治小儿初生 用甘草一指节长炙透、锉碎，以水二合，煮取一合，以指头缠绵蘸汁，点
儿口中约一蚬壳，吐出胸中恶汁，待其饥渴更与之。若两服不吐，尽一合止，则儿智能无病。
又方 初生时即用猪胆一枚，以水七升，煎取四升，澄清浴儿，令长大及终身永无疮疥。

又方 用蓬术半两，阿魏一钱，以温水化阿魏，浸蓬术一昼夜，焙干为末。每服一字，
煎紫苏米饮空心调下。
治小儿盘肠气痛 用木香一块，于乳钵内磨，水半盏，调乳香、没药末少许，煎数沸，
服之立效。
又方 用炒茴香、延胡索等分为末。空心米饮调下，量儿大小服之。
Treatment for newborn infants: Take a piece of Licorice Root (Gancao, *Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma*) one finger-joint long, thoroughly roasted and crushed.
