Add one zhong of water, one slice of Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens (Shengjiang), one date (Jujubae Fructus), decoct until reduced to five fen; take after meals.
Treatment for cough and asthma due to Lung affected by Wind-Cold, focusing on dispersing.

Alternative formula: remove Aucklandiae Radix (Muxiang) and add Bupleuri Radix (Chaihu), Morus Alba Root Bark (Sangpi).

Treatment for pediatric cough with excessive saliva and phlegm, vomiting, nausea, hemoptysis, and pulmonary asthma.
Ginseng Radix (Renshen) and Cornus Officinalis Fructus (Wuweizi) (each 4 qian); Descurainiae Semen (Kuandongren), Armeniacae Semen Amarum (Xingren), Poria (Fuling) (each 8 qian); Asteris Tatarici Radix (Ziwan), Morus Alba Root Bark (Sangbaipi), Perillae Folium (Zisu), Areca Seed (Binglang); Stemona Radix (Baibu), Fritillariae Bulbus (Beimu), Pinelliae Rhizoma Praeparatum cum Alumine et Zingibere (Banxiaqu) (each 5 qian); Aucklandiae Radix (Muxiang) (3 qian).
Pulverize the above ingredients, mix with refined honey to make pills. Take one pill per dose (weighing 6 fen), dissolve in Ginger Decoction after meals.
Treatment for prolonged pediatric cough that does not cease, or cough with blood in sputum.
Ginseng Radix (Renshen) (5 qian), Descurainiae Flos (Kuandonghua) (6 qian), Cornus Officinalis Fructus (Wuweizi) (3 qian), Asini Corii Colla (Ejiao) (stir-fried with Arseni Trioxidum powder into beads), Armeniacae Semen Amarum (Xingren) (skin and tips removed, stir-fried), Fritillariae Bulbus (Beimu) (each 8 qian).
Pulverize the above ingredients, mix with refined honey to make pills. Take one pill per dose (weighing 6 fen), dissolve in Ginger Decoction.
