**Formula for treating damp sores with ulceration, expelling parasites and clearing heat:**
Lu (a plant), Qingxiang (seed of Celosia argentea), Nuqing (a medicinal herb), Tao Ren (seed of Prunus persica, peeled, tips removed, double kernels discarded, stir-fried), Lei Wan (sclerotium of Omphalia lapidescens) each 3 liang; Liu (Polygonum aviculare) 0.5 liang.
The above six ingredients are crushed, sifted, and made into a powder. Take one fangcun bi (a square-inch measure) mixed with millet gruel broth, three times daily. Gradually increase the dose to two fangcun bi. Taking it with wine is also acceptable.
**Divine formula for treating damp sores:**
Take fresh ginger, scrape off the outer skin, cut along the grain, and pound until extremely soft. Extract one sheng and five he (approx. 500-600 ml) of juice. Mix this with one sheng and five he of water. Drink on an empty stomach in the morning. Additionally, take two pieces of ginger, about the size of a finger, wrap them in several layers of catalpa leaves and peach leaves, and roast them in fire until extremely hot. Insert into the lower orifice (anus or vagina). After a short while, if dampness is severe, repeat this procedure for three consecutive days. There will be no case that does not heal.
**Formula for treating genital erosion sores:**
Pu Huang (pollen of Typha angustifolia) 1 sheng; Shui Yin (mercury) 1 liang.
The above two ingredients are finely ground until dispersed. Apply the powder directly onto the sore. This is particularly suitable for use in the fifth, sixth, and seventh lunar months. Diet must strictly avoid rich, fatty, and strong-flavored foods. Those who observe this precaution can avoid this disease.
**Another formula:**
Use 30 jin (approx. 15 kg) of fatty pork. Using animal genital meat mixed in is considered beneficial. Boil in 2 shi (approx. 200 liters) of water until thoroughly cooked. Remove the meat. Pour the broth into a large basin. Wash the affected area with the broth, changing it when it cools down. Do not exceed four washes.
**Formula for treating cold hernia heartache and heartache caused by worm bites:**
Lu, Guan Zhong (rhizome of Cyrtomium fortunei), Gan Qi (processed resin of Toxicodendron vernicifluum, each 2 liang, stir-fried), Ye Lang Ya (a medicinal herb, 1 liang).
The above four ingredients are crushed, sifted, and made into a powder. Take one ge (approx. 20 ml) mixed with mutton soup, three times daily. Parasites will be expelled within two days.
**Formula for treating internal heat causing restlessness and vexation:**
Lu (2.5 liang), Gan Xi (dried rhizome/root, stir-fried), Liu (each 3 fen).
The above three ingredients are crushed, sifted, and made into a powder. Take one fangcun bi mixed with millet gruel broth, three times daily.
**Formula for treating pain caused by worms:**
Stir-fry Gan Qi (processed resin of Toxicodendron vernicifluum) into a powder. Mix with honey to form pills the size of wu zi (seeds of Strophanthus divaricatus, approx. 6-9 mm diameter). Take ten pills with water, three times daily.
**Another formula:**
Burn the ash from Huai tree wood ear fungus. Take a piece the size of a jujube with water. The illness will resolve. If pain persists, drink one zhan (approx. 200 ml) of hot water, and worms will be expelled immediately.
There was a person suffering from abdominal distension and fullness, unable to eat or drink, nearing death. Someone advised him to steam sheep liver with garlic and consume it. He subsequently expelled five sheng (approx. 2.5 liters) of substance resembling porridge, which consisted entirely of worms segment by segment. He recovered immediately. This person had sores in his mouth, known at the time as Gan Gan (dry malnutrition syndrome characterized by oral ulcers). Treatment with this method led to recovery. For one hundred days, he must absolutely avoid eating soybean paste; consuming it would cause relapse. He should frequently consume minced garlic. Administered in the early morning, expulsion occurs by sunset. The garlic mince must be prepared specifically, differing from ordinary culinary preparations.
