Grind all above into fine powder. Take 3 qian each time, mixed with wine. For livestock injuries forming sores, administer with wine. Additionally, sprinkle dry cold-water stone powder (*Han Shui Shi*) on the wound.
[Luo Tianyi] Ding Feng San treats rabid dog bites. First rinse the mouth and wound with jiangshui (fermented grain liquid), wipe dry with cotton, then apply the medicine. It will not recur again, with great efficacy.

Stir-fry with a small amount of glutinous rice on a new tile until the rice turns yellow-brown. Remove the rice, do not use it. Grind the mylabris beetles into powder, mix with good wine, and take orally. If the patient can drink alcohol, take another cup. If the injury is upper body, take after meals; if lower body, take on an empty stomach. Toxic matter must be discharged via urination that day, resembling a small dog shape. If not discharged, take again the next day. Continue until toxic matter is expelled. Even if taken up to seven doses without expulsion, it is harmless. After taking the medicine, abdominal discomfort and stinging pain in the urethra are expected; do not worry, this indicates toxin attack and impending discharge. For severe pain, take one spoonful of turnip greens (*Wu Jing*) decocted with licorice (*Gan Cao*) soup to stop pain. If no turnip greens, indigo naturalis (*Qing Dai*) is also acceptable. After recovery, urgently take large amounts of angelica dahurica (*Xiang Bai Zhi*) and a little realgar (*Xiong Huang*) ground into powder, mixed with fresh juice of Chinese chive roots (*Jiu Gen*) and taken with hot water or wine. To detoxify mylabris, rinse mouth with clean water, chew raw white part of scallion (*Cong Bai*) and apply to the wound, leaving a small hole for toxic gas to escape. Do not apply other herbal medicines. Avoid dog, pig, sheep, and wind-inducing toxic foods. Adjust mylabris dosage for children according to age. Those ill from eating insane dog meat are treated similarly and recover. If relapse occurs after two or three years, treat as before.

Use the final seven, stir-fry as before, until rice emits blue smoke. Remove beetles, do not use them. Grind the rice into powder. Mix with cold water and a little clear oil, take on an empty stomach. Shortly after, take another dose. Stop when foul matter is discharged via urination. If not discharged, take another dose. If abdominal pain occurs after discharge, urgently take indigo dye (*Qing Dian*) mixed with cold water to resolve toxicity, otherwise harm may occur. Decocted coptis (*Huang Lian*) water is also suitable. Do not eat hot food immediately; mixing Yi Yuan San with water is particularly excellent.
