南星（一两） 川乌（去皮） 生附子（各半两） 木香（二钱半） 上 咀，每服半两，水二盏，姜
十片，煎至六分，去滓温服。
江子仁（六粒，去皮膜，每粒分作两半） 牙皂（三钱，切片） 明矾（一两） 上先将矾化开，却入二
味搅匀，待矾枯为末，每用三分吹入，甚者灯心汤下五分，痰在喉者即吐，在膈者即下。
石绿（研九度，飞十两） 附子尖 乌头尖 蝎梢（各七十个） 上三味为末，入石绿令匀，
面糊为丸，如鸡头实大，每服急用薄荷汁化一丸，更入酒半合，温暖服之。须臾吐
出痰涎，然后随证治之。如牙关紧急，斡开灌之验。
防风 藜芦 瓜蒂 上各为粗末，每服一二钱，以齑汁三茶盏，煎三五沸，去
齑澄清，放温，调末徐徐服之，不必尽剂，以吐为度。
巴豆（二粒，去皮膜） 白矾（如拇指大一块，为末） 同放新瓦上， 至巴豆焦赤为度，
蜜丸，次实大棉包，放口中近喉处，良久吐痰愈。
麻黄（去节） 人参（去芦） 黄芩（去腐） 芍药 甘草（炙） 川芎 杏仁（去皮尖，炒） 防己 官
桂（各一两） 防风（一两半） 附子（炮，去皮脐，半两） 上除附子、杏仁外，为粗末，后入二味和
匀，每服五钱，水一盏半，生姜五片，煎至一盏，去滓，稍热服，食前。
Arisaema Cum Bile (1 liang), Chuanwu (Paezi Radix Aconiti, 川乌, with skin removed), Raw Fuzi (Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata, 生附子, each half liang), Muxiang (Aucklandiae Radix, 木香, 2.5 qian). The above herbs are coarsely crushed. Each dose is 0.5 liang, decocted with 2 zhan of water and 10 slices of fresh ginger until reduced to 60% of the original volume. Strain and take warm.
Jiangziren (Seminarum Crotonis Tiglii, 江子仁, 6 grains, with skin and membrane removed, each grain split in half), Yazao (Fructus Gleditsiae Sinensis, 牙皂, 3 qian, sliced), Mingfan (Alumen, 明矾, 1 liang). First dissolve the alum, then add the other two ingredients and stir evenly. Wait until the alum is calcined into powder. Use 3 fen by insufflating into the nose. For severe cases, administer 5 fen with a decoction of Jiedixin (Herba Dictamni, 灯心草). Phlegm in the throat will be vomited immediately; phlegm in the chest/diaphragm will be purged immediately.
Shilv (Malachite Green, 石绿, ground nine times, purified ten times, 10 liang), Fuzijian (Apex Radicis Aconiti Lateralis, 附子尖), Wutoujian (Apex Radicis Aconiti, 乌头尖), Xieshao (Cauda Scorpio, 蝎梢, each 70 units). The first three ingredients are powdered, mixed evenly with Shilv, and formed into pills using wheat paste dough, sized like chicken heads. For urgent use, dissolve one pill in Boheju (Menthae Haplocalycis Juice, 薄荷汁), add half he of wine, and take warm. Soon, phlegm and saliva will be vomited up, after which treatment should follow the syndrome differentiation. If the jaw is tightly clenched, pry it open and instill; this is effective.
Fangfeng (Saposhnikoviae Radix, 防风), Lilu (Veratri Nigrum Rhizoma, 藜芦), Gouti (Cucumeris Fructus, 瓜蒂). Each is made into a coarse powder. Each dose is 1-2 qian, decocted with 3 tea cups of vinegar juice for 3-5 boils. Remove the dregs, clarify, let cool to warm, mix with the powder, and take slowly. It is not necessary to finish the entire dose; stop when vomiting occurs.
Badou (Seminarum Crotonis Tiglii, 巴豆, 2 grains, with skin and membrane removed), Baifan (Alumen, 白矾, a piece the size of a thumb, powdered). Place them together on a new tile until the Badou turns scorched red. Form into honey pills, sized like cotton seeds. Wrap in cotton, place near the throat in the mouth, wait for a long time, and the phlegm will be vomited out, curing the illness.
Mahuang (Ephedrae Herba, 麻黄, with nodes removed), Renshen (Ginseng Radix, 人参, with radix removed), Huangqin (Scutellariae Radix, 黄芩, with rot removed), Shaoyao (Paeoniae Radix, 芍药), Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, 甘草, honey-fried), Chuanxiong (Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma, 川芎), Xingren (Armeniacae Semen Amarum, 杏仁, with skin and tip removed, stir-fried), Fangji (Stephaniae Tetrandrae Radix, 防己), Guongui (Cinnamomi Ramulus, 官桂, each 1 liang), Fangfeng (Saposhnikoviae Radix, 防风, 1.5 liang), Fuzi (Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata, 附子, processed, with skin and navel removed, 0.5 liang). Except for Fuzi and Xingren, the rest are made into a coarse powder. Then add the latter two and mix evenly. Each dose is 5 qian, decocted with 1.5 zhan of water and 5 slices of fresh ginger until reduced to 1 zhan. Strain and take slightly warm before meals.
