《洞玄子》云∶考核交接之势，更不出于三十法。其间有屈伸俯仰，出入浅深，大大是
同，小小有异，可谓哲囊都尽，采摭无遗，余遂像其势而录其名，假其形而建其号，知音君
子，穷其志之妙矣。
一、叙绸缪。
二、申缱绻（不离散也）。
三、曝鳃鱼。
四、骐麟角。
（以上四势之外，游戏势皆是一等也。）
五、蚕缠绵。
（女仰卧，两手向上抱男顿，以两脚交于男背上，男以两手抱女项，跪女股间，即纳玉
茎。）
六、龙宛转。
（女仰卧，屈两脚，男跪女股内，以左手推女两脚向前，令过于乳，右手把玉茎纳玉门
中。）
七、鱼比目。
（男女俱卧，女以一脚置男上，面相向， 口嗍舌，男展两脚，以手担女上脚，进玉茎。）
八、燕同心。
（令女仰卧，展其足，男骑女，伏肚上，以两手抱女颈。女两手抱男腰，以玉茎纳于丹
穴中。）
九、翡翠交。
（令女仰卧拳足，男胡跪，开着脚，坐女股中，以两手抱女腰，进玉茎于琴弦中。）
十、鸳鸯合。
（令女侧卧，举两脚安男股上，男于女背后骑女下脚之上，竖一膝置女上股，纳玉茎。）
十一、翻空蝶。
（男仰卧，展两足，女坐男上正面，两脚据床，乃以手助为力，进阳锋于玉门之中。）
十二、背飞凫。
（男仰卧，展两足，女背面坐于男上，女足据床，低头抱男玉茎，纳于丹穴中。）
十三、偃盖松。
（令女交脚向上，男以两手抱女腰，女两手抱男项，纳玉茎于玉门中。）
十四、临坛竹。
（男女俱相向立，呜口相抱于丹穴，以阳锋深投于丹穴，没至阳台中。）
十五、鸾双舞。
（男女一仰一覆，仰者举脚，覆者骑上，两阴相向，男箕坐，看玉物攻击上下。）
十六、凤将雏。
（妇人肥大，用一小男共交接，大俊也。）
十七、海鸥翔。
（男临床边，擎女脚以令举，男以玉茎入于子宫之中。）
十八、野马跃。
（令女仰卧，男擎女两脚，登左右肩上，深纳玉茎于玉门之中。）
十九、骥骋足。
（令女仰卧，男蹲，左手捧女项，右手擎女脚，即以玉茎纳入于子宫中。）
二十、马摇蹄。
（令女仰卧，男擎女一脚置于肩上，一脚自攀之，深纳玉茎，入于丹穴中，大兴哉。）
二十一、白虎腾。
（令人伏面跪膝，男跪女后，两手抱女腰，纳玉茎于子宫中。）
二十二、玄蝉附。
（令女伏卧而展足，男居股内，屈其足，两手抱女项，从后纳玉茎入玉门中。）
二十三、山羊对树。
（男箕坐，令女背面坐男上，女自低头视纳玉茎，男急抱女腰碜勒也。）
二十四、 鸡临场。
（男胡蹲床上坐，令一小女当抱玉茎，纳女玉门。一女于后牵女裙衿，令其足快，大
兴哉。）
二十五、丹穴凤游。
（令女仰卧，以两手自举其脚，男跪女后，以两手据床，以纳玉茎于丹穴，甚俊。）
二十六、玄溟鹏翥。
（令女仰卧，男取女两脚置左右膊上，以手向下抱女腰，以纳玉茎。）
二十七、吟猿抱树。
（男箕坐，女骑男髀上，以两手抱男，男以一手扶女尻，纳玉茎，一手据床。）
二十八、猫鼠同穴。
（男仰卧，以展足，女伏男上，深纳玉茎；又男伏女背上，以将玉茎，攻击于玉门中。）
二十九、三春驴。
（女两手两脚俱据床，男立其后，以两手抱女腰，即纳玉茎于玉门中。甚大俊也。）
三十、秋猫。
（男女相背，以两手两脚俱据床，两尻相拄，男即低头，以一手推玉物，纳玉门之中。）
The *Dongxuanzi* states: Upon examining the postures of sexual intercourse, they do not exceed thirty methods in total. Among these postures, there are bending and stretching, leaning forward and backward, shallow and deep penetration. They are largely similar, with minor variations in details. It can be said that all wisdom is encompassed, and the collection leaves nothing out. I have thus imitated these postures to record their names, borrowing their forms to establish their designations. Discerning gentlemen can thoroughly explore the subtleties within.
1. Xu Chou Miu (Narrating Affection).
2. Shen Qian Quan (Expressing Lingering Attachment, meaning not to separate or disperse).
3. Pu Sai Yu (Carp Basking in the Sun).
4. Qi Lin Jiao (Unicorn Horn).
(Beyond the above four postures, playful postures all belong to the same category.)
5. Can Chan Mian (Silkworm Entwining).
(The woman lies supine, raises both hands to embrace the man's neck, crosses both feet on the man's back. The man embraces the woman's neck with both hands, kneels between the woman's thighs, and then inserts the jade stem [penis].)
6. Long Wan Zhuan (Coiling Dragon).
(The woman lies supine, bends both legs. The man kneels inside the woman's thighs, pushes the woman's two feet forward with his left hand, bringing them past the breasts, and with his right hand holds the jade stem to insert it into the jade gate [vagina].)
7. Yu Bi Mu (Flatfish Side-by-Side).
(Both man and woman lie down. The woman places one foot on the man, they face each other, mouth to mouth sucking tongues. The man extends both legs, supports the woman's upper foot with his hand, and advances the jade stem.)
