痘里乾坤最大。（痘丽于外，五经旋转，丽于阳者，阴以资转之，丽于阴者，阳以舒畅之，乾坤造化之
妙，阴阳合辟之机，其功最大者也。）门阑辅轴稀奇。（痘门有八，痘阑十有四，痘辅十有六，痘
轴一百六十有余，而以五经分注俱别，然门犯则荫之。阑阑助而犯门者不为害，阑萎则验其辅，辅正而
贼，阑者不为贼，其相维相顾之奇，世之稀少知之者故曰稀奇。）方广崇高空片，（天庭两旁为方广，
阳峻之所，崇高之位也。此宜空隙，若先标于此，为毒参阳位，凶之征也。）两阳地位凭虚。（两阳乃肝
肺二经之达道，云寰丘陵之地位所凭美者，贵乎空虚。）鼻准元阳流裔，（鼻之凰准，肺之所管，实元
阳所流之裔，种于此者，是阳明之正经而顺美。）眼眶座馘盘尸，（两眼眶浮，乃肝经之分也。痘标
馘座，盘尸甚为危逆。）人中不宜投辖。（人中，心脾所属，故不宜投辖也。）腮宫喜得悬珠，（腮宫，
脾之所属，若痘见如悬珠，甚为可喜者也。）挂彩钿于颧阜。（颧阜心之所属，彩钿者，五色所具而
为是，喻颧阜痘美也。）撇枭神于气枢，（气枢在于颈锁，气动之处，不宜投粒，而撇却其枭神于此处。
枭者，不孝之鸟，悖母而食。）张鬼罗于眉上。（凡日月辅角，两霞眉上，俱肺经之所属也。若张
罗网于斯，则肺受伤而凶。）垂鱼钩于两颐。（两腮及颐，胆之所属，若有垂鱼钩之形则脾伤泻逆而凶。）
天庭高位，莫令干将蹲踞，（莫邪、干将，是吴之神剑也。盖天庭乃部之崇高，君位也。干将凶杀之锋，
莫令蹲踞于斯，言痘之始达，不宜先标于此。）丝竹商丘，毋俾哀锆猿聚泣。（木落霜飞，哀猿聚泣，
拟猿之悲愁，喻夫凶兆耳。丝竹在眉后，商丘在足内踝，皆系肝位，而属木，是以两眼悬上下，先标而
多者，名为哀猿聚泣，必致损伤者也。）怕唇轩之投粒，（夫上唇红之中，名为唇轩，属于心，而迫
于肾，以此先形，则相犯也，故痘怕于此而先标焉。）忌地阁之荣枝。（地阁肾之所属，于此先行而
腮宫美丽者，亦为无妨，如腮颊不辅，而独于此荣枝者，实为肾经痘，必灰煤黑陷矣。）要识枭红罩锦，
还征胸口缠珠，（凡痘犯心肝二经者，则枭红罩锦，或色带焦紫，又当征验胸口缠凑，珠纹如何？而
随与清理之。）喉突呈形连搭，嗽逆肺气嚣漓。（喉突肺经所属，若呈形连搭则肺气嚣漓而嗽逆。）
食仓 子营窠，呕吐脾君失主。（食仓脾之所属，标形而如 子营寞，则知脾主失传送而呕吐。）指梢
冰冷兮，痘必重于阴俞，（未痘之前，手足指梢冰冷者，则天元弗克充托，必五俞之处，密而重
恶矣。）头疼流汗兮，毒自捐于上池。（痘未形而头痛流汗者，痘必丽于心经，而枭炎之毒不潜逆于
下自捐注于上焦之阳池，其痘必少矣。谓之池者，蓄元水以养之之名也。）腮井叠钱兮，防泄泻于尾闾，
（痘形而腮井如叠钱，则脾土失职，而尾闾防泄泻之危。）颧脸游蚕兮，惧痘入于椒皮。（游蚕者，
六七颗相连也凡颧脸如游蚕，则必焦皮，而为不救。）右太阳之扬帜兮，结虚泡于轴卢，（右太阳之阳
炽者，是先标于右太阳之丰丘，山林等处也。经于肺络，潜居崇位，则虚泡必结于手足之轴卢矣。）
左太阳之系 兮，知鼻衄以遭虞。（左太阳，系 者，言先标于左太阳之丰丘山林等地处也，经于肝络，
毒峻于上，则必衄血，以遭紫陷之虞。）两仓丰溢，五经自如，（凡食仓禄仓囊窠丰浓，则血气滋养，
而五经目裕如也。）双霞明畅，六腑无亏。（凡繁霞、双霞而明畅润美，则传送之官不失职，而六腑无
亏矣。）欲逐卷帘，速察赤帝之通衢，（凡痘舌上生疔名曰卷帘，疔则枭毒凑心，则欲祛逐
之，速察赤帝通衢之痘，而清降心经之火，赤帝通衢者，胸阜颧蜂是也。）谙究燕窝，应明少阴之拂拒。
（两腋生疔，名曰燕窝疔，若欲谙究其因，当明少阴心之拂拒。而水火不能相洽也。）疔不注于玄门，
水能克火，夫疔从枭突而发，故疔毒之起，决不经于肾玄之门路，以其水能克火也。）斑必启于传脾，阳
明受辱。（夫斑必启于四五日，传脾之际，则知阳明受枭炎之辱矣。）眉心宜广扩一片云遮归冥
