条文：黑翳如珠黑睛上，形如珠子黑而圆，泪出羞涩疼痛甚，大人肝肾虚风愆。
通明补肾丸可服，小儿患此名眼疳，羚羊角饮硝黄细，知母羚防一并煎。

芒硝一钱 大黄一钱 细辛五分 知母一钱 羚羊角（镑）一钱 防风二

右为粗末，以水二盏，煎至一 盏，食远温服。
【注】[1]黑翳如珠之证，黑睛上有黑翳，圆如珠子之形，泪出羞涩难开，疼痛
极甚。
[2]若大人患此证，为肝、肾虚热风邪，宜用通明补肾丸。
[3]小儿患此证，为实热眼疳，宜服羚羊角饮，泄其实热也。

【注】[1]伤寒热病后患目者，因余热末清，过食辛热，两热合邪，以致瞳人散
大，时见黑花，隐涩泪多，红肿疼痛。
[2]宜用生犀饮，清解其热也。

Line: Black翳 like a pearl appears on the cornea (Heijing), shaped black and round like a bead, accompanied by tearing, photophobia, and severe pain; in adults, this is caused by deficiency of the Liver and Kidney leading to wind pathogen invasion.
Tongming Bushen Wan (Nourishing Kidney Pill for Clarity) may be taken; when children suffer from this condition, it is called Eye Kan (Ophthalmic Malnutrition), and Lingyang Jiao Yin (Antelope Horn Decoction) combined with Mangxiao (Mirabilite), Dahuang (Rhubarb Root and Rhizome), Xixin (Asarum), Zhimu (Anemarrhena Rhizome), Lingyangjiao (Antelope Horn), and Fangfeng (Saposhnikovia Root) should be decocted together.
Formula: Tongming Bushen Wan formula is seen under "Insufficiency in Initial Onset of Five Winds"
Lingyang Jiao Zi (Antelope Horn Drink)
Mangxiao (Mirabilite) - 1 qian
Dahuang (Rhubarb Root and Rhizome) - 1 qian
Xixin (Asarum) - 5 fen
Zhimu (Anemarrhena Rhizome) - 1 qian
Lingyangjiao (Antelope Horn) (powdered) - 1 qian
Fangfeng (Saposhnikovia Root) - 2 qian
Grind the above into coarse powder, add two cups of water, decoct until one cup remains, and take warm after meals.
[Note] [1] The syndrome of Black翳 like a pearl involves a black翳 on the cornea, round like a bead, with tearing, photophobia making opening difficult, and extreme pain.
[2] If adults suffer from this syndrome, it is due to wind-heat pathogen from Liver and Kidney deficiency; Tongming Bushen Wan should be used.
[3] If children suffer from this syndrome, it is real-heat Eye Kan; Lingyang Jiao Yin should be taken to drain the real heat.
Line: After Shanghan (Cold Damage), residual heat persists, and excessive consumption of pungent foods causes pupil dilation, frequent appearance of black spots before the eyes, astringency, frequent tearing, redness, swelling, and pain; Shengxi Yin (Raw Rhinoceros Horn Drink) can be used, containing Lingyangjiao (Antelope Horn), Fangfeng (Saposhnikovia Root), Huangqin (Scutellaria Root), Jiegeng (Platycodon Root), Zhimu (Anemarrhena Rhizome), Huangqin (Scutellaria Root), and Renshen (Ginseng Root).
Formula: Shengxi Yin
Sheng Xijiao (Raw Rhinoceros Horn) - 2 qian
Lingyangjiao (Antelope Horn) - 1 qian
Fangfeng (Saposhnikovia Root) - 1 qian
Huangqin (Scutellaria Root) - 1 qian
Jiegeng (Platycodon Root) - 1.5 qian
Zhimu (Anemarrhena Rhizome) - 1 qian
Fuling (Poria) - 1 qian
Renshen (Ginseng Root) - 1 qian
Grind the above into coarse powder, add two cups of water, decoct until one cup remains, remove dregs, and take warm.
[Note] [1] Ocular disorders following Shanghan febrile diseases occur because residual heat has not cleared, and excessive consumption of pungent-hot foods combines the two heats as pathogens, causing pupil dilation, frequent vision of black spots, astringency with excessive tearing, redness, swelling, and pain.
[2] Shengxi Yin should be used to clear and resolve the heat.
