*Zhubing Yuanhou Lun* (Treatise on the Pathogenesis and Manifestations of All Diseases) states: The liver of the perch (*Larimichthys polyactis*) is toxic. If ingested by humans, poisoning manifests as peeling of the facial skin; although severe, it does not lead to death.
*Duanju Fang* (Short Drama Prescriptions) states: For poisoning from eating fish, presenting with facial swelling, restlessness, and confusion, or nearly dying from poisoning due to eating perch liver:
Grind reed rhizome (*Imperatae Rhizoma*, 芦根), extract the juice in spring (one to two *sheng*, according to *Ge Shi Fang*). Drinking a large amount is effective; this also treats crab poisoning. (*Qianjin Fang* agrees.)
*Zhubing Yuanoo Lun* states: The hairfin croaker (*Pseudosciaena polyactis*), specifically its liver and internal roe, are highly toxic and should not be eaten; ingestion often leads to death.
*Duanju Fang* states: Prescription for treating hairfin croaker poisoning:
Charcoalize the fish skin, administer with water. Do not allow the skin to disintegrate; scrape off the surface layer with a knife to obtain the paste for administration. This skin is also known as shark skin. It is also used for poisoning from eating various abalones. (*Qianjin Fang* agrees.)
*Yuxiang Fang* states: Bones of large fish in water that injure humans contain toxins. Treatment prescription:
Charcoalize otter fur, skin, and bones, and apply to the wound; applying feces is also beneficial.
*Yuxiang Fang* prescriptions for injuries caused by fish and aquatic objects:
Chew millet and apply to the affected area.
Another prescription: Boil water and wash the affected area.
*Zhubing Yuanhou Lun* states: Regarding edible meats, if an animal dies from epidemic qi (*epidemic pathogenic factors*) despite normally being non-toxic, or if it possesses inherent toxicity and dies from epidemic qi, the meat becomes poisonous. Ingesting such poisoned meat causes lethargy, stifling sensation, and unceasing vomiting and diarrhea.
*Ge Shi Fang* prescription for poisoning from eating various raw meats:
Use five *sheng* of water to boil three *sheng* of soil until boiling five or six times. After a short while after eating, drink one *sheng* of the supernatant liquid.
*Luyuan Fang* prescription for poisoning from eating various raw meats:
Use six *sheng* of water to boil three *sheng* of soybeans, obtain two *sheng* of juice, and administer orally.
Another prescription: Administer one to two *sheng* of earth slurry.
*Qianjin Fang* prescription for poisoning from eating raw meat:
Dig three *chi* deep into the ground, collect three *sheng* of subsoil, boil in five *sheng* of water for five or six boils, take the supernatant, drink one *sheng*, and recovery will be immediate.
Another prescription: Charcoalize pig feces into powder, administer one *fangcun bi* (a square-inch measure).
*Duanju Fang* prescription for poisoning from eating meat of the six domestic animals:
Take dry feces powder of the specific animal, administer with water for best results.
It also states: For poisoning from self-dead livestock:
Administer powder of Phellodendron bark (*Phellodendri Cortex*, 黄柏) one *fangcun bi* with water.
*Yangsheng Yaoji* states: For the sensation of obstruction and stifling in the throat after eating fatty meat and drinking fluids, feeling as if something is stuck:
Take one *ge* of ginger juice (*Zingiberis Recens Juice*, 生姜汁), mix with fermented soybean porridge (*Douchi*, 豆豉), eat immediately, and recovery will follow.
