Treatment for pediatric gan disease (malnutrition syndrome)
*Mu Bie Zi* (Strychni Semen, shelled, 50 pieces), *Shi Jun Zi Rou* (Quisqualis Fructus flesh, 30 pieces), *Qing Dai* (Indigo Naturalis, 1 qian).
Grind the above ingredients into fine powder. Use wheat flour paste to form pills the size of a longan fruit. Take one pill per dose. Crack one egg, place the pill inside, mix thoroughly, steam until cooked, and consume.

*Bing Lang* (Arecae Semen), *Qing Pi* (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium Viride), *Chen Pi* (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium), *San Leng* (Sparganii Rhizoma), *E Zhu* (Curcumae Rhizoma), *Sha Ren* (Amomi Fructus Rotundus, each 5 qian), *Ding Xiang* (Caryophylli Flos), *Mu Xiang* (Aucklandiae Radix, each 1 qian), *Shi Jun Zi Rou* (Quisqualis Fructus flesh), *Xiang Fu* (Cyperi Rhizoma, 1 qian).
Grind the above ingredients into fine powder. Use wheat flour paste to form pills the size of hemp seeds. Take 20–30 pills per dose, washed down with rice soup.

Grind the above ingredients into fine powder. Use aged rice paste to form pills the size of millet seeds. Take 15 pills per dose, washed down with rice soup.

Treatment for pediatric gan heat and emaciation
*Bai Zhu* (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma), *Shan Zha* (Crataegi Fructus), *Shen Qu* (Massa Medicata Fermentata), *Mai Ya* (Hordei Fructus Germinatus, stir-fried), *Chen Pi* (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium, each 1 liang), *Ban Xia* (Pinelliae Rhizoma, processed with ginger juice), *Luo Bo Zi* (Raphani Semen), *Fu Ling* (Poria), *Rou Dou Kou* (Myristicae Semen, processed), *Shi Jun Zi* (Quisqualis Fructus, ground into powder). Use paste to form pills the size of hemp seeds. Take 30 pills per dose, washed down with rice soup.

Treatment for pediatric fever, muscle wasting, sparse hair, dry skin, abdominal distension, and visible epigastric veins
*Hu Huang Lian* (Coptidis Rhizoma variant or related herb), *Chuan Huang Lian* (Coptidis Rhizoma), *Lu Hui* (Aloe), *Shen Qu* (Massa Medicata Fermentata, each 5 qian), *Bing Lang* (Arecae Semen), *Chen Pi* (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium, each 7 qian), *Shi Jun Zi* (Quisqualis Fructus), *Bai Zhu* (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma, each 1 liang).
Grind the above ingredients into fine powder. Use refined honey to form pills the size of a longan fruit. Take one pill per dose, dissolved in rice soup.

Treatment for pediatric yellowish emaciation, fever, abdominal pain, diarrhea, abdominal distension, or purulent bloody stools; applicable to all these conditions.

Grind the above ingredients into fine powder. Use refined honey to form pills the size of a longan fruit. Take one pill per dose on an empty stomach, dissolved in rice drink.