路，（夫眉心之地，乃命之所主也，故宜广扩，倘若 窠连搭，则为一片云遮九日之期，而归其冥路矣。）
气窝素清朗，三星垂照必鸱鸣。（项颈气窝，肺金之元所系，此处素宜清朗，而忽见标者，则为二星垂照，
必枭毒上冲、而痰嗽故曰鸱鸣。）乳盘交垒，端知烦燥卷床飞，（两乳盘生，交相垒块，则犯心经矣。
故知其烦燥不宁。而卷床飞焉。）脐麓旋珠，预报脾胃多泻逆。（脐封生呼，而痘珠旋转，绕团则痘逆于
脾、而泻逆所不免矣。）诸痘未启而眼角先黄，木未霜而叶脱，（两角俱属于肝木，若诸痘未曾启鼎，
而眼角浆先蜡黄，此犹木之未经于霜而遂脱其叶，兹因天元勿克滋 ，故清阳之地先黄也。）浆未灌而右
阳先白，金不扣而妖声。（如遍身未曾灌浆，而右阳先白色者，是犹金之不扣而有声乃为妖矣。兹因肺气
嚣漓，枭炎蒸逼所致，非正浆也。）肺络经于鼻沿，慎尔矢音，（鼻沿乃肺终所维也，若先标而密，则
防咳嗽失音。）心经达于脸底，恶哉疔毒。（两脸颧底心以所属，若先形而繁红重密者，则枭炎攻凑，
必生疔斑焦紫而死。）俯首承花花不艳，阳绝于中，（凡痘而天桂骨倒，其头重俯下不起者，其痘必不能
振发，如花之不能丽艳矣，此是元阳绝于中耳。）翻睛见点点珠明，阴驰于外。（凡未形之前，竖眼
翻睛，惊厥四五次，而随见者，则痘必如珠美丽，此是元阳辅驰于外，而不潜匿于内矣。）龟头一粒似
樱桃，气血调和而不匿，（凡阳物者，乃肾阳聚于斯，阳明振于斯，故其间一粒，似樱桃之形色，可知
气血调和，毒不用匿矣。）项颈紧锁若盘蛇，枭毒攻冲而难峻。（夫项颈乃肺气出入之要。若痘窠则锁缠
绕如盘蛇形，则知枭毒攻冲而难鼎峻矣。）标状元于三镇，福地争先，（三镇者，额、鼻、地闾是也。此三
处各见一颗，是阴阳互藏其根，实痘中之状元，而难得也，故曰福地争先也。）列北斗于五岳，神天
普曜。（凡两颧各一颗，鼻准一颗，司空分缀三颗，是为列北斗于五岳，其症必明朗美丽，谓之神天普曜也。）
双钳禁口食，焉能以下咽！（凡两唇中各痘一颗，则如双钳禁口，必不食而死。）一鹄冲心，气必至于呵
欠。（胸前而痘先形者，是为一鹄冲心，则肺金牿于枭炎，故知其气必疲倦而呵欠矣。）背似撒麻须晓上方
梅白，（夫痘而背后如麻种之撒者，则痘逆于二阴，而头额间毒必灰白色，故曰上方梅白。）脸若镶珠，
自知下部桃红。（凡脸颧上鼎峻肥，明若珠之镶嵌者，则五经调顺而下部之痘自知，其桃红之润美矣。）
口吐白沫肺炎熬，（凡患痘而口吐白沫者，是肺炎之熬灼也。）眼流清泪肝荣 。（凡患痘而眼流清泪
者，是肝血之滋 泡于内也。）虎口垒钱一握，何能启鼎？（凡两手虎口如垒钱样，而满一握，则阳明不能
恢扩，血气何能启鼎于上耶？）鱼尾摇铃，勺水自难活泼。（夫鱼尾肺之部也，在眼角之上，如痘形
连块，如悬铃之象，则枭淫冲激已甚，而一勺之水，焉能活泼而致其润泽耶！）泪堂结椒实，四肢铁叶重
重，（夫眼眶为泪堂，而痘结椒实，则知四肢上下必铁叶重重，而无真元之美矣。）嵩岳吐石榴，
五大夭桃灼灼。（五大者，人身一头两足两手，如大字样，故曰五大。凡头而嵩岳之所而痘如石榴，则五
大必夭桃灼灼而美矣。）水窠沿口，虚泡纽于脐封，（凡口沿出痘如水窠，则脾土伤而阳明耗，后必起
虚泡于脐封纽绊之。）黄蜡铺唇，真元绝于玄窖。（凡诸痘未浆，而唇上先黄蜡色者，爰谓未熟脾先熟。
浆黄不是黄，此因真元之绝于玄窖不能上滋耳。）摆头缩颈不安祥，腰锥疔毒，（凡痘六七日之际，头
摆不宁，颈缩不伸，弗克安祥者，此必疔毒锥于腰胁耳。）撒手号声不嗜卧，腹纳枭炎。（凡手撒乱掷，
声呼颠叫而不嗜卧者，必因枭炎纳于肚腹耳。）鼻冲一直煤兮，少阴蒸郁。（夫鼻乃肺之窍，若鼻冲一
直煤黑者，是火呈肺部，势必败伤也。）口中臭气喷兮，阳明溃烂。（若六七朝之间，口中臭气喷出者，
是枭炎攻灼，而阳明乃溃烂耳。）未三日而颧骨有黄囊，诚为芝生午位，（凡痘三四日间，鼎峻光明，颧
