When the plaster is slightly cool, add *Ruxiang* (Frankincense) and *Moyao* (Myrrh), each 6 qian, *Xuejie* (Dragon's Blood), *awei* (Asafoetida), *haiercha* (Child's Tea), *Baicaoshuang* (Soot from Hundred Herbs), *Qingfen* (Calomel), and *Maxian Gao* (Purslane Ointment), each 3 qian. Stir evenly with mulberry branches, spread, and apply as a patch.
Treats carbuncles, sores, and back abscesses. Heat hands over fire, rub the affected area more than one hundred times, then apply the patch. If pus has already emerged, rubbing is unnecessary. For scabies and tinea with itching, apply the patch. For leprosy (*Fenglai*, Leprosy), roast *Miebaozi* (Guizotia frutescens seed) over fire until soft, grind into a paste, and apply on top of the pus. For unnamed swelling and toxic sores, apply to the affected area. For traumatic injuries or cuts from knives/axes, apply to the affected area. For phlegm-wind obstruction, apply to the heart region, and heat-rub with hands for one hundred strokes. For abdominal masses (*Pikuai*), grind *Miebaozi* into a paste, place on the plaster, and apply. Take *Pixiao* (Mirabilite) 1 liang, pigeon droppings 5 qian, and two garlic cloves; pound into a uniform mixture. Make a ring of flour dough to encircle the outside of the plaster. Use a hot iron to heat the medicine, allowing the qi to penetrate. For gu distension (*Guzhang*, Abdominal Distension due to Parasites/Water Accumulation), add roasted *Miebaozi*, apply below the heart above the navel, and heat-rub with hands for one hundred strokes. For paralysis and dampness-pain, add roasted *Miebaozi*, apply to the affected area, and rub with hands for one hundred strokes. For irregular menstruation, apply to *Xuehai* (SP-10, Sea of Blood) acupoint, and rub with hands for one hundred strokes.
To Resolve Qingfen Toxicity
Use aged glaze that has been illuminated by Buddha lamps before worship, burn until it retains its nature, and grind into powder. Take 2 qian per dose, mix with wine and swallow. Take once or twice daily. Full recovery in one month.
*Huaruishi San* (Flower Porphyry Powder) Treats all types of traumatic injuries and metal-blade wounds. For external bleeding, urgently sprinkle the medicine on the wound; the blood will transform into yellow fluid. If there are internal injuries with blood entering the zang-fu organs, decoct fresh urine from a male infant (*Tongbian*) while hot, add a little wine, mix with 1 qian of the powder, and take orally. If the intestine prolapses but is not damaged, immediately push it back in, and suture using mulberry root bark (*Sangbaipi*) as thread. Sprinkle the medicine; hemostasis occurs immediately, and life is saved. If *Sangbaipi* is unavailable, raw hemp fiber can be used. Do not seal or wrap the wound tightly, lest it lead to suppuration and bleeding. It is also acceptable to lift the edges of the skin with bamboo clips. If the wound is dry, moisten it with saliva, then sprinkle the medicine. For postpartum women, if敗血 (retained blood/toxic blood) rushes to the heart, or if the placenta fails to descend, use *Tongbian* to mix and administer orally.
*Sulfur* (4 liang of pure and clear sulfur, pounded into coarse powder) *Huaruishi* (1 liang of Flower Porphyry, pounded into coarse powder)
Mix the two ingredients evenly. First, use paper pulp and salt mud to seal and fix a jar. Wait for the mud to dry, put the medicine inside, and seal the mouth with mud again. Once dry, place it on square bricks, inscribing Bagua (Eight Trigrams) and Wuxing (Five Elements) characters. Use one cheng of charcoal, stacked and surrounding the jar. Start heating after Si and Wu hours (9 AM - 1 PM), letting the heat gradually penetrate upwards, continuing overnight until the fire cools and charcoal turns to ash. Leave it for another night until the jar cools down, then remove, grind, and store in a porcelain bottle for use.
