论曰小儿瘀热在胃，或湿热相搏。熏散肌肉，其证目黄，身或疼痛，肌肉如橘色。或得
之伤寒，或得之时气。或得之风温，皆脾胃气虚，邪热与谷气相搏所为也，利其小便则愈，
又小儿百日以上。非因伤寒温病，身体微黄者，此由将息过度，胃热所致，慎不可灸，唯宜
薄衣裳兼粉之自愈，其证不可不辨。
治小儿发黄。升麻汤方

上六味，除郁李仁外，捣罗为末。与郁李仁和匀，炼蜜和丸，如绿豆大，每服温水下三
丸，至五丸，日再服，量儿大小，以意加减。
治小儿发黄。桑白皮汤方
桑根白皮（锉） 麻黄（去根节汤煮掠去沫） 秦艽（去苗土各一分） 大黄（锉炒半
两）
上四味，粗捣筛。每服一钱匕，水七分，牛乳一合，同煎至五分，去滓分温食前，日三
服，量儿大小加减。
治小儿黄胆，身体目睛小便并黄。茵陈汤方
山茵陈（一分） 大黄（锉炒半两） 山栀子仁（五枚）
上三味，粗捣筛。五六岁儿每服一钱匕，水七分，煎至四分，入朴硝半钱，更煎一两沸。
去滓分温日三服，量大小加减。
治小儿天行发黄，心腹胀急。三黄汤方

上三味，粗捣筛。三四岁儿每服一钱匕，水七分。煎至四分，去滓温服，取利为度。
治小儿黄病。青麦汁方
青麦自然汁
上一味，一二岁儿取半鸡子壳，分二服，三四岁儿，取一鸡子壳。分二服，早晨午后各
一服。
治小儿忽发黄，面目皮肉并黄。栝蒌根饮方
生栝蒌根
上一味，捣取汁二大合。蜜一大匙和匀，火暖分三服。
治小儿黄病。土瓜根汁方
土瓜根汁
上一味，一二岁儿取半鸡子壳。分二服，三四岁儿取一鸡子壳。分二服，早晨晚后各一。
治小儿身目俱黄。秦艽汤方
秦艽（三分）
上一味，粗捣筛。每一钱匕，入牛乳一合，同煎至五分。去滓分温日三服，量儿大小加
减。
治小儿诸黄。瓜蒂散方
瓜蒂（一十四枚） 小豆（二十粒） 糯米（四十粒）
上三味，捣罗为散，吹少许入鼻中，即瘥。