阜澄浆有黄囊者，诚为佳候，如芝生午位，盖芝最难得。午者，属火，颧系午位，故取喻之。）期六朝而
年寿，启紫泡号曰鸱入天门。（凡六朝而年寿鼻上起紫泡者，是枭毒攻冲于内，号曰鸱入天门，鸱系恶鸟，
喻其不佳也。）两眼碧睁睁。五气分散而难医，（夫精华聚于两眼，若患痘而两眼碧绿无精，光睁睁不转
活者，则五气分散矣。何医之有？）一声连翕翕，三阴耗损而必夭。（凡喉内紧涩，声连翕翕，而不能
恪者，则肺气漓而三阴耗损矣，必罗于夭亡。）欲知两腋聚蜂螫，但看脸底形焦，（凡痘经于心肝，
而欲知两腋之下结疔如蜂螫者，但看脸底之痘形焦，则疔必结于痘矣。）既验气锁漆葡萄，遂觉身中
黑陷。（夫气锁在喉突下，凡于此而似漆染葡萄者，则阴遂乎阳，故觉痘必黑陷矣。）眼泡上浮绿色兮，
生
者之征，（青苗关分于两眼泡，若于此而肥润绿色浮焉，则生者之征也。）正额间竦黄豆兮，安全之兆。
（夫元阳会于头额，若于此高垒肥明如黄豆，则为安全之兆。）夹颈作瘿，何必卢门觅剂，（凡痘
见形而夹颈之瘿随发者，则必不能鼎灌矣，何必卢门觅剂耶！）舌根座蝗，速宜医国求丹，（凡舌根
生疔，如虺蛇之螫，命在旦夕，又急救之。）腮井隐痈毒，只怕漏谷害成。（夫两腮之中名腮井也。
痘后而暴发于此，必至成漏，名漏谷者，盖七窍之处为井谷，夫腮系无骨虚境、漏谷也。）耳边马刀
随，必迎枭炎肿胀，（马刀者，瘰 类也。未痘之先，耳边随结马刀，其势必迎枭炎肿胀溃破而危。）
小腹沉石而尿涩，子痈患于阴囊。（凡小腹紧并绞痛，如石之硬实，膀胱闭结而尿涩不通者，因
枭毒注于小肠，必至痈患阴囊矣。）喉管燥咽而胁刺，毒菩牢于肠胃，（凡喉管燥而难咽食，两胁刺
痛而不可忍者，是痘毒菩燥于阳明，而肠胃俱受其枭炎之害矣。）睛红舌 口渴枯，急查发际，
（凡眼红睛赤，舌常舒 ，口内恶渴干澡而无津液者，此枭毒凑于少阴，而玄池弗克以滋 渴，且血热
毒甚，则生疔于发际之处矣。）筋抽脚震作鸦声，须察公孙。（凡筋带抽缩脚股震动，口作鸦声者，舌乃心
之所出，筋乃肝之所生，此枭毒凑于心肝，故于足公孙之穴，乃结疔毒，宜须详察。）倏然眩厥，肺络客
感风邪，（痘际忽然眩厥者，是风邪感于肺络也。）连日谵狂，心宫驰入枭毒。（凡连日谵语癫狂者，
此因枭炎驰入心宫，故热极烦燥耳。）恶日光之照耀，阴复乎阴，（凡恶日光照耀之明者，则元阳散而
三阴绝矣，必致归复乎幽阴之地。）怕人声之惊惧，阳离乎阳。（凡闻人声惊惧而畏怕者，贝真元绝于五
经，而阳明离乎正阳，必难久生矣。）锦纹如蚤咬，少阴血分戕伤，（凡锦纹如蚊蚤所咬者，则少阴心主
被枭炎之戕贼而受伤矣。）囊房如土蚨，阳明胃气失养。（痘如土蚨之壳者，则知玄窖绝其元，枭炎
肆其虐，阳明失其滋养也。）痘经心而犯子晨，竟名变乱，余者一例相推，（凡痘经心者，而于子日标焉，
则水能克火，故其竟后必多变乱而不鼎峻，其余可例推之。）兔年育而遭寅月，终拘参商，举隅足以
自反。（参商者，二星名也。一星在于黄昏出见，一星在于天晓出见，喻其不能聚首也。盖卯年生者属兔，
若遇寅月出痘属虎，兔遇虎，则有吞噬之凶，而终拘于参商矣。举一隅可以三隅反。）发肾见黑，
黑可转而为红，（凡一日发于肾，而遂见黑点者，由于心火之煽惑，凡物出于火者，色必黑，但在于一
日发肾之际，日数尚少，急用清凉升表，犹可于旋，惟在多日，则血干热炽，欲治晚矣。）传脾益黄，
黄自充而结蜡。（凡痘传脾五六日之间，而囊房澄浆益加黄润者，则充实结蜡，无他虞矣。）担日月于两
掌心，忌缠破泡，（凡痘先出于左掌心者为担日，先由于右掌心者为担月，若于手足辅内破泡紧缠者，
是栏中之最忌也。）丽奇花于鼻直柱，喜见盘珠。（凡痘于鼻直柱一带定形，故为奇美，然痘所喜见者，
惟形之若盘珠者耳。）不愁连片牵缠，只怕犯经逆道，（凡痘布列连片，牵缠密点者，此不必虑，惟
犯于经络，逆于正道者，是可畏耳。）汗滋滋而头痛，才识心干乎胃，（胃主肌肉，凡痘之前，若心
