Glutinous Rice (one sheng) Huangqin (Scutellariae Radix) (five liang)
Cut the above two ingredients, add seven sheng of water, and decoct until three sheng remain. Divide into four doses for oral administration. (Modern note: The *Chan Jing* records: Crush Rehmanniae Radix to extract the juice, mix with wine, decoct, and take in one dose.)
The *Luyan Fang* records: For treating pregnant women who suffer bleeding due to sudden falls or lifting heavy objects, the following prescription is used:
Take the head of a broken Danzhu (Bambusa textilis), burn its center, collect one sheng of the juice using a vessel, and drink it.

Crush Coptidis Rhizoma (Huanglian), sieve it, and administer one fangcun bi (a square-inch measure) with wine, three times daily until bleeding stops.
It also records: Take fresh Qingzhu (green bamboo), gently scrape off the outer green skin, mix with one sheng of good wine and approximately three ge, and take in one dose.
The *Chan Jing* records: For pregnant women who suddenly experience rebellious qi rising, fall from a height, and suffer acute massive blood loss amounting to several dou, the Matong Yang prescription is used:
