands and feet, hair loss, forgetfulness, and mood swings when riding in carriages or boats, these symptoms are all caused by phlegm retained in the chest. Guadi San (Melon Seed Powder) can be used to induce vomiting; after vomiting, Wuling San (Five-Ingredient Poria Decoction) and Darenshen Banxia Wan (Ginseng and Pinellia Pill) can be decocted with long-flowing water, and Yufeng Bingzi (Wind-Dispelling Biscuits) can be taken regularly for a cure.

For women aged fifty or above who experience sudden profuse vaginal bleeding: Women's menstrual blood typically ceases at the age of forty-nine (seven sevens). Sudden profuse bleeding beyond this number is described in the *Neijing* (Inner Canon) as "Fire governs sudden speed." This is also caused by sudden extreme joy or anger, sorrowful constriction, or fright. It must not be treated as a cold syndrome; administering harsh hot medicines will result in death. Only Huanglian Jiedu Tang (Coptis Decoction for Resolving Toxicity) should be used to clear heat in the upper jiao; Lianqie Hui (Lotus Shell Ash) and Zongmao (Bramble Fiber) can be used to drain dampness in the lower jiao; subsequently, Siwu Tang (Four Substance Decoction) combined with Yanhusuo San (Corydalis Powder) should be used, which are herbs that cool blood and regulate menstruation.

For women with red and white leukorrhea, or those discharging white substances resembling fat, Daoshui Wan (Water-Guiding Pill), Yugong San (Efficacious Action Powder), or single-use Wuyou San (Carefree Powder) can be taken, adjusted according to deficiency or excess; after purgation, Guiling Wan (Cinnamon and Polyporus Pill), Wuling San (Five-Ingredient Poria Decoction), and Tingli Muxiang San (Descurainia and Costus Powder) should be used, treating it according to methods for resolving dampness and diarrhea. Alternatively, Dusheng San (Single Miracle Powder) can be used to induce vomiting. This applies to unmarried girls as well.

For women with amenorrhea, the same applies to unmarried girls. The *Neijing* states: "Amenorrhea is due to the closure of the uterine vessels." The uterine vessels belong to Fire and connect to the bladder (pa). Currently, Qi forces upward upon the Lung, and Heart Qi cannot descend and communicate, thus causing amenorrhea. Chatiao San (Tea Regulating Powder) can be used to induce vomiting; after vomiting, Yuzhu San (Jade Candle Powder), Danggui San (Angelica Powder), Sanhe Tang (Three-Harmony Decoction), Guiling Baizhu San (Cinnamon, Polyporus, and Atractylodes Macrocephala Powder), or Chaihu Yinzi (Bupleurum Infusion) can be selected based on deficiency or excess. These are medicines that descend Heart Fire, nourish Kidney Water, open the stomach to promote appetite, differentiate Yin and Yang, and promote urination. Harsh hot medicines must never be taken. If taken, they will transform into Fei Wei (Lung Atrophy), accompanied by bone-steaming tidal fever, cough with pus, hematemesis with wheezing, dysuria, persistent night sweats, gradually leading to emaciation and a large pulse; even if met by a good physician, it becomes incurable. Alas! Is human death merely due to fate?