干乎胃，则肌肉开泄，汗出滋滋，且火性炎上，是以头痛耳。）吐频频而火烙，随知肺逆乎脾。（凡肺
犯脾，则脾火灼金，火性炎上，炎热毒上注，乃为呕吐，内火熏蒸外亦火烙，俱属叶痘而为凶。惟
The universe contained within smallpox is the greatest. (Smallpox manifests on the exterior, rotating through the five meridians. Those manifesting in the Yang aspect are assisted by Yin for rotation; those manifesting in the Yin aspect are smoothed and unblocked by Yang. This embodies the wonder of Qian and Kun's creation, and the mechanism of Yin and Yang opening and closing, whose function is paramount.) The gates, fences, assistants, and axes of smallpox are rare and wondrous. (There are eight gates, fourteen fences, sixteen assistants, and over one hundred sixty axes for smallpox, each distinctly assigned to the five meridians. However, if a gate is violated, it is shaded by others. If fences assist but violate the gate, they do not cause harm. If fences atrophy, one must verify the assistants; if assistants are upright and the "thief" is in the fence, it does not act as a thief. The rarity of knowledge regarding this mutual maintenance and regard makes it "rare and wondrous.") Fangguang (the area beside the forehead) is lofty and empty. (Fanguang refers to the areas beside the forehead, which are lofty positions where Yang Qi is vigorous. These areas should be clear; if pustules appear here first, it indicates poison invading the Yang position, a sign of凶险 (ominousness).) The status of Liangyang (Liver and Lung meridians) relies on emptiness. (Liangyang refers to the pathways of the Liver and Lung meridians, like the terrain of clouds and hills, prized for being empty and unobstructed.)
