Method 1: Hook the big toe of the left foot with the right heel to dispel Wind-Bi (Wind-Obstruction Syndrome). Hook the big toe of the right foot with the left heel to dispue Jue (Cold Extremities/Reversal) and Bi syndrome. Alternately pull the dorsum of the feet with both hands and place them on the knees to dispel systemic Bi syndrome.
Method 2: Lie supine, bring the heads of both knees together, turn the soles of the feet upward, arch the waist to sit upright, inhale air through the mouth to distend the abdomen, holding until exhaustion for seven breaths. To dispel Bi pain, hot pain, and immobility of both lower legs.
Method 3: Sit in a squatting position, arch the waist, pull both heels with both hands, inhale through the nose, holding until exhaustion for seven breaths. Spread the knees apart and extend both arms. To dispel Bi syndrome and vomiting.
Method 4: Lie supine, straighten and extend both hands and feet, inhale through the nose, holding until exhaustion for seven breaths, then shake the feet thirty times before stopping. To dispel cold in the chest and feet, systemic Bi syndrome, and Jue Ni (Reversal Cold).
Method 5: Stand upright leaning against a wall while holding the breath (practicing Qi circulation), allowing the Qi to move from the head down to the feet. To cure Da Feng (Great Wind/Severe Stroke), Pian Ku (Hemiplegia), and various Bi syndromes.
Method 6: Place both hands on the ground on either side, arch the back to stretch the waist, stop after five breaths. To remove Wei Bi (Flaccidity and Obstruction) and benefit the Nine Orifices.
Method 7: Extend the toes of both feet upward, stop after five breaths, stretch the waist. To remove Back Bi syndrome and Pian Ku, enabling hearing. Long-term practice ensures no obstruction in the eyes, ears, and other sensory roots.
Method 8: In a squatting posture, extend the right leg, embrace the left knee with both hands, arch the waist, inhale through the nose, holding until exhaustion for seven breaths. To dispel difficulty in bending and extending, rising from bowing, and pain in the middle of the shins due to Bi syndrome.
Method 9: Arch both arms forward and hold the breath without exhaling, repeating nine cycles. To treat pain in the arms and feet, fatigue, Wind-Bi, and immobility.
Method 10: When one commonly feels stiffness in the spine and chest oppression, look up, strain the shoulders, and exert force upward. Turn the head to the left and right sides, pausing after twenty-one repetitions per side. Wait until the blood flow and Qi movement stabilize before proceeding. Start slowly and become faster later; do not start fast and slow down. If there is no illness, practice at three specific times: morning upon rising, noon, and sunset. For the Chen hour (7–9 AM), perform fourteen additional repetitions. To dispel cold-heat disorders, pain in the knees, spine, waist, neck, and nape, and Wind-Bi.
Method 11: Inhale through the nose, holding until exhaustion for seven breaths. To dispel lumbar Bi and back pain, oral ulcers, wind affecting the teeth, and dizziness completely.
Method 12: Lie supine, extend both lower legs and hands, point the toes upward, inhale through the nose, holding until exhaustion for seven breaths. To dispel sudden, tight, cutting abdominal pain.
Method 13: Lie supine, inhale through the mouth and exhale through the nose to dispel internal urgency and fullness. Swallow Qi dozens of times to warm the interior and dispel cold. For dry retching, vomiting, and abdominal pain: inhale approximately seventy times, vigorously vibrate the abdomen, swallow Qi multiple times, rub both hands together until hot, then massage the abdomen with the hot hands to guide the Qi downward.
Method 14: Lie supine, extend both feet and hands upward, inhale through the nose for seven breaths. To dispel sudden, tight, cutting abdominal pain.
