(Treats hematuria.)
Lotus leaf stalk base (7 pieces)
Burned to ash. Mixed with wine and taken orally.
Diseases may be internal or external. The manifestations of external diseases can be seen at a glance. However, there are distinctions between exterior and interior, cold and heat, deficiency and excess. Generally speaking, diseases originating in the Zang organs belong to Yin patterns.
(Treats all kinds of carbuncles and sores. Regardless of whether they are Yin or Yang toxic types, those not yet formed will dissipate, and those already formed will suppurate. It promotes pus discharge and tissue regeneration, disperses blood stasis, and reduces swelling; it is a miraculous medicine.)
Pangolin scales (2 qian) Honeysuckle flower (2 qian) Gleditsia sinensis thorn (1.5 qian) Angelica sinensis tail root (1.5 qian) Red peony root Tangerine peel Glycyrrhiza uralensis joint Trichosanthes root
Fritillaria cirrhosa decoction
Decoct with half wine and half water for oral administration.
(Treats carbuncles, back carbuncles, furuncles, and all kinds of unknown swellings and toxins. Those not yet formed will dissipate, and those already formed will suppurate. This addresses the most critical conditions; three doses result in complete recovery.)
Rehmannia glutinosa root (raw) Astragalus membranaceus root (raw) Glycyrrhiza uralensis root (raw) Angelica dahurica root (stir-fried) Angelica sinensis root (stir-fried) Pangolin scales (stir-fried, 3 qian each)
If the lesion is on the head or face, add Ligusticum chuanxiong rhizome (5 qian); if on the hands or feet, add Cinnamon twig (5 qian); if in the middle region, add Eucommia ulmoides bark (5 qian); if in the lower region, add Achyranthes bidentata root (5 qian).
For the above seven herbs, weigh accurately according to the prescription; do not increase or decrease the dosage. For those who drink alcohol well, use two bowls of yellow wine, decoct until one bowl remains; for those who do not drink well, use half wine and half water for decoction.
Atractylodes lancea rhizome (8 liang) Scorpio Gastrodia elata tuber Dendrobium nobile stem Angelica sinensis root Honey-processed Glycyrrhiza uralensis root Ligusticum chuanxiong rhizome Notopterygium incisum rhizome Schizonepeta tenuifolia spike Saposhnikovia divaricata root Ephedrae Herba (Mahuang, 麻黄)
Asarum sieboldii (Beixixin, 北细辛)
Grind together into a fine powder. Form pills using refined honey. The pills are divided into three sizes: one liang of powder makes four pills, one liang makes six pills, and one liang makes nine pills. Coat with Cinnabar (6 qian).
Whenever encountering malignant sores, carbuncles, back carbuncles, and other such conditions, decoct nine stalks of green onion white part (with roots) in enough liquid to yield one teacupful. Select the appropriate pill size based on the patient's age and robustness, and the severity and urgency of the disease. If not yet formed, it will dissipate; if already formed, it will swell significantly and suppurate. If dispersion is not required, simply dissolve the pill in hot wine and take it. After taking the medicine, avoid wind.
Avoid cold foods and sexual intercourse. Pregnant women should not take this medicine.