The nose tip (Bizhun) is the descendant of flowing Yuan Yang. (The nose is governed by the Lungs and is actually the place where Yuan Yang flows. Seeded here is the proper meridian of Yangming, which should be smooth and beautiful.) The eye sockets sit like severed heads or corpses, indicating danger and reversal. (Swelling of the eye sockets belongs to the Liver meridian. Pustules sitting here like severed heads or corpses are very dangerous and reversed.) The Renzhong point should not have particles [pustules]. (Renzhong belongs to the Heart and Spleen, so it should not have pustules.) The Saigong (cheek palace) delights in hanging pearls. (Saigong belongs to the Spleen; if pustules appear like hanging pearls, it is very auspicious.) Colorful ornaments hang on the Zhenfu (cheekbones). (Zhenfu belongs to the Heart; "colorful ornaments" refer to the beauty of the five colors, metaphorically describing beautiful pustules on the cheekbones.) Xiao Shen (Owl Spirit) is cast aside at the Qishu (Qi pivot). (Qishu is located near the neck lock, a place of Qi movement, where particles should not appear. It should be cast aside like the "Xiao" (owl), an unfilial bird that eats its mother.) Ghost nets are spread above the eyebrows. (The areas of Sunyue, Fujiao, and the two eyebrow mists belong to the Lung meridian. If nets are spread here with many pustules, the Lungs are injured, indicating an ominous sign.) Fish hooks hang from the two Yi (jawlines). (The cheeks and jawline belong to the Gallbladder. If they take the shape of hanging fish hooks, the Spleen is injured, leading to diarrhea and reversal, which is ominous.)
At the high position of the Tianting (forehead), do not let Ganjiang [a sword] squat. (Moye and Ganjiang are divine swords of Wu. Tianting is the lofty position of the head, symbolizing the ruler. Ganjiang is a blade of fierce killing; do not let it squat here. This means when smallpox first emerges, it should not appear here first.) At Sizhu and Shangqiu, do not allow sorrowful apes to gather and weep. (Falling leaves and flying frost, sorrowful apes gathering and weeping, mimic the grief of apes, metaphorically representing an ominous sign. Sizhu is behind the eyebrows, Shangqiu is at the inner ankle of the foot; both relate to the Liver position and belong to Wood. If many pustules appear first above and below the eyes, it is named "Sorrowful Apes Gathering and Weeping," inevitably causing damage.) Fear particles falling into the Chuanxuan (lip pavilion). (The middle of the upper red lip is called Chuanxuan, belonging to the Heart and pressing against the Kidney. If pustules form here first, it is a violation, so smallpox fears appearing here first.) Avoid branches flourishing at the Dige (chin). (Dige belongs to the Kidney. If pustules grow here first while Saigong is beautiful, it is harmless. But if Saigeng does not assist and only here do branches flourish, it is truly Kidney meridian smallpox, which will turn gray-black and sink.)