上一味，滴少许入鼻中，出黄水、即瘥。

上一十二味，捣罗为末。以蛤粉一升，药末三合，相和再筛，粉儿日三。
Discourse states: In children, stagnant heat accumulates in the stomach, or damp-heat struggles with each other. The heat steams and diffuses into the muscles. The manifestations include yellowing of the eyes, occasional body pain, and muscles taking on an orange-like color. This condition may arise from Taiyang disease (exogenous cold pathogen affecting the Taiyang channel), seasonal epidemic qi, or wind-warmth pathogens. All these are caused by deficiency of Spleen and Stomach Qi, where pathogenic heat struggles with grain Qi. Healing can be achieved by promoting urination. Furthermore, in infants over one hundred days old, slight yellowing of the body not caused by Taiyang disease or warm diseases results from excessive nursing/care leading to Stomach heat. Moxibustion must strictly be avoided; instead, wearing thin clothing and applying powder externally will lead to self-healing. These syndromes must be carefully differentiated.
To treat jaundice in children. Shengma Tang (Cinnamon Twig Decoction) Formula
Shengma (Rhizoma Cimicifugae), Huangqin (Radix Scutellariae, remove black heart), Shanyinchenshen (Herba Artemisiae Scopariae), Chaihu (Radix Bupleuri, remove seedlings), Gouti (Fructus Momordicae), Zhimu (Rhizoma Anemarrhenae, baked), Lanye (Folium Isatidis) (each 1 liang), Shanzhiziren (Semen Gardeniae, 1 liang 1 fen), Dahuang (Radix et Rhizoma Rhei, chopped and stir-fried), Shigao (Gypsum Fibrosum, crushed, each 1 liang 5 qian), Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae, honey-fried), Shaoyao (Radix Paeoniae Alba, each 0.5 liang), Lingyangjiao (Cornu Saigae Tataricae, shaved, 3 fen).
The above thirteen ingredients are coarsely pounded and sifted. For children aged three to four years, administer 1 qianbi per dose. Add 7 parts water, decoct until 4 parts remain, strain, and take warm. Administer once in the morning, once in the afternoon, and once near nightfall, adjusting dosage according to the child's size.
To treat jaundice disease in children. Shanyinchenshen Wan (Artemisia Scoparia Pill) Formula
Shanyinchenshen (Herba Artemisiae Scopariae, 0.5 liang), Shanzhiziren (Semen Gardeniae), Qinjiao (Radix Gentianae Macrophyllae, remove seedlings and soil), Dahuang (Radix et Rhizoma Rhei, chopped and stir-fried, each 3 fen), Puxiao (Natrii Sulfas, ground), Yuliren (Semen Pruni Persicae, soaked in hot water, skin removed, separately ground, each 1 liang).
The above six ingredients, except for Yuliren, are pounded and sieved into powder. Mix evenly with Yuliren powder. Blend with refined honey to form pills the size of mung beans. Administer 3 to 5 pills per dose with warm water, twice daily. Adjust dosage according to the child's size.
To treat jaundice in children. Sangbaipi Tang (Mulberry Root Bark Decoction) Formula
Sanggenbaidi (Cortex Mori Radicis, chopped), Mahuang (Herba Ephedrae, remove root joints, boil in water and skim foam), Qinjiao (Radix Gentianae Macrophyllae, remove seedlings and soil, each 1 fen), Dahuang (Radix et Rhizoma Rhei, chopped and stir-fried, 0.5 liang).
The above four ingredients are coarsely pounded and sifted. Administer 1 qianbi per dose. Add 7 parts water and 1 he of cow's milk. Decoct together until 5 parts remain. Strain and divide into doses to be taken warm before meals, three times daily. Adjust dosage according to the child's size.
To treat jaundice in children, characterized by yellowing of the body, eyes, and urine. Yinchen Tang (Artemisia Scoparia Decoction) Formula
Shanyinchenshen (Herba Artemisiae Scopariae, 1 fen), Dahuang (Radix et Rhizoma Rhei, chopped and stir-fried, 0.5 liang), Shanzhiziren (Semen Gardeniae, 5 seeds).
The above three ingredients are coarsely pounded and sifted. For children aged five to six years, administer 1 qianbi per dose. Add 7 parts water, decoct until 4 parts remain. Add 0.5 qian of Puxiao (Natrii Sulfas), boil for a few more moments. Strain and divide into doses to be taken warm, three times daily. Adjust dosage according to the child's size.
To treat jaundice caused by epidemic pathogens in children, accompanied by abdominal distension and urgency. Sanhuang Tang (Three Rheum Decoction) Formula
Dahuang (Radix et Rhizoma Rhei, chopped and stir-fried), Huangqin (Radix Scutellariae, remove black heart, each 1 liang 5 qian), Shanzhiziren (Semen Gardeniae, 3 fen).
The above three ingredients are coarsely pounded and sifted. For children aged three to four years, administer 1 qianbi per dose. Add 7 parts water, decoct until 4 parts remain. Strain and take warm. Use bowel evacuation as the endpoint.
To treat jaundice disease in children. Qingmai Zhi (Green Wheat Juice) Formula
Qingmai ziran zhi (Fresh juice of green wheat).
The above single ingredient: For children aged one to two years, take half an eggshell measure, divided into two doses. For children aged three to four years, take one eggshell measure, divided into two doses. Administer once in the morning and once in the afternoon.
To treat sudden jaundice in children, with yellowing of the face, eyes, skin, and muscles. Gualou Gen Yin (Trichosanthes Root Infusion) Formula
Sheng Gualougen (Radix Trichosanthis, raw).
The above single ingredient is pounded to extract juice (2 dahe). Mix with 1 large spoon of honey. Warm over fire and divide into three doses.
To treat jaundice disease in children. Tugua Gen Zhi (Melon Root Juice) Formula
Tugua gen zhi (Juice of Radix Coccinae).
The above single ingredient: For children aged one to two years, take half an eggshell measure, divided into two doses. For children aged three to four years, take one eggshell measure, divided into two doses. Administer once in the morning and once in the evening.
To treat jaundice of the body and eyes in children. Qinjiao Tang (Gentian Decoction) Formula
Qinjiao (Radix Gentianae Macrophyllae, 3 fen).
The above single ingredient is coarsely pounded and sifted. Take 1 qianbi per dose. Add 1 he of cow's milk. Decoct together until 5 parts remain. Strain and divide into doses to be taken warm, three times daily. Adjust dosage according to the child's size.
To treat various types of jaundice in children. Gouti San (Momordica Powder) Formula
Gouti (Fructus Momordicae, 14 seeds), Xiaodou (Vigna angularis, 20 grains), Nuomi (Oryza sativa var. glutinosa, 40 grains).
The above three ingredients are pounded and sieved into powder. Blow a small amount into the nostrils. The disease will heal immediately.
To treat jaundice disease in children. Jiugen Zhi (Chinese Chive Root Juice) Formula
Jiugen zhi (Juice of Radix Allii Tuberosi).
The above single ingredient: Drip a small amount into the nostrils. Yellow fluid will discharge, and the disease will heal immediately.
To treat Stomach heat in children causing slight yellowing of the body. Chu Re Fen (Heat-Removing Powder) Formula
Hanshuishi (Aragonitum, crushed), Mangxiao (Natrii Sulfas), Huashi (Talcum, crushed), Shigao (Gypsum Fibrosum, crushed), Chishizhi (Halloysitum Rubrum, crushed), Muxiang (Radix Aucklandiae), Dahuang (Radix et Rhizoma Rhei, chopped), Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae, chopped), Huangqin (Radix Scutellariae, remove black heart), Fangfeng (Radix Saposhnikoviae, remove forks), Xiong (Radix Ligustici Chuanxiong), Mahuanggen (Radix Ephedrae, equal parts).
The above twelve ingredients are pounded and sieved into powder. Mix with 1 sheng of Geffen (Concha Meretricis) powder and 3 he of medicinal powder. Sieve again. Apply powder to the child's body three times daily.
