Discussion states: When the True Qi (Zhen Qi) is internally deficient, Wind Pathogen (Feng Xie) attacks the deficiency. Entering from the Back-Shu points (Beishu), it penetrates inward to affect the Five Zang Organs (Wuzang). Depending on which organ is affected, different diseases arise. The severity of Wind invasion correlates with the degree of deficiency: slight deficiency leads to mild symptoms, while severe deficiency leads to severe symptoms. Manifestations may include mental vagueness and restlessness, sudden loss of consciousness with uncontrollable salivation, deviation of the mouth and eyes, or slurred speech. Other signs include stiff body rigidity or limb immobility. These are all manifestations of Stroke (Zhongfeng).
