Mainly treats deficiency and damage caused by cold, as well as various diseases involving accumulations and masses in the heart and abdomen lasting for fifty years, where pathogenic qi moves back and forth, leading to cold extremities (Jue Ni) and cold rushing to the heart. The body presents with bi syndrome (obstruction syndrome), numbness, emaciation, skeletal appearance, and inability to eat.
Formula for breaking down accumulations:
Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata (Wutou, 15 fen, processed, skin removed) Ginseng Radix (Renshen, 5 fen) Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens (Shengjiang, 2 liang) Peucedani Radix (Qianhu) Zanthoxyli Fructus (Shujiao, remove eyes and closed-mouth ones) Scutellariae Radix (Huangqin) Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma (Baizhu) Pinelliae Rhizoma Preparatum (Banxia, washed) Coptidis Rhizoma (Huanglian) Evodiae Fructus (Wuzhuyu) Os Draconis (Longgu) Pulsatillae Radix (Baitouweng) Zingiberis Rhizoma (Ganjiang) Asari Radix et Rhizoma (Xixin) Platycodonis Radix (Jiegeng) Asteris Tatarici Radix (Ziwan) Chuanxiong Rhizoma (Chuanxiong) Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex (Houpo)
The above twenty-two ingredients are crushed, sifted into powder, mixed with refined honey to form pills the size of a wu zi (Cocculus trilobus seed). Take ten pills with wine, three times during the day and once at night, until effective.
Formula for breaking down accumulations, treating cold accumulations and结聚 (jiejie), weak yang pathway, hematochezia, and continuous postpartum bleeding in women:

The above eighteen ingredients are crushed, sifted into powder, mixed with refined honey to form pills the size of a wu zi. Take ten pills with wine, three times daily, gradually increasing the dose.
Formula mainly for wind-lao disease (chronic deficiency due to overwork) and cold from pin-masses (abdominal lumps) lasting forty years, and also for cough with rebellious qi:
Ginseng Radix (Renshen) Cinnamomi Ramulus (Guixin) Evodiae Fructus (Wuzhuyu) Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata (Wutou, processed, skin removed) Alumen (Fanshi, burned, equal parts)

One treatise, thirty-five formulas connected with Volume 22.
Treatise says: Once the medicinal power is obtained, all ailments should be dispelled. If the medicinal power suddenly activates, one must know how to disperse it. Therefore, dispersal formulas are established next. Use them strictly according to diagnostic signs, and there will be no error. The pulse may be large (Hong) or excess (Shi), or interrupted and insufficient, resembling a death pulse; or fine and rapid (Xi Shu), or wiry and fast (Xian Kuai), because the diseases contracted are not uniform. Pulses have no constant pattern, and even doctors cannot always identify them. Heat predominance leads to wiry and fast pulses; presence of pin-masses leads to large and excess pulses; acute pain leads to interrupted pulses. Generally, when taking cold medicines that generate heat, this is usually the case. The patient feels no suffering, which is not a sign of death. If the reaction follows moderation, death will not occur. If it does not follow moderation, death will occur. Those who wish to take powder preparations should examine the pulse and carefully verify the signs before proceeding to complete recovery. A deep and rapid pulse is difficult to induce sweating; if difficult to sweat, purgation should be performed multiple times. A floating and large pulse is easy to induce sweating. Some people do not sweat after taking two or three doses of powder; this indicates their pulse is deep and difficult to mobilize. Sweating may occur without the person noticing, as the medicinal force has already moved internally. It does not manifest externally but acts internally within the body. To observe whether the medicinal power is working: increased food intake is the first sign; harmonious and pleasant complexion is the second sign; itching of the head, face, and body is the third sign; slight aversion to wind is the fourth sign; drowsiness is the fifth sign. For those presenting these signs, the medicine is activating the five zang organs internally. Simply follow the method of administration. Purge multiple times; internal deficiency will naturally lead to dispersion.