8. Yan Tong Xin (Swallows Sharing One Heart).
(Have the woman lie supine, extend her legs. The man straddles the woman, lying prone on her abdomen, embracing the woman's neck with both hands. The woman embraces the man's waist with both hands, inserting the jade stem into the cinnabar cave [vagina].)
9. Fei Cui Jiao (Kingfishers Mating).
(Have the woman lie supine with feet drawn up. The man kneels in the "Hu" style [on knees with shins flat], opens his feet, sits between the woman's thighs, embraces the woman's waist with both hands, and advances the jade stem into the qin xian [vaginal opening, lit. "zither strings"].)
10. Yuan Yang He (Mandarin Ducks Joining).
(Have the woman lie on her side, raise both legs and place them on the man's thighs. The man, behind the woman, straddles the woman's lower leg, erects one knee on the woman's upper thigh, and inserts the jade stem.)
11. Fan Kong Die (Butterfly Flipping in Air).
(The man lies supine, extends both legs. The woman sits facing the man, both feet braced on the bed. Then, using her hands to assist with force, she advances the yang peak [penis] into the jade gate.)
12. Bei Fei Fu (Wild Duck Flying Backwards).
(The man lies supine, extends both legs. The woman sits on the man facing away, her feet braced on the bed. She lowers her head to embrace the man's jade stem and inserts it into the cinnabar cave.)
13. Yan Gai Song (Reclining Pine with Canopy).
(Have the woman cross her feet upward. The man embraces the woman's waist with both hands. The woman embraces the man's neck with both hands, inserting the jade stem into the jade gate.)
14. Lin Tan Zhu (Bamboo by the Altar).
(Both man and woman stand facing each other, embrace mouth to mouth. The yang peak deeply plunges into the cinnabar cave, submerging to the yang terrace [deep part of vagina].)
15. Luan Shuang Wu (Pair of Phoenixes Dancing).
(One lies supine, the other prone. The supine one raises legs, the prone one straddles on top. The two yin [genitals] face each other. The man sits in a "ji" posture [sitting with legs spread], watching the jade object [penis] attack up and down.)
16. Feng Jiang Chu (Phoenix Nurturing Fledglings).
(The woman is plump and large, using a young boy for intercourse. Very splendid.)
17. Hai Ou Xiang (Seagull Soaring).
(The man leans against the bedside, lifts the woman's feet to make her raise them. The man inserts the jade stem into the zi gong [uterus/womb].)
18. Ye Ma Yue (Wild Horse Leaping).
(Have the woman lie supine. The man lifts the woman's two feet, placing them on his left and right shoulders. He deeply inserts the jade stem into the jade gate.)
19. Ji Cheng Zu (Steed Galloping).
(Have the woman lie supine. The man squats, supports the woman's neck with his left hand, lifts the woman's foot with his right hand, then inserts the jade stem into the uterus.)
20. Ma Yao Ti (Horse Shaking Hooves).
(Have the woman lie supine. The man lifts one of the woman's feet onto his shoulder, the woman herself holds the other foot. He deeply inserts the jade stem into the cinnabar cave. Very exhilarating.)
21. Bai Hu Teng (White Tiger Leaping).
(Have the person kneel face down, knees on the ground. The man kneels behind the woman, embraces the woman's waist with both hands, and inserts the jade stem into the uterus.)
22. Xuan Chan Fu (Dark Cicada Clinging).
(Have the woman lie prone and extend her legs. The man positions himself inside her thighs, bends his legs, embraces the woman's neck with both hands, and inserts the jade stem into the jade gate from behind.)
23. Shan Yang Dui Shu (Goat Facing a Tree).
(The man sits in a "ji" posture. Have the woman sit on the man facing away. The woman herself lowers her head to watch the insertion of the jade stem. The man urgently embraces the woman's waist, rubbing and pressing.)
24. Zhi Ji Lin Chang (Pheasant at the Field).
(The man squats in the "Hu" style sitting on the bed. Have a young woman face him to embrace the jade stem and insert it into the woman's jade gate. Another woman behind pulls the woman's skirt hem, making her feet comfortable. Very exhilarating.)
25. Dan Xue Feng You (Phoenix Wandering in Cinnabar Cave).
(Have the woman lie supine, using both hands to lift her own feet. The man kneels behind the woman, supports himself on the bed with both hands, and inserts the jade stem into the cinnabar cave. Very splendid.)
26. Xuan Ming Peng Zhu (Dark Ocean Roc Soaring).
(Have the woman lie supine. The man takes the woman's two feet and places them on his left and right upper arms. He embraces the woman's waist with his hands downward and inserts the jade stem.)
27. Yin Yuan Bao Shu (Gibbon Embracing a Tree).
(The man sits in a "ji" posture. The woman straddles the man's thighs, embraces the man with both hands. The man supports the woman's buttocks with one hand, inserts the jade stem, and supports himself on the bed with the other hand.)
28. Mao Shu Tong Xue (Cat and Mouse Sharing a Burrow).
(The man lies supine, extends his legs. The woman lies prone on the man, deeply inserting the jade stem. Also, the man lies prone on the woman's back, using the jade stem to attack within the jade gate.)
29. San Chun Lü (Spring Donkey).
(The woman supports herself on the bed with both hands and both feet. The man stands behind her, embraces the woman's waist with both hands, and then inserts the jade stem into the jade gate. Very splendid.)
30. Qiu Mao (Autumn Cat).
(Man and woman are back-to-back, both supporting themselves on the bed with both hands and both feet. Their buttocks press against each other. The man lowers his head, pushes the jade object with one hand, inserting it into the jade gate.)
