荸荠（一百个） 花头海蜇（三斤）
各洗净。入沙锅内。同水煮一日。冬天一夜。单食荸荠自消。

各等分。研细干糁舌上。加用鲜生地五钱捣汁。白汤冲服。

陈京墨（酒磨汁）
外用五味子四分。麦冬一钱。煎汤和服可止。
一方。用新白芨一薄片。贴眉心即止。重者换贴一次。
一方。用血余烧灰存性为末。吹入立止。
（是症多由感冒伤寒。疟痢变症。其冷热可以葱熨法试之。冷秘。葱熨即通。热秘。
通旋秘。）
柴胡（六分） 木通（五分） 茯苓（一钱） 甘草（四分）
冷秘加熟附子三分。热秘加黄芩知母车前各五分。急流水煎服。
一方。治冷秘。葱白切炒热。包帛内。慢揉脐下。即通。
一方。治热秘。莴苣菜捣烂。贴脐上立通。
(Symptoms treated are the same as mentioned above.)
*Polyporus umbellatus* (8 fen), *Areca Seed* (Binglang), *Chrysanthemum Caravatica Seed* (Heshi) (each 1 qian), *Quisqualis Indica Fruit* (Shijunzi) (1.5 qian), *Calomel* (Qingfen) (4 fen).
Grind the above herbs into fine powder. Divide into two doses. In the evening, take 1 liang of lean pork, slice it, soak it overnight in water infused with *Scallion Pod* (Zaojiao). At dawn (wugeng time), slowly roast it thoroughly over low heat, dip in sesame oil, and consume.
(Specially treats dysentery.)
*Water Chestnut* (Biqi) (100 pieces), *Sea Jellyfish* (Huatou Haizhe) (3 jin).
Wash each thoroughly. Place in a clay pot, boil together in water for one day. In winter, boil for a full night. Consuming only the water chestnuts alone will resolve the condition spontaneously.
(Treats all types of bleeding disorders. Effective for continuous hematemesis caused by excessive drinking or overeating, or injury from bending forward and straining, even when blood spurts uncontrollably from both mouth and nose, provided the voice remains intact. Also treats epistaxis, bleeding from the tongue surface, and bleeding from between the teeth; applying the powder via insufflation stops the bleeding immediately.)
*Soot from Kitchen Chimney* (Baicaoshuang) (2 qian).
Grind into fine powder, mix with rice porridge liquid, and swallow.
(Treats bleeding from the tongue.)
*Pollen Typhae* (Puhuang) ash, *Sophora Japonica Flower* (Huaihua) powder.
Take equal parts, grind into fine powder, and dry-dust onto the tongue. Additionally, crush 5 qian of fresh *Rehmannia Root* (Shengdihuang) to extract juice, and take with plain boiled water.
(Treats persistent epistaxis.)
*Aged Inkstick from Jing* (Chenjingmo) (grind with wine to obtain juice).
Externally: Take 4 fen of *Schisandra Berry* (Wuweizi) and 1 qian of *Ophiopogon Tuber* (Maidong), decoct in water, mix, and drink to stop bleeding.
Another prescription: Apply a thin slice of fresh *Bletilla Rhizome* (Baiji) to the glabella (between eyebrows) to stop bleeding immediately. For severe cases, replace and apply once more.
Another prescription: Burn human hair to charcoal while preserving its properties, grind into powder, and insufflate into the nostrils to stop bleeding immediately.
(This condition often arises from colds, shanghan, or complications of malaria and dysentery. Its cold or hot nature can be tested using the scallion moxibustion method. Cold constipation is relieved by scallion moxibustion; hot constipation requires general treatment for constipation.)
*Bupleurum Root* (Chaihu) (6 fen), *Akebia Caulis* (Mutong) (5 fen), *Poria* (Fuling) (1 qian), *Licorice Root* (Gancao) (4 fen).
For cold constipation, add 3 fen of prepared *Aconite Lateral Root* (Shufuzi). For hot constipation, add 5 fen each of *Scutellaria Root* (Huangqin), *Anemarrhena Rhizome* (Zhimu), and *Plantago Seed* (Cheqian). Decoct in rapidly flowing water and take orally.
Another prescription for cold constipation: Chop scallion whites, stir-fry until hot, wrap in cloth, and slowly rub below the navel to relieve constipation immediately.
Another prescription for hot constipation: Crush lettuce, apply to the navel to relieve constipation immediately.
