条文：小儿□疮入眼中，赤肿难开涩泪疼，久生云翳如银色，肝经余热上冲睛，
红花散用草归地，赤芍军翘紫草红。
方剂：红花散方
甘草 当归尾 生地黄 赤芍药 大黄 连翘 紫草 红花各五分
右为粗末，灯心草十茎，竹叶十片为引，以水一盏半，煎至五分，食远去
渣温服。
【注】[1]小儿□疮之证，因患痘时疮生眼中，赤肿难开，涩泪羞明疼痛，久则
生翳如银色，此乃痘后，肝经余热上攻睛瞳所致。
[2]宜用红花散，清热散瘀，其证自愈。

右为粗末，以水二盏，煎至一盏，去渣温服。
【注】[1]行经目痛者，女子遇经行之际，眼目涩痛，头疼眩晕，肿涩难开，生
翳于黑睛上，或如粟米，或花翳白陷。
[2]此因经行去血过多，肝经虚损故也。
[3]宜用当归补血汤治之。

Clause: In infants, when smallpox sores enter the eyes, the eyes become red and swollen, difficult to open, with astringency, tearing, and pain. If prolonged, a silver-colored nebula (cloudy opacity) may form on the cornea. This is caused by residual heat in the Liver channel rushing upward to the eyes.
One should use Honghua San (Safflower Powder), which contains Gancao (Licorice Root), Dangguiwei (Tail of Angelica Sinensis), Shengdihuang (Rehmannia Root), Chishao (Red Peony Root), Dahuang (Rhubarb Root), Lianqiao (Forsythia Fruit), Zicao (Arnebia Root), and Honghua (Safflower).
Formula: Honghua San (Safflower Powder)
Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae), Dangguiwei (Caudex of Radix Angelicae Sinensis), Shengdihuang (Radix Rehmanniae Recens), Chishao (Radix Paeoniae Rubra), Dahuang (Radix et Rhizoma Rhei), Lianqiao (Fructus Forsythiae), Zicao (Radix Arnebiae), and Honghua (Flos Carthami Tinctorii), each 5 fen.
Grind the above herbs into a coarse powder. Use ten stalks of Dengxincao (Pith of Juncus Effusus) and ten leaves of Zhuye (Leaf of Bambusa Tuldoides) as guides. Add one and a half cups of water, decoct until half a cup remains, remove the dregs, and take warm.
Annotation [1]: The condition of smallpox sores entering the eyes in children occurs when sores from smallpox manifest in the eyes, causing redness, swelling, difficulty opening, astringency, tearing, photophobia, and pain. Over time, a silver-like nebula forms. This is due to residual heat in the Liver channel attacking the pupil after the resolution of smallpox.
Annotation [2]: It is appropriate to use Honghua San (Safflower Powder) to clear heat and dissipate blood stasis, allowing the condition to heal spontaneously.
Clause: Women experiencing eye dryness and pain during menstruation, accompanied by vertigo, headache, and the formation of nebulae, suffer from Liver damage due to excessive blood loss.
One should use Danggui Buxue Tang (Angelica Tonifying Blood Decoction), which contains Bohe (Mint Herb), Qianghuo (Notopterygium Rhizome), Chongweizi (Seed of Leonurus Japonicus), Chaihu (Bupleurum Root), Jili (Seed of Tribulus Terrestris), Juhua (Chrysanthemum Flower), Fangfeng (Saposhnikovia Root), Gancao (Licorice Root), Shengdihuang (Rehmannia Root), Danggui (Angelica Sinensis Root), Baishao (White Peony Root), and Chuanxiong (Ligusticum Rhizome).
Formula: Danggui Buxue Tang (Angelica Tonifying Blood Decoction)
Bohe (Herba Menthae Haplocalycis) 5 fen, Qianghuo (Rhizoma Notopterygii) 5 fen, Chongweizi (Fructus Leonuri Japonici) 1 qian, Chaihu (Radix Bupleuri) 8 fen, Jili (Semen Tribuli Terrestris) 1 qian, Juhua (Flos Chrysanthemi Morifolii) 8 fen, Fangfeng (Radix Saposhnikoviae) 8 fen, Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae) 4 fen, Shengdihuang (Radix Rehmanniae Recens) 2 qian, Danggui (Radix Angelicae Sinensis) 1.5 qian, Baishao (Radix Paeoniae Alba) 1 qian, Chuanxiong (Rhizoma Ligustici Chuanxiong) 8 fen.
Grind the above herbs into a coarse powder. Add two cups of water, decoct until one cup remains, remove the dregs, and take warm.
Annotation [1]: Menstrual eye pain refers to the condition where women experience dry, painful eyes, headache, vertigo, swollen and dry eyelids that are difficult to open, and the formation of nebulae on the cornea during menstruation. The nebulae may resemble millet grains or present as floral opacities with white depressions.
Annotation [2]: This is caused by excessive blood loss during menstruation, leading to deficiency and damage in the Liver channel.
