The years of Liu Gui, Liu Ding, Liu Ji, Liu Yi, and Liu Xin correspond to the insufficiency of Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water respectively, representing the "Post-Heaven" (insufficient) aspect. For diseases contracted by the people, treatment should harmonize using the five flavors according to their overcoming relationships, aiming for balance.