To recognize "Xiao Hong Zhao Jin" (Owl Red Covering Brocade), one must also verify "Xiongkou Chan Zhu" (Chest Wrapped Pearls). (When smallpox invades the Heart and Liver meridians, "Xiao Hong Zhao Jin" appears, or the color turns scorched purple. One must also verify the chest wrapping situation and pearl patterns, then proceed with clearing and regulating treatment.) Throat protrusion shows shape and connection; coughing and reversal indicate Lung Qi is rampant and dripping. (Throat protrusion belongs to the Lung meridian. If shapes connect, Lung Qi becomes rampant, leading to coughing and reversal.) Shicang Ziying Ke (Food Granary Child Camp Nest): vomiting occurs because the Spleen Lord loses control. (Shicang belongs to the Spleen. If pustule shapes resemble child camp nests, one knows the Spleen Master has lost its transporting function, causing vomiting.) Finger tips are cold; smallpox must be heavy at the Yin Shu points. (Before smallpox emerges, if finger tips are cold, Tian Yuan Qi cannot support, and the Five Shu points will be dense and severely malignant.) Headache with sweating; poison naturally abandons itself to the Upper Pool. (If headache and sweating occur before smallpox forms, smallpox attaches to the Heart meridian. The fierce fire poison does not hide reversely below but abandons itself to the Upper Jiao Yang Pool. Such smallpox is scarce. "Pool" refers to storing Yuan Water to nourish it.) Saijing Dieqian (Cheek Well Stacked Coins): beware of diarrhea at Weiilu (tailgate). (If smallpox forms and Saijing looks like stacked coins, Spleen Earth loses its duty, and one must beware of dangerous diarrhea at Weiilu.) Quanlian Youcan (Cheek Face Wandering Silkworm): fear smallpox entering Jiaopi (pepper skin). ("Wandering silkworm" refers to six or seven connected spots. If cheek faces look like wandering silkworms, skin will scorch, becoming incurable.) Right Taiyang raises flags; empty blisters knot at Zhulu. (Right Taiyang Yang heat is intense, appearing first at Right Taiyang Fengqiu, Shanlin, etc. Passing through Lung collaterals and hiding in lofty positions, empty blisters will knot at the Zhulu of hands and feet.) Left Taiyang ties knots; know nasal hemorrhage brings disaster. (Left Taiyang tying knots means appearing first at Left Taiyang Fengqiu, Shanlin, etc. Passing through Liver collaterals, poison is severe above, leading to nasal hemorrhage and risk of purple sinking.) Two Cang granaries are full; Five Meridians are free. (If Shicang and Lucang nests are full and thick, Blood and Qi nourish, and the Five Meridians are ample.) Double Xia are bright and smooth; Six Fu organs are not deficient. (If Fanxia and Double Xia are bright, smooth, and beautiful, the organ of transmission does not lose its duty, and Six Fu organs are not deficient.)
To drive away Juanlian (Rolling Curtain) ding, quickly observe the thoroughfare of Chidi (Red Emperor). (A ding on the tongue caused by smallpox is called Juanlian. Ding means fierce poison gathers at the Heart. To驱逐 (expel) it, quickly observe the Chidi Thoroughfare [Chest Peak, Bee Cheek] smallpox and clear/descend Heart Fire. Chidi Thoroughfare refers to Chest Peak and Bee Cheek.) Understand Yanwo (Swallow's Nest); clarify Shaoyin's rejection. (A ding in both armpits is called Yanwo Ding. To understand its cause, one must clarify Shaoyin Heart's rejection, where Water and Fire cannot harmonize.) Ding does not inject into Xuanmen; Water can overcome Fire. (Ding erupts from fierce protrusions, so Ding poison rise does not pass through the Kidney Xuan gate, because Water overcomes Fire.) Ban (macules) must start during Pi-transmission; Yangming suffers humiliation. (Ban starts on days 4-5, during Pi-transmission, knowing Yangming suffers fierce fire humiliation.) Meixin (between eyebrows) should be broad like cloud cover returning to dark path. (Meixin is where Life is master, so it should be broad. If nests connect, it is like cloud covering nine days, returning to dark path.) Qiwo is usually clear; Three Stars hanging down must hear Owl Cry. (Neck Qiwo is tied to Lung Metal Yuan. It should be clear. If pustules suddenly appear, it is Two Stars hanging down, meaning fierce poison rushes up, causing phlegm-cough, hence Owl Cry.) Rupan (breast discs) stack upon each other; surely know restlessness rolling bed flying. (Breast discs growing and stacking invade Heart meridian. Thus, restlessness and bed-rolling occur.) Nilu (navel base) spinning pearls; foretells Spleen/Stomach diarrhea and reversal. (Navel seal produces pustules spinning in circles; smallpox reverses at Spleen, making diarrhea inevitable.)
